Jerry's breathing became a little rapid at this moment, because it was clearly stated in "Forbidden Alchemy" that the two could not have offspring.

Dumbledore sighed. "Gellert probably told you that there are some things you have to find the answers to yourself. And it's not that we don't want to tell you, but neither Gellert nor I know the exact answers. Telling you wouldn't do us any good; it would only make things worse for you!"

After hearing Dumbledore's words, Jerry was unwilling, but he understood Dumbledore's character and knew that he would not get an answer today.

After leaving the vault, Jerry paid off last year's loan and then left Gringotts.

After coming out, Jerry immediately ran to the store across the street and bought a copy of the Daily Prophet.

The first thing Jerry saw when he picked up the newspaper was the headline: "On the Incompetence of the French Ministry of Magic!"

Below the title, the page was filled with lengthy text brimming with contempt for the French Ministry of Magic. After reading it carefully, Jerry realized that the article was practically an insult to the French magical community in every way imaginable!

Jerry turned another page, and a report caught his eye.

When did I give an interview? And as Blackwing?

Jerry read the entire report and was immediately enraged.

The entire report portrays him directly as a dark, twisted, and cruel black wizard!

Jerry glanced at the reporter's name, Rita Skeeter, and thought, "Just you wait! You bug, I, Blackwing, will remember this grudge. You'll get what's coming to you later!"

Jerry flipped through the newspaper again and found a report about himself, Jerry Green, published by the Ministry of Magic.

This report is the complete opposite of Rita Skeeter's report, portraying Jerry as a sunny, righteous, and friendly little wizard.

"Hmm, not bad! That's more like it!" Jerry nodded in satisfaction. After reading this report, Jerry realized that he actually possessed so many valuable qualities!

How come I never noticed this before! It seems I was too conservative back then!

The author later praised Jerry so much that he himself became a little embarrassed, and the logic of his praise even became completely nonsensical!

Jerry: I didn't understand it, but I was deeply shocked!

After putting the newspaper away, Jerry flipped through some old issues of the newspaper in the store.

Outside the store, Dumbledore was carrying items that Jerry would need after the start of school.

"Here you are, Professor!"

Jerry ran out of the store, took the items from Dumbledore, and checked them. He found that Dumbledore had already bought everything except Lockhart's book.

"It seems like it's Lockhart's book signing today. There are just too many people at Flourish and Blotts. Jerry, we might have to wait a while!" Dumbledore wiped the sweat from his brow.

"Professor, it's alright. Let's find a place to rest for a bit!"

Jerry and Dumbledore went to the ice cream shop across the street from Flourish and Blotts, sat down, and ordered two strawberry butter ice creams.

"Jerry, all your friends are in the bookstore. Why don't you go say hello? Miss Granger seems to be there too!"

"Never mind, I'll wait a little longer!"

Jerry was about to get up and head to Flourish and Blotts, but as soon as he stood up, he saw Lockhart, that good-for-nothing, taking pictures with Harry through the bookstore's glass window. Considering his current popularity, Jerry sat back down.

"Professor, I still don't understand why you chose Lockhart. What can he teach us? I don't think he can even perform a disarming spell properly! Besides, I've heard that the position of Defense Against the Dark Arts professor is cursed by Voldemort. Aren't you afraid something will happen to him?"

Dumbledore chuckled and took a big bite of ice cream, then said, "Jerry, reality leaves you with no choice. And don't underestimate Mr. Lockhart; he's dealt with female ghosts, vampires, and werewolves!"

Jerry looked at the smiling Dumbledore and for a moment couldn't tell whether he was praising him or mocking him!

Speaking of Lao Deng, was this supply of consumables done intentionally or accidentally?

Chapter 84 Forget it, I'm tired, let's just destroy it!

"Hermione!" Jerry's gaze fell on the Grangers. Seeing them come out of Flourish and Blotts carrying a pile of newly bought books, he waved to them.

Hearing Jerry's familiar voice, Hermione's heart skipped a beat. She looked up sharply and immediately saw Jerry standing across the street. A surprised smile instantly bloomed on her face, and the joy she felt was almost overflowing from her eyes.

Without a moment's hesitation, she shoved the books she was holding into her arms at her father, then immediately turned and ran towards Jerry. Her steps were light and powerful, like a joyful fawn running through the forest.

Mr. Granger: ? ? ?

"Oh my god! Jerry, is that really you? When did you go back to England? I thought I wouldn't see you until the end of summer vacation! I..."

Hermione ran to Jerry's side, so excited that she seemed to have endless things to say and countless questions to ask; her emotions were about to explode.

Seeing Hermione's excited state, Jerry couldn't help but laugh. He handed Hermione an ice cream and said gently, "Slow down! Slow down! Hermione, don't get so excited that you're stuttering."

"Mr. Granger, Madam, it's been a long time!"

Upon seeing Hermione's parents approaching from a distance, Jerry immediately greeted them politely.

"Long time no see, Jerry! Did your hair change around Christmas last time?" Mrs. Granger replied immediately and warmly, smiling as she looked at Jerry.

In stark contrast to Mrs. Granger's enthusiasm was Hermione's father, Mr. Granger. He stood to the side, carrying a large stack of books, staring coldly at Jerry.

When did I offend Mr. Granger? Jerry wondered to himself.

"I didn't expect you to already know, Madam. But I'm really sorry about last time!" Jerry touched his nose and replied somewhat awkwardly.

"Boy, do you know how upset Hermione was last time!" Mr. Granger was still holding the thick stack of books, but his dissatisfaction was hard to hide.

Jerry's heart skipped a beat. He looked at Mr. Granger's serious face and was momentarily at a loss for what to do.

“I’m so sorry, sir!” Jerry replied softly, his tone sincere.

“Dad, didn’t I explain everything to you last time? You can’t blame Jerry entirely!” Hermione looked at Mrs. Granger for help after hearing her father’s displeased words.

Mrs. Granger also sensed the awkward atmosphere. She went to Jerry's side and gently comforted him, "It's alright, child. I'm just glad you're okay! Hermione often talks about you when she's home, and she explained what happened last time to us."

"Really!" Jerry breathed a sigh of relief upon hearing this, glanced at Hermione standing beside him, clinging to his arm, and expressed his gratitude.

Hello everyone!

At a moment when the atmosphere was slightly awkward, Dumbledore calmly walked out of the ice cream shop, smiled and greeted everyone, skillfully defusing the delicate situation.

Dumbledore's appearance was like a timely rain, giving Jerry a sigh of relief.

"Mom and Dad, let me introduce you. This is our Hogwarts Headmaster, Professor Dumbledore!" Hermione was clearly surprised by Dumbledore's appearance, but she quickly regained her composure and introduced him to her parents.

Dumbledore smiled and nodded in greeting, his eyes conveying warmth and friendliness. His brief conversation with the Grangers eased the tense atmosphere and made the room more pleasant.

Sensing the change in the atmosphere, Jerry mentally gave Deng a thumbs up! With your strong skills and eloquence, no wonder Fudge was always afraid you'd take his place!

“Jerry, your friends are just ahead, go find them! You don’t need to stay here with us!” Dumbledore said, winking at Jerry.

Jerry understood immediately and pulled Hermione away from the area.

Jerry didn't go looking for Harry and the others. Instead, he held Hermione's hand, enjoying ice cream and strolling along the bustling street. The dazzling array of goods in the shop windows caught their attention, and they stopped to admire them from time to time.

When the two arrived at the Ee-la-Owl Shop, Jerry looked at the owls inside and paused.

Hermione noticed Jerry's odd behavior and shook his arm, asking, "What's wrong, Jerry? Do you want to buy an owl? But don't you already have Tom?"

“No, I just suddenly remembered something,” Jerry said, shaking his head. “I left Tom in France!”

The night before leaving, Jerry gave the letter he had written to Fleur's owl, and Tom followed after him. At the time, Jerry didn't pay any attention to it, thinking that it would fly back soon, and then... and then he forgot about it!

"What should we do, Jerry? Will Tom be able to find you?"

Jerry patted Hermione's hand and said, "Don't worry! Tom is smart, he'll find it!"

At this moment, in the waves of the English Channel, the plump Tom lay wearily on a small reef, his wings spread limply, his eyes vacant, and he was panting heavily!

After Jerry and Hermione continued strolling around for a while, they sat down under the shade of a tree.

"Hermione, I brought you a present!" Jerry pulled a delicate little gift box from his pocket and handed it to her.

"Thank you, Jerry!"

Upon opening the gift box, a quill pen that looked quite valuable lay inside.

“Take it, Hermione!” Jerry said, noticing her hesitation.
