While Jake was talking, he heard an imaginary applause. He was clapping himself for being to talked like that. Was he really going to gave her up?

"why were you talking about it seriously? Who was Tobias in your life?"

Maria asked him curiously.

"I'm Tobias best friend. But don't worry I never told him that I knew where you are."

Jake said instantly when he saw Maria's confused look.

"thank you so much Jake. You set your friendship aside because of us. But don't worry we're not staying her for long."

"don't worry about it. You can stay here whenever you wanted. Just please give Tobias a second chance."

"do you knew something?"

Maria asked him more curious that before.

"I'm not in the position to tell you."

Jake said seriously. He felt depressed but he can't let Maria saw it.

"okay, I'll be heading home now. I just came here to saw my little angels. I'll just kissed them goodbye and I'll be out."

Jake mean every words he said. It was really a goodbye and he will be out of their lives from now on!

He walked towards the room where Maria and the twin's sharing. He walked slowly afraid to woken up the sleeping angels.

Jake stared at them a little longer and kissed them gently but lovingly. They were his, his! His heart trembled with so much hurt!

He can't be selfish!

He doesn't want to go home and went back to his plain life!

Jake even dreamed that when they grew older and can be able to talk, they would call him daddy. They will go to the mall together as a happy family!

All of that vanished, when he felt his guilt slowly consuming him! Why does a person has to have a conscience?! Was it better if he don't?!

Jake quickly left the room and stepped out from the house. And he stepped out from their lives! He didn't bothered to look for Maria, he was afraid that he will tell things he shouldn't!

He drove his car with great speed towards Tobias company. He was ready to gave his way for his idiot best friend!

When he arrived, he quickly sent Tobias a message that he was going to meet him inside his private office. He frustratedly went inside his office and waited their patiently.

Tobias came after a few minutes he sent the message. Jake stood up abruptly and look at Tobias seriously.

"I have it."

Tobias eyes went wide and told him in a shaky voice.

"let's go inside my private office."

Jake took out from his suit a paper and handed it towards Tobias. He was eyeing his reactions. He needed to make sure that he won't regret his decisions!

Tobias opened it slowly, and when he did his eyes bulged out from their sockets! He unbelievably shed tears!

Jake saw agony in Tobias eyes. Was he not a good friend to him?!
