Chapter 544 Andro Beast and Secrets

The monster landed smoothly in the central square of the gray buildings, its huge wings stirring up a gust of air mixed with rust and dust.

As the light of evolution faded, it reverted to its small beetle form.

All around was deathly silence, with only the rhythmic, monotonous sound of machinery churning from the depths of the distant factory buildings, like the slumbering heartbeat of this abandoned industrial zone.

The towering chimneys no longer emit smoke, and the vast network of pipes, like a solidified steel python, coils around every building, cold and silent.

"This place... feels so strange."

The beetle-like beast flapped its wings and cautiously surveyed its surroundings.

There was no sign of life in the air, which felt somewhat eerie.

Koushiro didn't answer; his gaze was drawn to a moving conveyor belt.

On the conveyor belt, metal ingots are picked up by robotic arms and sent into a huge furnace to melt into liquid, then cast into shape and cooled.

Then it is transported by another conveyor belt to a huge shredder, where it is turned back into metal fragments, and the cycle repeats.

Inside the factory, the parts are reassembled and then disassembled...

Meaningless production, meaningless decomposition.

The entire factory was like a giant program trapped in a logical loop, executing instructions over and over again without any results.

Just then, a series of heavy, rhythmic footsteps came from a dark passageway to the side.

"Clang... Clang... Clang..."

Each step felt like stepping on one's heart, causing the ground to tremble slightly.

"Something's coming, Koushiro, watch out!"

The beetle instantly became alert, its six legs tensing as it stood in front of Koushiro.

A tall figure emerged from the shadows.

His body shape is similar to that of a human, but his entire body is covered in heavy metal armor.

Andromon.

The name flashed into Koushiro's mind instantly, but he didn't panic at all. Instead, he took a step forward and held down the tense Beetlemon.

"We don't mean any harm."

As Koushiro spoke, he raised the white device in his hand.

Andromon stopped in his tracks.

His red electronic eyes flashed a few times, and an invisible scanning beam seemed to shoot out from his eyes, sweeping over the Divine Plan in Koushiro's hand.

A moment later, the electronic sound from his synthesizer echoed in the empty factory:
"Identity confirmed: the chosen children."

Hello, I am Andromon…

"You know us?"

Koushiro immediately seized on the key word and pressed for an answer.

"The relevant record exists in my database."

Andromon replied, his voice flat and unchanging.

"This is an ancient legend."

When dark forces engulf the Digital World and the world falls into crisis, the Chosen Children, along with their partners, will descend to bring light and order back to the world.

"what?"

Upon hearing this, Koushiro keenly sensed something amiss.

Andromon uses the words “legend” and “record” rather than “prophecy”.

It's more like a statement about something that has already happened...

In the original story, when Apocalymon and the Dark Masters first appeared, they were sealed away by the four Holy Beasts who guarded the east, west, south, and north of the Digital World.

He initially thought this was the power possessed by the world's managers, such as constancy.

However, if homeostasis or the Four Holy Beasts truly possessed the power to seal enemies of that level, why were the Chosen Children later required to risk their lives to fight against the resurgent Dark Masters and Apocalymon?

This doesn't make logical sense, unless...

Unless what sealed them was not the Four Divine Beasts and constancy themselves, but rather another power.

Could it be that... there were other chosen children before them?
"Andromon,"

Koushiro's tone became serious.

"May I go to your factory's central control room? I need to look up some documents."

Upon hearing this, Andromon's electronic eyes flickered for a moment, as if performing an access check.

"Permission granted. Please follow me."

A few seconds later, he nodded slightly, turned around, and led Izzy and Tentomon deeper into the factory.

A thin layer of dust covered the control room, and most of the screens on the huge circular control console were black.

Only the central control terminal was still dimly lit, displaying lines of unintelligible characters scrolling across it.

Without hesitation, Koushiro immediately opened his portable workstation, skillfully retrieved several data cables from his backpack, and connected them to the main control terminal. With a crisp click of the keyboard, his computer screen was instantly flooded with a torrent of data.

"interesting……"

A smile of excitement appeared on Koushiro's lips.

The factory's database was severely damaged, but he still managed to piece together the truth from the remaining fragmented information.

This is an armory that specializes in producing and modifying "modified" Digimon like Andromon.

What plunged the entire factory into a meaningless cycle was the damage and loss of its core production materials.

Without proper blueprints and instructions, these automated machines can only execute the most basic loop programs that are hard-coded into the underlying logic.

He immediately started running the program, copying all the remaining data, especially the digital text he had never seen before, to his computer, ready to analyze it.

Just as he was fully immersed in his work, Taiyi's loud and boisterous voice came through the walkie-talkie.

"Koushiro! How are things going on your end?"

We see a really big factory. Are you inside?

"We're outside the factory now. Is it safe here?"

Before Koushiro could answer, Yamato Ishida's voice joined in.

"Come in. It's safe here."

Koushiro picked up the walkie-talkie and pressed the call button.

"Great!"

Taiichi's excited voice came through, and then the communication ended.

Taichi and Yamato quickly found Koushiro.

They were quite startled when they saw Andromon, but after Koushiro's explanation, they quickly accepted this silent new "friend".

Afterwards, Koushiro suggested making this place his new base, firstly because it was safe here, and secondly because he wanted to conduct research here.

Upon hearing what Koushiro said, Taichi and Yamato nodded, and then went to gather the others.

In the days that followed, the chosen children used this massive, unmanned arms factory as their base to begin their exploration and life in this world.

The existence of Andromon provided an absolutely safe haven, allowing everyone to finally get a good night's sleep.

Meanwhile, Koushiro, like a child who has found his favorite toy, has completely settled down in the control room.

The rest of the group, led by Taiichi and Awa, began to explore the surrounding area, using the factory as their center, in search of food and useful supplies.

This process was not smooth sailing; they encountered all sorts of Digimon, some friendly and some hostile.

A battle is inevitable.

In a conflict with a group of Rookie-level Digimon over food, Mimi Tachikawa's Palmon successfully evolved into Totodactylmon to protect Mimi from being surrounded.

While crossing a swamp, Joe Kido rescued Takeru, who had fallen into the water, and his Gomamon evolved into Seizomon.

With each battle fought side by side, the bond between the children and their partners deepened, and the Digimon's power steadily grew in the process.

Agumon, Gabumon, Biyomon, Totodactylmon, Sealmon... Except for Takeru's Patamon, who is the youngest, the partners of the others have all evolved to the Champion stage and have stronger combat power.

It also gives everyone more confidence to survive in this perilous world.

Meanwhile, Koushiro's research has also made great progress.

With Andromon's assistance, Koushiro's decoding work has made a breakthrough.

That evening, when the group returned to the factory exhausted but with much to show for their exploration, they found that Koushiro had unusually left the control room and was standing in the central square waiting for them.

"Everyone, come here for a moment."

"I have some really interesting things I'd like to show you."

He waved to the crowd.

"What, Koushiro? Why are you being so mysterious?"

Taiyi, while munching on the wild fruit he had just found, curiously leaned closer.

Others gathered around, their interest in anything new and exciting stemming from their adventures over the past few days.

Instead of answering directly, Koushiro turned his laptop toward the crowd.

On the screen were the ancient digital characters he had deciphered, but now they were arranged in a peculiar sequence.

"You guys watch carefully."

Koushiro took a deep breath and pressed the Enter key.

The moment he pressed the button, something magical happened.

Before him, the digital texts he had deciphered appeared out of thin air, shimmering with a pale red light, and rapidly combined and rotated to form a complex magic circle pattern.

Immediately afterwards, a scorching aura emanated from the center of the magic circle.

To everyone's astonishment, a fireball the size of a fist, burning with raging flames, appeared out of thin air in the center of the magic circle, hovering in mid-air and radiating astonishing heat...
