"Sun Tzu's Art of War" says: Soldiers never tire of deceit.In the war-filled battlefield, you need to use all kinds of tricks to achieve your own victory; in the unpredictable life, you also need to use some special means and methods to achieve your goals.In the process, as long as it is not a deceitful way of harming others and benefiting oneself, it is okay to borrow and use it.

Lure to climb high, go up the house and take the ladder

Those who can make the enemy come to him will benefit him; those who can prevent the enemy from coming to him will harm him.

"Put it to death and live later" is to cut off all possibility and hope of retreat, so as to generate the motivation and courage to move forward.If it is applied to the opponent, cutting off all backup and support, and making him fall into the desperate situation of fighting alone, it is very likely that he will be caught without a fight.

This kind of strategy is exactly the strategy of "going up the house and pulling the ladder" among the 36 strategies, and the allusion of this strategy turns out to be the wise and god Zhuge Liang.

At the end of the Later Han Dynasty, Liu Biao preferred his youngest son, Liu Qi, to his eldest son, Liu Cong.Liu Qi's stepmother was afraid that Liu Qi's gaining power would affect his son Liu Cong's status, so she hated him very much.Liu Qi had also been aware of his dangerous situation long ago, so he asked Zhuge Liang for advice many times, but Zhuge Liang has always refused to give him advice, just blindly perfunctory him.

Presented by Duke Xian of Jin.Jin Xiangong went in without knowing it, and was about to eat when Li Ji suddenly interjected, "This meal is delivered from outside. Just in case, it's best to find someone to taste it first."So Jin Xiangong distributed the food to the left and right attendants. The attendants just tasted a little, and then fell to the ground and died.Duke Xian of Jin was furious. He reprimanded Shen Sheng for being unfilial and plotting to kill his father to seize the throne, and ordered Shen Sheng to be executed.When Shen Sheng heard the news, he killed himself without making any excuses.

After the story was told, Zhuge Liang made a conclusion: Shen Sheng died inside, and Chong'er lived outside.Although Liu Qi was honest but not stupid, he immediately understood the point of Zhuge Liang's words.So he immediately wrote a letter, requesting to go to Jiangxia to serve, like Chong'er, to avoid his stepmother to avoid persecution.

Liu Qi exchanged Zhuge Liang's opinion with a trick of "climbing the height and leaving the ladder", which Zhuge Liang, who is wise and resourceful, never expected.Liu Qi led Zhuge Liang to "go to the house" to ask him for advice, and "drawing the ladder" was to cut off his way out, and at the same time to dispel Zhuge Liang's worries.
