Army of True Salvation

Sheloah opened her eyes slowly. Her head started to throb as she adjusted her eyesight in the unknown environment. She felt the wind on her face as she started to support herself up.

She started examining the room. She was lying on the bed and the window was open, giving her fresh air. She tried standing up to further examine the room, but she staggered then fell on the ground, making her recall on what had happened.

'Who was he?'

Sheloah was pondering when suddenly, the door of the room opened. This made Sheloah alert so her eyes attentively shifted on the door, looking at the person entering. She saw a katana beside her and instinctively got it. She knew she did not bring hers but still, it's better to defend herself even in her weakened state, than not doing anything.

"Step back. If you get anymore closer, I'll hurt you," Sheloah threatened but her voice croaked. The mysterious guy walked slowly towards her, then knelt down, making Sheloah uneasy.

"You can't hurt me, little girl," he said as he swiftly took the katana from her hand. This made Sheloah's eyes widen.

'How can he act so quick!?'

"Let me go," Sheloah demanded and the mysterious man chucked evilly.

"Sorry, but I can't until I get the answer to my test," the guy said and Sheloah raised her brow at him.

'What test?'

Sheloah glared at the masked man in front of her. "Wait for me to regain my strength and I'll—"

The masked man swiftly moved forward, and it made Sheloah jolt backward. She hit her back on the wall and the man blocked Sheloah by trapping her in a perfectly made [1]kabe-don. He removed his gas mask, revealing his face, and he freely let the mask fall on the ground.

In front of Sheloah revealed a man with brown eyes, paired with a beautiful pointed nose and red lips. His hair was slightly brown as well, and his skin was lighter compared to other Filipinos. This made Sheloah realize that the man in front of him is not a pure Filipino by blood. He looked like a person who is half Filipino and half American.

The man in front of her smirked and it made Sheloah's heart beat fast. She was nervous and she didn't know why the guy acted this way towards her, especially when he said something to her that stunned her.

"Stay with me… and I'll keep you forever."
