Chapter 97
What Lu Xiangyun said was exactly what Mei Zhixia wanted to say.

The house was quiet.

Mu Yicheng was stunned by Lu Xiangyun's words for a few seconds. He came back to his senses and smiled, "Okay, I'll stop bothering you."

"Don't bother, don't bother, Zhixia?"

Mei Zhixia froze for a moment, and murmured: "Well, don't bother."

After lunch, Lu Xiangyun tidied up Mei Zhixia's room and changed the sheets and quilts. In the past few days, Mu Yicheng slept in Mei Zhixia's room, and Zhixia slept in the same room with her.

In the afternoon, the sun was good. Mei Zhixia and Mu Yicheng went for a walk in the town. The two walked to a quiet small park and sat down on a bench.

Mu Yicheng called Uncle Liang and told him that he would not go back.

Putting her hands in her coat pockets, Mei Zhixia looked around and expressed her feelings: "This place has changed a lot. This small park used to be not as beautiful as it is now." She pointed to the swing not far away and said, "There used to be No swings."

Mu Yicheng looked at her and asked lightly: "You have such a good memory?"

"It's not very good to be honest."

Mu Yicheng was thoughtful: "Why do you say that?"

Mei Zhixia turned to look at him, and rubbed her head embarrassedly, "I don't know too well, I just feel that my memory is mostly blank, but I can't remember it. I think it may have something to do with the car accident a few years ago."

Mu Yicheng knew about the car accident, but this was the first time he heard Mei Zhixia mention it. His heart ached, and he asked knowingly, "Do you think it's a pity that you can't remember many things?"

"Of course." Mei Zhixia smiled at him, a blush appeared on her cheeks, "Didn't you know me a long time ago, maybe I don't remember you."

"You really don't remember me."

Mei Zhixia's smile froze, and a trace of disappointment flashed in her eyes, "Really?" After a pause, she asked, "What were we like before?"

Mu Yicheng lowered his eyebrows, hesitated for a few seconds, and said softly: "A few years ago, we were boyfriend and girlfriend."

Zhixia was a little surprised, "You lied to me, I don't remember bullying, so you are teasing me on purpose."

"How come, what I said is true, we dated from the age of 17 to the summer vacation after graduation, we separated."

Zhixia was taken aback again. She looked at Mu Yicheng, and felt a trace of sadness in his deep eyes. For some reason, her heart trembled suddenly, as if being pulled by something.

"You mean we broke up?"

Mu Yicheng smiled, "It's not a breakup, it's just a temporary separation."

Zhixia was suspicious: "Why did you separate?"

Mu Yicheng was silent.

There was the sound of children playing in the park. He looked for his reputation and saw two children swinging on the swing accompanied by adults. Looking at them, he suddenly remembered the scene where he and Mei Zhixia were swinging in the park. It was he who pushed Zhixia behind and swung her high.

Time passed by every minute, and Zhixia was still waiting for Mu Yicheng's answer.

"Why did you want to separate? Is it because you went back to Korea?" She asked persistently.

It has to be said that Mu Yicheng's words aroused her interest, and she wanted to get back the lost blank memory more and more.

"No, it's just because of some reasons that we have to separate."

Mu Yicheng's ambiguous answer made Zhixia a little confused.

"Can't you tell me?"

Mu Yicheng smiled without saying a word, and put his arms around her shoulders. He thought it would be better if she didn't know some things, and she had better not remember some memories. It's good like now.
