Chapter 53
[Original text]

The world has a beginning, and it is considered the mother of the world.Once you know your mother, you will know your son again [1]; once you know your son, you will guard your mother again.Not dead.

Seqidui [2], close the door, and never work for life;

Jian Xiao is called "Ming", and Shou Rou is called "Strong".Use its light [3] to return to its brightness [4].No body disaster, it is called "attacking [5]".

[1] Son: Refers to all things in the world conceived and born by "Tao".

[2] Dui: Mouth, refers to the sense of desire.Extended to the hole.

[3] Light: The light of wisdom, here refers to the light emitted by "Ming".

[4] Ming: Self-explanation, introspection.

[5] Inherit the usual: Inherit the usual.Often, here refers to the eternal Tao.

【Analysis】

There must be an initial element in the world, that is, "Tao", which is the origin of all things.Now that you know the source, you can know all things that it conceives; now that you know all things, you should stick to the source.In this way, there is no danger of extinction for life.

If you block the senses of desire and close the door of desire, you will not be driven by desire to work hard all your life; if you open the hole of desire to achieve the things you desire, you will find it difficult to find peace throughout your life.

Those who can see subtle things clearly are called "Ming", and those who can stick to the weak are called "Strong".Use the light of inner wisdom, restore the wisdom of introspection, and don't leave disasters for yourself.This is what is called "inheriting the eternal Word".

Redeem, item also.Make the eyes not to look in vain.The door, the mouth also.Keep your mouth from lying.When a person closes his eyes and does not stare in vain, and keeps his mouth shut and does not speak in vain, then he will not work hard all his life.Open eyesight lust also.Economy, benefit also.Things that benefit lust will cause disaster and chaos.

The bud is not moved, the disaster is not seen, it is small, and it is obvious that it is clear.Stay weak and become strong day by day.Use its eyes to look outside, depending on the interests of the times.When it returns to its light inside, it will not let the spirit vent.Seeing the spirit in the memory is not a loss.People who can do this are called practicing the common way.
