Chapter 485, Section 483: Maggie
Without stopping.
An owl once again entered the tower.
Such an owl is not particularly special on this night.
Sheen was arranging the gift boxes.
The magic hand mirror lit up naturally.
The busy badger stopped baking its dessert and instead revealed its face.
“Sheen…”
It was Justin's voice; his eyes were a little red.
"good evening."
Sheen said.
"Happy birthday."
Justin said.
Before he could say anything more, Ron, with two chicken legs stuffed in his mouth, disappeared and transformed into an excited red-haired wizard.
"Sheen, I have to say... Ah, everyone's here... Sheen, it's so nice to hear this news, happy birthday!"
Ron's face was practically popping out of the screen.
"Perfect timing, 12:02. Will I be the first one there...?"
Next up was Harry. He was startled to see everyone there, but then he excitedly started chatting with them.
This is destined to be a wonderful night.
Sheehan watched as Neville and Hermione joined the conversation, and he ate a cherry.
Yes, it's sweet.
……
This was Sheehan's first time attending a party.
Although wizards were happy to invite him to almost every party, Sheen never attended a single one.
For the most part, magic held an unshakeable place in his heart.
But today was different; Professor McGonagall wouldn't allow him to step out of the villa.
Fred and George snatched a waiter's job from the other wizards, carrying homemade forms and helping to guide guests to their seats.
Under a tree not far from them, a group of waiters in white robes and a band in gold shirts were sitting and handing out party favors to passersby.
In the center of the garden is a huge round table.
The food laid out on top was as lavish as that in the Great Hall of Hogwarts.
Sheen could see that the huge pumpkin was full of hot, sweet pumpkin juice.
In the garden, bees and butterflies lazily fluttered among the grass, bushes, and hedges.
On this day, the crowds lost their clear form in Sheen's eyes, and the world seemed more like a hazy, gentle shadow.
Thus, ambiguity became certainty, and time flowed on in places unknown to Sheen.
July 31st.
Sheen, who was holding "Dream Stories," put the book down.
He turned his gaze to a distant place, on Privet Road in London, where his magical creations discovered some special wizards.
"Will."
Sheen said.
“It’s a sad feeling.”
A tiny fairy appeared out of nowhere.
"Go to London."
Sheen said.
Will placed his hand on Sheehan's arm, and the two vanished from the spot at the same time.
When they reappeared, the stone grounds of Hogwarts Castle had been turned into asphalt roads.
The bronze plaque at No. 4 Privet Road gleamed in the sunlight.
Sheen turned his gaze toward the villa.
There, there was a boy with a scar on his forehead.
"Got it, Potter? Maggie knows nothing about your oddities, and I don't want anything—anything strange—to happen while she's here."
"At least behave yourself now, understand?"
"Uncle Vernon said, his nerves on edge."
"it is good."
Harry agreed without hesitation.
Although Aunt Maggie's arrival was the worst birthday gift he had ever received, he still agreed to it.
He had to go to Hogsmeade with his companions—they had made a deal.
He imagined what Aunt Maggie looked like, and wondered if she might have changed as well.
Aunt Maggie, she is Uncle Vernon's sister.
Although she was not related to Harry by blood, Harry was always forced to call her "Aunt." She lived in a house with a large garden in the countryside and kept many bulldogs.
She didn't live on Privet Drive often because she couldn't bear to leave her beloved dogs, but every time she visited, she left Harry with a terrifying impression that he still vividly remembers.
At Dudley's fifth birthday party, Aunt Maggie hit Harry hard on the shin with her cane to prevent him from beating Dudley in a musical costume game.
Years later, she appeared at Christmas, bringing Dudley a computer-controlled robot, but giving Harry a box of dog food biscuits instead.
The last time was the year before Harry went to Hogwarts, when Harry accidentally stepped on the paw of her beloved dog, Lippi.
Harry was chased by the dog into the garden and climbed a tree. Aunt Maggie didn't call the dog back until after midnight.
Even today, Dali still laughs until tears stream down his face when he thinks about it.
She is a complete, heartless scoundrel.
Even Justin commented on it this way.
In the blink of an eye, the crunching sound of gravel being crushed could be heard outside. Uncle Vernon's car slowly turned into the driveway, then the door slammed shut, and he walked along the garden path.
"Let's go."
Aunt Petunia whispered to Harry.
She went to the door first, and Harry followed behind her.
To be honest, this is a really strange angle.
When Harry unconsciously hid himself inside Aunt Petunia's body, he actually felt a little bit of peace of mind.
The door opened, and Aunt Maggie was standing in the doorway.
She looked a lot like Uncle Vernon; she was tall and stocky, with a purplish-red face and even a small mustache.
She was carrying a huge box in one hand and had her arm around a grumpy old bulldog in the other.
Where is my Dada?
Aunt Maggie asked in a gruff voice,
Where is my dear nephew?
Dudley staggered into the foyer, his golden hair plastered flat on his fat head, and a bow tie almost completely hidden by his many chins.
Aunt Maggie shoved the box aside. Then she put an arm around Dudley and gave him a big kiss on the cheek.
The grumpy old bulldog stared at Harry, who felt a chill run down his spine and shrank back.
This trick worked; his view was blocked by Aunt Petunia's leg, so he couldn't see the vicious dog, and Harry's fear lessened considerably.
Soon they started drinking, and Aunt Maggie pretended not to see Harry, as if someone had made some demands of her.
But when they started talking, she liked to compare Harry and Dudley. Her greatest pleasure was buying Dudley expensive gifts while glaring at Harry, as if to see if he dared to ask why he wasn't included.
She also frequently made veiled comments about why Harry had become such a good-for-nothing.
"Vernon, please don't blame yourself for how this child has turned out this way."
She said, her face flushed.
"If the core of something is corrupted, no one can fix it."
Harry tried to focus on eating, but his hands trembled uncontrollably and his anger burned in his face.
Don't forget the permit form, he told himself, thinking of Hogsmeade.
Don't say anything. Don't get up...
"This is a fundamental law of heredity,"
she says,
"You often see this in dogs. If the mother dog has a problem, the puppies will almost certainly be in bad shape too—"
Harry's face was burning hot, and his eyes were bloodshot.
He was trembling uncontrollably.
Think of Hogsmeade—
“Maggie…”
“Maggie!”
Two voices rang out simultaneously.
But none of these sounds could compare to the deafening noise coming from the doorway.
The door was somehow opened, and Aunt Maggie swelled up like a balloon.
Her flushed face spread out, her small eyes bulged out, and her lips stretched out to the sides, so tight that she couldn't speak.
Then, several buttons on her clothes popped off, banging against the wall—she was like a giant balloon inflating, her belly breaking the belt of her clothes, each finger swollen like an inflated sausage…
“Maggie!”
Uncle Vernon and Aunt Penny shouted in unison.
Aunt Maggie's body rose from the chair and floated toward the ceiling.
"You can't do that! The wands of off-campus wizards are forbidden from using magic!"
Uncle Vernon cried out in alarm.
"My wand belongs to my grandfather."
The voice pulled Harry back to reality from his anger and confusion. He looked towards the doorway, where Sheen was smiling slightly.
