I woke up with a large stretch, what a wonderful nights sleep. Micah was asleep on the floor next to me, he really was a gentleman. Maybe I would go fetch him some breakfast. Sneaking as quietly as I could I went downstairs to the cafe attached to the lodge.

"Good morning!" I greeted the hostess cheerfully.

"Good morning! What can I get for you?"

"Can I get a breakfast tray brought up to my room?"

"Of course I'll have it there in about 15 minutes."

"Thank you so much!" I paid the hostess and then quietly made my way back upstairs. After making my bed and straightening up a bit I hear a gentle knock on the door,

"Here's your breakfast."

"Thank you. " I directed the maid to put it on the table.

"Micah, breakfast is ready." I gently shook his shoulders.

"Mmph...." He groggily sat up and my eyes went wide. He was sleeping with no shirt on and as the blanket fell it revealed his tan abs. I instantly started blushing before throwing him a shirt.

"There's breakfast when you become decent" I said looking away.

"Hmm maybe I'll eat breakfast with no shirt...it could be entertaining. " He said playfully.

"Oh my goodness just get dressed!" I giggled at him.

After enjoying our breakfast we prepared the horses to continue on our journey, we were nearly to dead man's cliff. The closer we got the more nervous I became, this time with Micah had been amazing I didn't want it to end. When we got to where the horses couldnt continue anymore Micah took the harnesses off of the horses and spread out a bale of hay.

Grabbing the satchel Micah and I started the rough climb through the boulders to the edge of the cliff, Norma was right the ice was still thick here I slipped more than once.

"How are we going to descend the cliff if it's this icy?"

"Well good thing I brought rope." He smiled as he produced some rope out of his bag. Tying the rope to an old log I was the first to go down, Micah came directly after me. I shivered as we entered in the cavern, the dragon must be asleep if its this cold in here.

"Hmm that's strange. The dragon said to meet her here."

"Let's look around, it's a big cavern."

Micah started a fire and we made some torches from some sticks lying around. Lighting the way, we explored the cave. Gorgeous jewels sparkled from the walls the deeper we went the more beautiful it became. Soon I stepped in something warm and wet, reaching down with the torch I saw the red pool of blood. My heart started to race, I followed the bloody trail and to my horror I saw her. The mighty red dragon lay heaving with several arrows protruding out of her magnificent body.

"Dragon?!"

"RUN CHILD!!"
