The Law of Heaven

Chapter 13 Aihara is following

Chapter 13 Aihara is following

Xiangsi leaned out the window, her legs crossed, watching her uncle's family surrounded by men in black below. Her innocent face was full of suspicion and confusion, and she couldn't figure it out.

She is a sensible girl. After her father passed away, she and her brother were left to depend on each other. However, she did not feel that she was the one who needed to be taken care of. Even though she is very young, she can do a lot of things.

She keeps her home spotless, gets along well with her neighbors, goes to the market after school to pick out cheap vegetables to cook, and even uses her beauty to earn advertising revenue through social media.

She felt that her brother was the one who needed to be taken care of more.

Because Aihara was born with visual impairment, she was unable to be cured even after visiting major hospitals all over the country. Her current withdrawn personality is a result of being isolated since childhood, and she is likely to be disliked by others when she looks for a job or gets married as an adult.

That's why Xiangsi worked extra hard in her studies, hoping to earn more money in the future so that she could ensure her brother's quality of life.

Only today did she realize that she had underestimated her brother.

"Brother, have you been secretly hanging out with gangsters behind my back?"

She finally couldn't help but turn her head and ask.

Aihara rolled her eyes.

Those men in black belong to the security company under Deep Blue Union. They are very professional and specialize in handling daily affairs and disputes for these long-lived beings.

Jianmo had already given prior notice.

But Aihara couldn't very well tell his younger sister about the immortal beings; she wouldn't understand anyway.

He threw all the sofa covers into the washing machine and washed them, then picked up a mop and scrubbed the floor vigorously to clean up any traces left by strangers: "What nonsense are you thinking? You see me at school every day, how am I supposed to navigate the real world?"

Xiangsi pouted: "But isn't this how the underworld handles things? Those people look fierce and menacing; they're obviously not respectable people."

I thought my brother had assaulted someone and would probably be detained by the police tonight, but to my surprise, a bunch of men in black came to the house in less than ten minutes and dragged my uncle's family downstairs for a talk, just like a headmaster dragging students.

The key point is that those men in black showed considerable respect to Aihara.

He kept calling him "Mr. Xiang".

It's as if Aihara has become a yakuza godfather.

Anyway, I'm not involved in organized crime.

Aihara said helplessly, "Don't ask questions you shouldn't ask."

"And you can fight too."

Xiangsi leaned closer and carefully poked his arm, feeling the elasticity of the muscles.

Aihara raised an eyebrow: "Men and women shouldn't touch each other."

Xiangsi nudged him again and whispered, "Let me test your muscles. They're not real anymore. I feel like you've suddenly become really strong. You're not the same as before."

Aihara reached out and poked her little head: "When did your brother become a 'sharp dog'? Rome wasn't built in a day, and water doesn't wear away stone overnight. The fact that I can fight now is all the result of hard work and sweat. What do you know?"

"Really? I only see a kind of numerical beauty."

Xiangsi covered her forehead and stuck out her tongue.

This hit Aihara's sore spot. His current fighting power seems to be entirely due to the mutation brought about by the Dragon Bone Bracelet. He fights by numerically overwhelming his opponents, which is very mindless.

As for techniques or anything like that, there really aren't any.

"Go away, go away, go somewhere else."

Aihara pulled a wad of bills from his pocket and threw it on the table: "This is my living expenses for the time being. If it's not enough, just ask me for more. We'll move out in two weeks."

Xiangsi was stunned when she saw the stack of money: "Brother, where did you get this money? Did you rob someone?"

"Do not ask."

Aihara was always too embarrassed to admit that he had stolen it.

Just then, there was a knock on the door, and a menacing-looking man in black stood in the doorway, forcing a friendly smile: "Mr. Aihara, the matter has been resolved. After our coercion... ah, no, after friendly communication, they gave up on calling the police. As for the landlord, he didn't dare to say anything; we have something on him."

Aihara was taken aback: "What leverage?"

The man in black hesitated for a moment: "That landlord is a pervert; he's keeping a mistress on the side."

Aihara shrugged: "What's so special about that?"

The man in black lowered his voice: "A man."

"puff."

The eavesdropper almost spat out his water.

"Okay, thank you for your hard work."

Aihara smiled.

"You're welcome. It's our pleasure to serve you."

The man in black clearly knew his rank, and his attitude was impeccable. He then turned to the little girl on the sofa: "Miss Xiangsi, do you need them to apologize? I heard from them that they were beaten up because they bullied you. Those bastards are real beasts. If you don't want to see them, we can help you get revenge!"

"what?"

Xiangsi hurriedly waved her hand: "No need, no need."

"Oh, you don't want to see them, huh? Fine, I'll have my guys deal with them. No need to trouble you."

The man in black immediately understood.

"It wasn't me...brother!"

Desperate for love, she turned to him for help.

Where did this gangster come from?

As expected, Aihara still went into the underworld without telling her.

Xiangsi had already accepted this fact and felt that she would soon see her brother's arrest warrant on TV and then be summoned by the police to give a statement.

Surrendering is out of the question. We need to find a way to get my brother to escape, while Xiangsi stays behind to deal with the police and buy some more time.

"Alright, let them go."

Aihara waved his hand and said as gently as possible, "I'll leave the rest to you."

"Good."

The man in black said, "Starting tomorrow, I'll be living downstairs. There will be some brothers who will drive Miss Xiangsi to and from school every day."

Xiangsi stared in disbelief: "Huh?"

What kind of bizarre life is this?

Aihara was also stunned: "Is that even possible?"

Because of what happened tonight, Xiangyuan really didn't feel very safe, so he asked on the phone if someone could be sent to protect his younger sister.

Jane agreed.

But Aihara didn't expect them to go to such lengths; they were simply too dedicated.

The man in black smiled slightly and lowered his voice, saying, "This is nothing. You may not be fully aware of your importance. A Creation-level long-lived being can mobilize far more energy in the real world than this. You may not realize it, but from our perspective, you are already a big shot."

Aihara scratched his head, realizing that's how it is.

"Brother, I don't want to! It's only a few hundred meters, and a bunch of middle-aged men are escorting me to school. My classmates will laugh at me! I don't want to be seen as the heroine of a Mary Sue novel, and I don't want them to call me 'Miss' anymore!" Xiangsi was on the verge of a breakdown. Although she had fantasized about a similar life before, she still felt ashamed if this actually happened.

“These are extraordinary times, so you need to behave yourself. As for those other matters, I will discuss them with them later.”

Aihara suddenly remembered something, pinched the girl's soft cheek, and instructed, "Go wash up and go to bed first. I have something to do outside and will be back later."

Xiangsi, looking unwilling, had her face pulled and grabbed his hand, demanding, "Where are you going?"

Aihara rolled her eyes and poked her head again: "Children shouldn't ask about adult matters."

·
·
At 10:30 p.m., a taxi stopped in front of the community hospital. The driver yawned listlessly while listening to an audiobook, glancing out the window every now and then.

Aihara sat in the shadows of the back seat, resting with his eyes closed. He had changed his clothes and was now wearing a white baseball cap, a black mask, a gray hooded sweatshirt, slim-fit jeans, and Nike sneakers.

His senses spread silently like a tide.

The sounds of reading a novel aloud inside the car, the vibrations of the engine, the chirping of cicadas in the treetops outside the window, and the whispers of patients and their families at the hospital entrance all blended together.

So clear.

The uncle and aunt helped their good-for-nothing son out of the hospital. Their faces were no longer filled with fear when the man in black spoke to them; instead, they were full of resentment and bitterness.

Especially his older cousin, whose kick, though not particularly hard, still caused him minor injuries. He won't be able to go out and have fun for a while and will have to stay home to recover.

"Where did that punk get his strength?"

The family of three were whispering to each other.

Aihara gave a cold smile. Considering their blood relation, he held back his strength, otherwise he was afraid that he might accidentally cancel the family's registration.

Although the matter seemed to be over, he was still a little uneasy. He had heard that his uncle's family owed money, so he followed them to see what was going on.

To prevent that family from resorting to desperate measures.

“This little beast isn’t from our lineage, which is why he’s so rebellious. His parents were heartless people back then.”

"The second son shouldn't have adopted him; he let a wolf into the house!"

"Xiao Si has been corrupted by him! Now look what's happened, I wonder if there's any chance of getting that house, and what about A Heng's hundreds of thousands of yuan in debt..."

The aunt suddenly noticed that her son was not moving.

"Aheng, what's wrong?"

My uncle had a dull ache in the back of his head, and he didn't know why.

My older cousin stood there, stunned, being helped up by his parents.

He dared not move forward, and even trembled.

The elderly couple looked ahead and their expressions suddenly changed.

As if they had seen a ghost in a horror movie, their blood ran cold, and the three of them retreated together.

"good evening."

A middle-aged man stood at the hospital entrance, his bald head adorned with tattoos of a blue dragon and a white tiger. A half-smile played on his face, pierced by a knife scar. His right hand was in his pocket, while his left hand toyed with a butterfly knife.

"Come over and let's talk, Mr. Xiang."

The middle-aged man walked up to the family of three, completely ignoring their trembling and fear, and said with a smile, "Why are you so surprised? If you can't even handle such a small matter, then I have no choice but to come and do it myself."

The uncle and his wife were so frightened that they let go of their son's hand.

Plop.

My older cousin knelt on the ground, cold sweat pouring down his face: "No, please listen to me, I didn't..."

"Shhh."

The middle-aged man raised a finger to his lips and said with a smile, "I said that if you could get that house, I would forgive the money you owe me. Obviously, you can't do that, so I can only calculate the interest according to the rules... Now you owe me a total of four million six hundred and twenty thousand."

This astronomical figure brought a look of despair to the family of three; they simply didn't have that much money.

"Please give me another chance, I can do it..."

The older cousin tried to argue, saying, "It's just a run-down feng shui shop. These kinds of shops are everywhere now. It has no value whatsoever!"

The middle-aged man suddenly bent down and gently pressed the butterfly knife against his neck.

"You just need to tell me the address of that feng shui shop, and I'll go there myself to see if they have what I need. If the police station weren't nearby, I'd really like to go and meet your younger brother and sister in person."

The middle-aged man pulled a photograph out of his pocket and chuckled, "Or, if you've seen this before, we can discuss it further."

The uncle's family looked at the photo and all showed puzzled expressions: "We've never seen it."

Inside the taxi, Aihara sensed all of this; the photograph was none other than the keepsake from Mirage.

This man was clearly the creditor of the eldest uncle's family. His purpose seemed to be more than just getting money; he wanted the token from the Mirage Tower.

"No wonder my uncle's family wanted to take advantage of the family's legacy; they've messed with the wrong people. This middle-aged man seems to have followed my second uncle's lead and is convinced that there are tokens of the Mirage Tower in my second uncle's estate."

Aihara came to a conclusion through analysis.

Perhaps there are rumors that the second uncle possesses a token that leads to the Mirage Tower, which is why someone has targeted their family and resorted to coercion and enticement.

These people probably want to enter the Mirage to change their fate.

But all of these people were wrong.

My second uncle had no token.

He doesn't need any tokens of affection.

Because the owner of Mirage Tower is none other than Second Uncle himself.

However, the truth was so absurd that no one dared to think about it.

But that's what it is.

Now, Aihara is the owner of Mirage, but that doesn't stop those with ulterior motives from keeping an eye on him. Nobody knows whether he actually has the key.

“Jian Mo is telling the truth. Even if it’s just a token from the Mirage Tower, it’s enough to make this group of people fight over it. Damn, how come I didn’t know Xia Jifu was so amazing?” Xiang Yuan stared at the middle-aged man’s back, his eyes turning cold, his fingers tapping lightly on his knee.

The creditors of my uncle's family are no ordinary people. Even from a distance, one can sense their dangerous, beast-like aura, far surpassing the robbers we encountered today. They might even be stronger than Aihara and Jianmo.

Aihara had originally planned to find a way to subdue this guy and extract some useful information from him. It would be even better if he could find out how his second uncle died, but now his plan would most likely have to be shelved.

Aihara is just a newly awakened immortal being.

His starting point may be high, but he is not so arrogant as to take the initiative to face an unknown opponent.

He had to consider his own safety first.

Including Xiaosi's life safety.

Aihara's eyes flickered slightly as countless ingenious ideas flashed through his mind. He was thinking about how to solve this problem with minimal risk.

and many more.

He suddenly had a bold idea.
