A Race to Melt Hearts

A day to remember indeed.

He brought me to different tourist spots in and out of the city. I don't know what spoiled food he's eaten out earlier.

We've been through different stores too, buying me unnecessary things and he's throwing tantrums whenever I decline. I'm helpless, just how much money is he willing to waste? I was so tired.

But he still insisted that we make a tour in adventure city, heck he played a lot of games right there. And won tons of prices, damn he was showing off his hidden skills and beat some people out there.

The guards we brought along were dead tired bringing up and loading in everything that my brother bought. He was so hype that we haven't took notice of time. Until it was almost 1:00 a.m. when we got home.

I'm lying on my bed, when someone suddenly knock on my door.

"Come in"

He peak in, opening the door widely and head to sit on my bed. He hold my hand again.

"You must be tired, I'm sorry, this big brother of yours tired you to death" he chuckled, but I can see that he was still feeling sad. That made me wonder what's all this fun for? And why is he still sad?

"I'm not that tired, I surely did enjoy spending time with you big brother. I haven't done that for years." He suddenly pinch my cheeks.

"I know."

"Can we do that again?"

He sighed, but he didn't answer. He just look at our intertwined hands. Something was off and I don't know what I'm missing out.

"Remember, no matter what you're going through just keep in mind that you're strong and you can do it. No matter how hard it is to decide, have faith in yourself and you'll know what's wrong from right. No matter where I'll be, just keep in mind that I'll be right in your heart and I'll support you no matter what."

"I know big brother" he lean forward and drop a kiss on my forehead. I chuckled, sometimes I don't understand how this shameless brother of mine act so sweet then retarded right after.

I'm just glad with the warmth that creeps in my heart. It's good to have a family.

"I'm going, don't forget to sign those papers. I'll see you soon sister"

"Hmmm"

"I'll miss you" he kisses my hands then stand from the side and walk towards the open door.

He glance back and said "I love you" before he close the door.
