Chapter 227 Hermione's Adventure

Chapter 227 Hermione's Adventure

"Could it be that some significant experiences can also enhance a wizard's spellcasting abilities?"

Hermione said, frowning.

Harry nodded, agreeing with her statement.

"Perhaps so."

"But this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity—Harry, you're so lucky—"

Ron said with a hint of jealousy—he greatly admired Levi, but he was neither as outstanding as Hermione, who could join Levi's study group, nor as lucky as Harry.

The last time I had a one-on-one conversation with Levi was during the Duel Club selection process. Speaking of which, by the end of September, just before the Quidditch season begins, a new round of Duel Club selections will start.
Thinking of this, Ron's relaxed and indifferent mood vanished, replaced by a sense of urgency. Last time, he barely passed the test, and although he had improved a lot this time, the matter was of great importance, and he was still nervous because he was very concerned.

Hermione, however, was thinking about something else entirely.

Like Ron, she also felt that Harry's experience was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

So—she has a bold idea!!!

现在的时间是下午14点20分,如果倒退5个小时.就是9点20分,嗯还不够——但是如果再多倒退十个小时呢?
It was 23:20 PM yesterday, and Harry and Professor Levi probably had only just left!

Hermione, you must be crazy!

Her heart pounded with the dangerous thoughts that were forming in her mind, and her blood was boiling—but at the same time, a strong sense of unwillingness drove her forward!
This was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and she didn't want to miss it. Besides, she wouldn't cause any trouble—which was in line with the principles of the Time Converter!

"Harry—can I ask you for a favor?"

Hermione clasped her hands together in pleading with Harry—she told herself that if Harry refused her, she would dismiss this crazy idea from her mind.

"What is it? Tell me."

Harry and Ron exchanged a puzzled look—Hermione had never done anything like this before.

"Could you lend me your invisibility cloak for a little while? I'll return it to you in a bit."

"An invisibility cloak?" Harry was somewhat surprised. "It's possible, but what do you want to use it for?"

"You didn't hear about Harry and are planning a sneaky night out tonight, did you?"

Ron stared at Hermione—they hadn't done anything this adventurous in a long time, let alone Hermione.
“It’s not a night out. I have important things to do, but I can’t tell you right now—I promise I’ll explain it to you when the time is right—but not now.”

Hermione looked somewhat apologetic.

But Harry quickly and generously accepted everything.

"Okay—Hermione, I only have one request—don't do anything too risky, okay?"

"Harry—you're really going to lend her? You're insane!"

Ron glanced at Harry, and seeing that the two had already stood up to go back to their dorm to get their things, Ron couldn't help but follow them and continued speaking.

“This won’t do—she’s clearly going to do something dangerous with the invisibility cloak.”

Even though Hermione was present, he insisted on referring to her as "she," which made Hermione give him a disapproving look.

But what Ron said afterward showed some conscience.

“The three of us will go together! Hermione—whatever you do, we'll be there for you!”

He looked at Hermione solemnly—at that moment, Hermione admitted she was somewhat moved.

Unfortunately, what she was about to do was an incredibly selfish and risky thing, and she couldn't let anyone else get involved. "I'm sorry—the more people participate, the more dangerous it becomes, so I'll go alone."

Hermione clasped her hands together and apologized to Ron.

But the more this happened, the angrier Ron became.

As the three left the noisy classroom, he couldn't help but raise his voice in the hallway.

"I really don't understand—what's going on lately?"

Hermione and Harry stared at him in surprise.

Ron looked somewhat frantic.

"Do you remember back in first grade? The three of us were best friends, and we never backed down, even when faced with the challenge of death—the troll, that strange basement, Professor Quirrell."
I thought we could face anything together—not even the basilisk—I thought nothing could stop us, not even the most dangerous or adventurous thing in the world.

But look—

Ron said, sounding somewhat frantic.

“Hermione, you’ve been elusive lately. One second you’re here, the next you’ve vanished. Harry, I don’t know what you’re busy with all day. You’re always nowhere to be seen in the common room.”

You two both have your own secrets—and I'm the only one who doesn't? Does that mean our team fell apart without my knowledge?
So when you face danger, you choose to face it alone? Are Harry and I no longer worthy of your trust?

No—that's not how it is.

Hermione's face turned somewhat pale.

Harry's expression also turned serious—he was persuaded.

“I’m sorry, Ron, about what’s been going on with us lately—I think I’ve just been too busy to talk about it. If you want to know, I will tell you.”

He then looked at Hermione and said solemnly and seriously:
“Ron is right, Hermione—you can’t choose to take risks alone.”

His eyelashes fluttered slightly, and he said firmly:
“I’m sorry, I’ve changed my mind—I won’t lend you the invisibility cloak unless you tell me what you need it for—but this is not because I’m stingy or threatening you, it’s just that I don’t want you to take any risks, that’s all.”

“Okay,” Hermione said dryly, “Okay, okay.”

Her voice gradually became self-deprecating.

"what------"

She suddenly crouched down, clutching her head, and cried out. Before Ron and Harry could kneel down to check on her, she immediately stood up again.

"It's really embarrassing to tell you this—and it involves a secret that you absolutely, positively must not tell anyone."

Ron's sad expression vanished, replaced by the look of a cat that had caught a fish's scent—he smelled secrets and adventure!
"Hermione, what are you talking about? Of course we wouldn't!"

He repeatedly assured them.

Harry pursed his lips and nodded solemnly in response:
"Tell me, what do you need the invisibility cloak for?"

Hermione looked around and then led the two to an even more secluded place.

"It's really embarrassing for me to talk about this."

Hermione blushed and revealed her entire plan.

She planned to use Harry's Invisibility Cloak to become invisible, then use the Time-Turner to go back fifteen hours—and then she would rush to Number 12 Grimmauld Place so she could witness the moment Harry had mentioned.
