Everything else is fine, but writing a letter to Jerry when he was at Hogwarts is out of the question! I can't manage my time like that.

So Jerry wrote Fleur a long letter for the first time, dissuading her from having this idea.

In the letter, Jerry reasoned with her and appealed to her emotions, explaining that he would be very busy with school and would not have time to write to her, even bringing up the time difference between England and France.

No matter how outrageous your excuse is, as long as the other person believes it!

In the end, Jerry successfully won over the other party with his sincere tone, simple words, and honest manner!

"Boom! Boom! Boom!"

Rozier knocked and entered.

"Mrs. Rosier, is there anything I can help you with so late?"

Rozier then took a silver necklace out of his pocket and handed it to Jerry.

“This is…” Jerry took it and looked at Rozier with a puzzled expression.

"This was given to me by your mother; it saved my life back then. Now, I'm giving it to you in the hope that it will bring you good luck!"

Jerry examined the necklace closely; it was made of an unknown metal, delicate yet sturdy.

The pendant is an exquisite relief of a Deathly Hallows, densely engraved with runes, showcasing its exceptional craftsmanship and extraordinary value in every detail.

Jerry was somewhat surprised. In fact, he had thought about it after arriving at the manor. It was normal for his parents to know Rozier, but he did not expect that his mother would have such a good relationship with Rozier.

"Madam, may I tell you about my parents?"

Upon seeing the sadness in Rozier's eyes, Jerry immediately put on a longing expression and gazed at her affectionately.

At this moment, Jerry's acting skills reached their peak, his eyes filled with concern and warmth, as if silently expressing his longing for his parents.

“I’m sorry, Jerry. Since Lord Grindelwald hasn’t mentioned this to you, I can’t reveal it to you without his permission.” With that, he quickly turned and left the room.

Jerry: "..."

The next morning, Jerry packed his bags and said goodbye to the UMNO members.

Unlike their lukewarm attitude when Jerry first arrived at the manor, they have now begun to recognize and accept him.

After bidding farewell to everyone, Dumbledore arrived as promised not long after.

"Jerry, is everything ready? We should set off!" Dumbledore asked gently.

Jerry, carrying his small suitcase, nodded.

“So, our first destination is—Diagon Alley!” Dumbledore said with a smile. Then he took Jerry’s hand, took out a golden Portkey shaped like a wine glass, and with a “whoosh,” the two of them disappeared from the spot.

Outside the Leaky Cauldron in London, two figures, one old and one young, suddenly appeared. They were none other than Dumbledore and Jerry.

"Let's go, Jerry, we have a lot to buy, especially the Defense Against the Dark Arts textbook! I heard there's a long line to buy it!"

"It's all because you chose a low-quality consumable," Jerry thought to himself.

After the two entered the bar, Dumbledore greeted Tom, the bar owner who was wiping the tables.

“Professor Dumbledore, welcome! Good heavens, is this Mr. Jerry Green?” Tom greeted them warmly as they entered, then looked at Jerry and said excitedly.

Jerry scratched his head and looked at Dumbledore in confusion, wondering when he had become so famous.

"Two people are very famous in the British wizarding world during the summer holidays: one is the dark wizard Blackwing, and the other is you, who earned the Order of Merlin, Class 3, in your first year!"

Jerry: !?

After passing through the Leaky Cauldron and arriving at Diagon Alley, Jerry gained a completely new understanding of his fame.

"is it him?"

"The hair color is different, but the face is the same as in the photo!"

"That's right, it's Jerry Green!"

As soon as Jerry entered Diagon Alley, he attracted a lot of attention, and whispers could be heard from those around him from time to time.

"Jerry, how does it feel to be famous?" Dumbledore asked with a smile as he looked at the gloomy-faced Jerry.

"Not so great, Professor. Although I'm young, I've only received a third-class medal. It shouldn't be worth this much attention!"

"Jerry, you'll find out why when you buy a copy of the Daily Prophet later."

"Alright alright!"

Just as Jerry was still fretting, the wall next to them suddenly began to move, turning into a door, and Lucius and Draco walked out.

While the door in the wall was still open, Jerry glanced at the dimly lit street behind them and realized that Knockdown Alley must be behind the wall!

"Headmaster Dumbledore, I didn't expect to run into you here!" Lucius greeted him before turning his attention to Jerry.

"This must be Mr. Jerry Green! I was in such a rush last time that I didn't have a chance to thank you for saving Draco!"

“You’re welcome, Mr. Malfoy!” Jerry shrugged.

Dumbledore frowned and said, "Mr. Malfoy, as Draco Malfoy's headmaster, I feel it's necessary to remind you what's behind the walls! It's not good to let Draco access these things so early!"

"I've learned something, Headmaster Dumbledore!" Lucius said, then left with Draco. However, judging from their arrogant expressions, they didn't take Dumbledore's words seriously.

"Draco, is Jerry Green, whom we just met, from your house? What is his relationship with Dumbledore?"

“Yes, Jerry Green is indeed a Slytherin student, but what is his relationship with Dumbledore?” Draco looked at his father in confusion, not understanding why he would ask such a question.

Upon hearing his son's words, Lucius frowned, lost in thought.

After a moment, he asked, "What's your relationship with him like?"

"Not bad, but Dad, he's a Mudblood!" Draco thought about Jerry's methods and felt a little embarrassed.

"Draco, remember, although our Malfoy family believes in pure-bloodedness, everything we do is based on our own interests. So when you're at school, you need to get along well with him, understand? It will be good for your future!"

Although he didn't quite understand what his father was saying, Draco nodded in agreement after seeing Lucius's serious expression.

……

"Professor, what's behind the wall?" Jerry pointed to the place where the Malfoys had just come from.

"Knockdown Alley, but Jerry, that's not a place for you right now!"

"Don't worry!" Jerry patted his chest and assured him.

Seeing Jerry's expression, Dumbledore sighed helplessly.

“Professor, I’ve heard Neville say that Lucius Malfoy was once a Death Eater. Why wasn’t he imprisoned in Azkaban?”

"Because there is no evidence to prove that he genuinely wanted to become a Death Eater!"

Jerry almost burst out laughing when he heard Dumbledore's words. "Professor, the wizarding world has plenty of ways to get someone to tell the truth!"

For some reason, after hearing Jerry's words, Dumbledore gave Jerry a deep look and then said, "Jerry, the Ministry of Magic has its own rules."

“Remember, son, there’s a reason why rules exist. Gellert and I paid a heavy price for understanding this too late!”

Jerry outwardly nodded in agreement with Dumbledore's words, but inwardly he scoffed at them.

Rules are made by the strong and obeyed by the weak!

……

“Let’s go to Gringotts first!” Jerry pulled out the key that Grindelwald had given him and waved it in front of Dumbledore.

"Okay, but Jerry, you might be disappointed. It's all been squandered, there's nothing good left!"

The two arrived at Gringotts. Jerry handed the key to a goblin on the counter. After the goblin carefully checked it and confirmed that there was no problem, he told another goblin named Gripping Ring to take Jerry and the other to Vault 159.

The two followed closely behind the pull ring and stepped into a deep stone corridor. The blazing torches illuminated the dim space. The stone corridor, like a narrow chasm, wound its way down the steep terrain.

As far as the eye could see, a railway line stretched out beneath their feet. The ringer gave a soft whistle, and immediately a small cart sped by, the crisp sound of wheels on the rails echoing across the tracks.

"Get in the car!"

Once everyone was seated, the car sped off like an arrow along the winding road. The cold air whistled past, and Jerry strained his eyes, trying to catch a glimpse of Gringotts' fire dragon. Unfortunately, the car didn't get close; he could only catch a distant glance.

Before long, the car stopped in front of a small door near the bottom passage. Jerry and Dumbledore got out of the car by pulling the ring and came to the door.

As the door was unlocked, a thick plume of green smoke billowed out from the crack. Once the smoke dissipated, Jerry stared at the vault and gasped.

There were no mountains of Galon, nor countless magical materials. The empty vault contained only scattered Galon on the ground and junk materials that Jerry usually hesitated to bend down to pick up when they fell on the ground.

Is this...is this really Dumbledore and Grindelwald's coffers?! How crazy were you two when you were young?! And you left me with this pittance?!

Jerry picked up the Galleons from the ground and counted them. There were only fifty or so in total, not enough to pay off Gringotts' loan!

Old Deng! You only have so little money, it's hard for me to do anything for you!

Chapter 83 The Alchemist's Son

"Professor, have you used up everything here? Do you have any other vaults?"

“Jerry, it’s been many years since I’ve been here! There were indeed quite a few valuable materials that Gellert and I had collected in the vault before.” Dumbledore shook his head and then strolled around the now empty vault.

"You two were really reckless when you were young! You squandered so much!"

"Haha, Gellert and I are both pretty crazy!"

Jerry picked up the Galleon from the ground, wiped off the dust, and put it into the Money Pouch of the Traceless Extension Charm. Even a small mosquito is still meat!

“Professor, can you tell me about my parents?” Jerry asked, looking at Dumbledore who was standing in the vault, still reminiscing about the past.

"Jerry, didn't you already guess? After all, the book has already been given to you!"

"How is this possible!" Upon hearing Dumbledore's words, Jerry's pupils contracted, and he muttered to himself incredulously.

From the moment Jerry first saw the photos of his parents, noticing their appearance and the names on the back of the photos, he began to speculate about their origins.

At first, Jerry thought his parents were two descendants of the Dumbledore and Grindelwald families, perhaps simply adopted by Dumbledore and Grindelwald from a young age and given names with profound meanings by the two.

It wasn't until Dumbledore handed him "Forbidden Alchemy" and Jerry looked through it that he came to his current guess.

His parents were created through alchemy!

When Jerry first had this thought, he thought he was going crazy, but he never expected...

No wonder Dumbledore would rather open the forbidden book section to me than easily hand over "Forbidden Alchemy" to me!
