Douluo Continent: Martial Soul Young Gilas, Sandstorm King!

Chapter 17: Choosing the right master is so important!

Chapter 17 Choosing the right master... is so important! My four senior brothers!

"It's so important to have the right master!"

Lin Xia stroked the leather-textured book cover, looked at the two alluring "mountains" in the space, and sighed sincerely.

The tall building not only provided him with resources and shelter, but also gave him the key to a broader stage in the future.

Unlike Yu Xiaogang, who claims he wants to become his apprentice but doesn't offer any practical knowledge, only spouting theories all day long.

"Boom boom boom——"

Just then, a knock on the door, though slightly urgent, was still quite gentle, breaking the silence of the room.

Young Gilas immediately raised its little head alertly, its red eyes staring at the doorway.

Lin Xia also came to her senses, quickly put down the book in her hand, walked to the door, and opened the door.

The light at the entrance was mostly blocked by four towering figures.

The four men, all over 1.9 meters tall, resembled four pieces of refined iron that had been forged, their muscles bulging and making their leather aprons, stained with oil and scorched by sparks, bulge out.

Their skin was bronze from years of exposure to the furnace fire, their arms were as thick as Lin Xia's thighs, their hands were covered with thick calluses and small burn scars, and their bodies exuded a strong masculine aura of sweat, metal, and coal.

The leader was the oldest, around thirty years old, with a square face, thick eyebrows, and big eyes. His gaze was steady and conveyed a sense of reliability.

Next to him was a slightly younger man with a buzz cut, sharp eyes, and a hearty smile.

The third one seemed a bit impatient, standing on tiptoe and peering around with undisguised curiosity on his face.

The last one was the most imposing, standing silently at the back like a small mountain.

Four pairs of eyes, eight gazes, all focused on Lin Xia as she opened the door, their eyes filled with pure curiosity and benevolent inquiry.

After a brief, almost frozen silence, the four of them, as if rehearsed, instantly broke into huge, somewhat naive smiles, and their voices, loud as the clanging of a hammer, shouted in unison:

"Are you the junior brother?"

The sound echoed in the quiet corridor, making Lin Xia's ears ring.

Seeing the bewildered expressions on Lin Xia's and the strange little beast's faces, the four of them suddenly realized that their abruptness and loud volume were too alarming.

The man at the head, with a square face and a steady, reliable look, immediately became apologetic, scratching the back of his head with his large, fan-like hand.

"Oh dear! Look at our loud voices!"

He quickly lowered his voice, sounding somewhat annoyed.

"Did I scare my junior brother and this little guy? I'm so sorry! We are Master's disciples, arranged according to the order of entry. My name is Silong, and I am the eldest brother!" He patted his broad chest.

The man next to her, with a neat buzz cut, sharp eyes, and a hearty smile, immediately chimed in, "I'm the second one, Sidi!" He grinned at Lin Xia in a friendly manner.

The one who was standing on tiptoe, looking the most impatient, eagerly craned his head and spoke rapidly: "Third Brother Siyu! Hehe, Junior Brother, your Martial Soul is really rare!" His eyes were fixed on Young Giras, full of surprise.

The most burly and silent man at the very back simply nodded, his voice low and brief: "Fourth brother, Sikai."

After the introduction, all four pairs of eyes focused on Lin Xia and the gray-green dinosaur at his feet, their pure curiosity and goodwill almost overflowing.

Lin Xia composed herself, suppressing the dizziness from the "sonic attack," and immediately led Young Gilas to her four senior brothers, clasping her hands in a fist salute and bowing deeply, her movements precise and respectful.

"Lin Xia greets her four senior brothers!"

His voice was clear and bright, carrying the vigor of a young man.

The young Gilas seemed to sense its master's seriousness and followed suit, clumsily putting its two short front paws together and bowing to the four of them, making a "yo-ji" sound. It looked both cute and earnest.

"Ouch!"

"My goodness!" "This little guy... he even knows manners?!"

"So...so cute!"

The four burly men, as tough as iron towers, were instantly touched in the softest part of their hearts by Youngkiras's action!
Siyu's eyes widened, Sidi smiled so hard her eyes disappeared, and even the most composed Silong and the taciturn Sikai showed rare, almost "loving" smiles on their faces, which were so cute that they melted everyone's hearts!

"Junior brother! From now on, in Gengjin City and the Blacksmith Association, no matter what happens, just say our name!"

Silong patted his chest, making a loud thud, exuding heroic spirit.

"If anyone dares to bully you, or if you encounter any difficulties, just ask your senior brother! We'll take care of it!"

“That’s right!” Sisi nodded vigorously. “If you need anything, or want to practice your strength by hitting something handy, don’t be shy!”

"That's right! If anyone makes you unhappy, your third senior brother will stand up for you!" Siyu patted her chest and promised.

Although Sikai did not speak, she nodded heavily, her eyes resolute.

Feeling the sincerity and protectiveness emanating from her four senior brothers, Lin Xia felt a surge of warmth in her heart, and a genuine smile appeared on her face.

"Thank you for your kindness, senior brothers!" Lin Xia stepped aside to make way for the doorway. "Senior brothers, please come in and have a seat?"

"No, no!"

Silong quickly waved his hand, looking a little embarrassed.

"We sneaked over to meet our junior brother while Master was giving his instructions. There are still a few crucial batches of alloy waiting to be cast at the workshop, we can't afford to delay! Another day! Another day we brothers can have a proper chat!"

"Yes, yes, the work is the priority!"

Sisi and Siyu quickly chimed in.

As Silong spoke, he reached out and touched an inconspicuous leather storage bag at his waist. With a flash of light, a pile of brand-new daily necessities appeared in his large palm.

Thick, soft cotton quilts, clean sheets and pillowcases, a set of washcloths, and even a large bag of clothes that smelled of soap.

"Junior brother, you must be lacking these since you just arrived."

Silong smiled and handed the items over.

"They're all new and clean! We blacksmiths aren't afraid of getting dirty, but we need to live in a comfortable place."

Lin Xia looked at it and saw that both the thickness of the quilt and the quality of the clothes were far better than the coarse cloth clothes he was wearing. It was clear that his senior brothers had specially prepared them.

Lin Xia was deeply moved and quickly accepted the heavy gift with both hands.

"Thank you for your trouble, senior brothers! Lin Xia is extremely grateful!"

"Haha, it's no big deal!"

Seeing how polite Lin Xia was, Si Long was even more pleased. Looking at the handsome and sensible young man in front of him and the equally "sensible" little dinosaur beside him, he couldn't stop smiling.

He reached out his rough, large hand, seemingly wanting to pat Lin Xia's shoulder, but then, afraid of startling him, he only gently pressed on Lin Xia's arm.

"Okay, we'll get back to work now! Stay here comfortably, and feel free to contact us anytime if you need anything!"

"Junior brother, see you later!"

Sisi and Siyu waved with smiles.

Sikai nodded silently again.

It's almost the end of the month, and there's no point in keeping the money. Robbery!!!
