Harry and Ron: "..."
Before Harry and Ron could speak, Hermione gently tugged at Jerry's sleeve and handed him a small, round mirror that she usually used. Then she whispered a reminder to Jerry about his eyes.
"Merlin's underwear!"
Jerry was startled by his reflection in the mirror; why were his eyes so "bright"?

"Are you really alright? Shall we go see Mrs. Pomfrey?"
Jerry looked at Hermione, whose face was somewhat pale, and shook his head. He gazed thoughtfully at the familiar light emanating from his own eyes in the mirror.
Although Jerry is not yet certain of the exact reason, he is certain that the strange changes in his eyes are related to the Guardian Charm.
From the moment Jerry and Professor Flitwick first summoned the Raven Guardian, they noticed its unusual nature; its eyes were almost identical to Jerry's, radiating a cold, ominous light.
As the level of the Guardian Charm increased, apart from the summoned Guardian becoming more and more powerful, Jerry did not find anything different about his strange Guardian compared to the Guardians of others.
Later, by chance, Jerry noticed that his eyes would always change when he used his magic at full power. But the intense red light tonight was unprecedented.
"It's just glowing, why are you all so scared?" Jerry asked the group curiously. After all, compared to the bizarre and outrageous things that happen in the magical world, this was nothing serious!
"I... I don't know either. Looking into your eyes now always makes me feel uncomfortable and uncomfortable!" Harry swallowed, lowered his head, and avoided Jerry's gaze.
Ron nodded, his eyes darting around.
“Jerry, I feel the same way,” Hermione agreed with Harry. “It’s like… unease, oppression, and it makes you think of scary things!”
No wonder Flory left in such a hurry! It seems he was affected too. Jerry thought to himself.
Holding the mirror, looking at himself in it, and blinking, Jerry didn't feel any discomfort. If Hermione hadn't pointed it out, he wouldn't have even noticed the change in his eyes.
"Jerry, can your eyes ever recover?"
"It should be possible!" Jerry replied with a hint of uncertainty. Previous recovery processes were extremely rapid, happening in the blink of an eye, but this time the reaction was unprecedentedly strong, and he had no idea how long it would take to return to normal.
"So what do we do now?" Harry asked, glancing at Neville, who had fainted from fright at Jerry.
"It's getting late tonight, everyone should head back to their dorms!"
As soon as Jerry finished speaking, Harry and Ron immediately helped Neville up and quickly left the place.
"Am I that scary?" Jerry looked at Harry and the others as they hurriedly left, feeling quite annoyed.
Don't be afraid! I'm a fucking good guy!
Chapter 144 The Mysterious Severed Arm
In the Slytherin boys' dormitory, Jerry stood in front of the mirror, carefully examining the changes in his eyes. Compared to last night, the terrifying light in his eyes had faded considerably, and the sense of dread had significantly diminished.
"What a nuisance!" Jerry frowned and muttered to himself. Deep down, Jerry didn't feel any resistance to this strange power, but if it slipped out of his control, that would be a different story.
Control brings strength, loss of control brings weakness, and lack of control leads to chaos.
"I'll have to find something to block it for now!" Jerry rummaged through the drawers of his desk and finally picked up the anti-demon glasses that he and Hermione had bought at Devi's and Bance's shops in Hogsmeade.
"That's kind of funny!" Jerry thought to himself, looking at himself in the mirror wearing the anti-demon glasses.
……
Inside the Great Hall of Hogwarts, Jerry had just walked in from the side corridor when he bumped into the Malfoy trio.
"Jerry?" Malfoy rubbed his eyes, then stared strangely at the glasses on Jerry's face.
Don't laugh! You absolutely mustn't laugh! Malfoy pinched his thigh hard, constantly warning himself that if Jerry found out he was laughing at him, he'd be in big trouble!
"You bumpkin, don't you even recognize the anti-demon glasses?" Jerry cursed angrily. How could he possibly miss the little tricks of Malfoy and his companions?
Pushing the three of them aside, he walked straight to the long table and waited for the house-elf to bring him breakfast.
In fact, it wasn't just Malfoy and his two companions; many students in the hall noticed Jerry's appearance today. Previously, Jerry was known for his impeccable attire, extraordinary bearing, and noble and elegant demeanor.
But Jerry today is a bit of a contrast!
The strange glasses on his face made him look somewhat...humorous and witty.
Jerry ignored the strange looks from the other students and buried his head in his oatmeal porridge. He estimated that the change in his eyes would be restored by dinner time at the latest.
Not long after, Hermione walked over with dark circles under her eyes, looking listless and sleep-deprived.
Jerry waved his hand in front of her eyes and teased, "Even if you didn't sleep all night, you shouldn't be like this, right?"
“I’ve been having nightmares ever since I got home last night!” Hermione said wearily, sitting down on the chair next to her and shaking her head with a wry smile.
Jerry paused, his spoon bobbing in his hand. A nightmare? Could it be related to his eyes again? This is a bit eerie!
"What did you dream about that scared you like that?" Jerry scratched his head and asked curiously.
"Oh, it's nothing!" Hermione's pale face suddenly flushed slightly upon hearing Jerry's words. "I just dreamt that I failed my exam, got the worst grades, and was expelled from Hogwarts! That's all..."
"This can be considered a nightmare?" Jerry asked Hermione, who was looking down, with suspicion, clearly not believing her.
“Really, believe it or not, I believe it!” Hermione said firmly, her tone certain. “And Harry and the others are in about the same condition as me, Neville seems to be a bit worse. I just ran into them in the common room; Harry and Ron were comforting Neville.”
"Really!" Jerry looked at the breakfast on the table and said thoughtfully, "Terrifying memories! Could I have triggered Neville's memories of his parents last night?"
A moment later, Harry, Ron, and Neville walked into the hall looking listless. Jerry looked up and carefully examined them, noticing that although all three had dark circles under their eyes, Ron looked much more energetic than Harry and Neville.
"Are you all alright?" Jerry asked softly.
“It’s nothing!” Ron replied casually. Harry shook his head slightly, forcing a smile. Neville, on the other hand, had been sitting in his chair since entering the hall, head down and silent.
"Eat something first, it's Snape's Potions class later!" Jerry didn't offer any words of comfort, after all, there were some things they would have to go through sooner or later, and if they couldn't get out of the shadows after a while, then Dumbledore would have to give them some pep talks.
During Potions class, Jerry found a corner, took off his glasses, squinted, and lowered his head, trying not to scare the others.
“I knew all along that Father would fire Dumbledore.” Malfoy made no attempt to hide his smugness as he boasted to Crabbe and Goyle, “I tell you, he thinks Dumbledore is the worst headmaster in the history of the school. Now we finally have hope of having a decent headmaster, someone who doesn’t want the Chamber of Secrets to close.”
“Mr. Headmaster,” Malfoy said loudly to Snape, “sir, why don’t you apply for the position of Headmaster? If you do, my father will certainly vote for you.”
Snape, who was picking a fight with Harry's cauldron with a medicine spoon, heard Malfoy's loud commotion but did not stop him. Instead, he tilted his head back smugly, a faint smile involuntarily appearing on his lips.
Harry rolled his eyes at Snape and Malfoy's smug looks, and was so disgusted by them that he almost vomited into his cauldron.
Jerry, meanwhile, huddled in a corner, quietly watching the show. He was now hoping Malfoy would make a bigger commotion. If he weren't afraid Snape would notice his unusual behavior, Jerry might not mind adding fuel to the fire, ideally getting the two sides to fight.
As for whether Dumbledore will be dismissed and no longer serve as the headmaster of Hogwarts, well, unless Dumbledore dies.
Right now, Dumbledore is playing in the sand in Egypt with his old flame!
……
Luxor, located on the right bank of the Nile River 700 kilometers south of Cairo, Egypt, is an ancient city in central-eastern Egypt. In ancient times, it had a famous name—Thebes.

Inside a mud-brick building not far from the city, people were coming and going. This was the Luxor branch of the Egyptian Ministry of Magic, and its staff were mainly curse breakers, whose job was to break curses on ancient tombs or other ruins.
Beside the building is a long street paved with stones, lined with various shops and restaurants made of mud bricks, their walls carved with ancient totems. There aren't many wizards in Luxor, so most of the wizards on the street are people who come here to work or travel.
In a room at the Alabaka Bar at the street entrance, Grindelwald stood with his arms crossed, his eyes fixed on the fireplace in the corner. He looked very different from his former self.
Grindelwald wore a light-colored cotton-linen shirt with the cuffs rolled up, and matching cotton-linen trousers with the legs tied with rope to keep sand out. At that moment, he looked nothing like a wizard, but rather like an explorer traversing the desert.
"Albus, you've finally come!"
With a whoosh, Grindelwald heard a flicker of flame in the fireplace, and Dumbledore appeared in his robes.
Before Grindelwald could give Dumbledore a long-awaited hug, the fire in the fireplace was reignited, and an elderly figure carrying a trunk appeared in the room.
Upon recognizing the person who approached, Grindelwald's face immediately darkened.
“Ah! I remember you, you’re that… animal keeper!” Grindelwald looked at Newt with a hint of murderous intent in his cold eyes.
“Mr. Grindelwald… hello!” Newt wiped the cold sweat from his forehead and gave an awkward smile. He never imagined he would one day be working with Grindelwald; life is truly unpredictable…
“Alright, Gellert, I called Newt here to help,” Dumbledore said, coming to Newt's rescue. “Tell us what you’ve found! What did you find that made you rush me here?”
Grindelwald gave Newt a cold laugh and gestured for the two to follow him. Once in the adjacent study, Grindelwald retrieved a long box from under the desk and handed it to Dumbledore, gesturing for him to open it.
"This is..." Dumbledore opened the box with both hands, and the contents immediately came into view.
In an instant, his gaze sharpened, and an uncontrollable rage burned within him. The atmosphere in the study tensed, as if an enraged lion was about to erupt. Dumbledore's aura suddenly intensified; he stared at the fallen object, his eyes filled with astonishment and fury.
Newt was also startled by Dumbledore's sudden reaction. He looked down at the box that had fallen to the ground and was shocked to find that it contained a withered arm.
The arm wasn't long; it was a left arm, which had been cleanly severed from the shoulder by someone using some kind of magic spell or a sharp weapon, I don't know.
There was a black mark the size of a fingernail on the inside of the severed arm near the wrist. Newt recognized the meaning of the mark; Dumbledore had told him that it was the mark of an apostle.
“Albus, calm down! Whose arm is this?” Newt asked curiously.
“Jerry?” Dumbledore leaned against the wall, the cold sensation calming him down slightly, and then looked at Grindelwald.
“I’m not sure either!” Grindelwald shook his head. “Although it looks very similar, extremely similar, I don’t think it is!”
“Take a close look at the length of his arm. It’s shorter than Jerry’s arm right now, Albus. You should know what I mean!” Grindelwald continued.
Dumbledore nodded. Grindelwald's words had calmed him down. Jerry was unharmed, which meant this wasn't his current arm. It couldn't be from the future either; aside from the possibility that the Time-Turner could handle such a long period of time travel, even in the future, Jerry's arm should be longer than this.
"So, Gellert, is this why you summoned me?" Dumbledore calmed down and let out a long sigh of relief.
“That’s right,” Grindelwald said with an unusually serious expression. “I found this severed arm on the outskirts of the Karnak Temple. Unfortunately, I couldn’t break the seal on the ruins by myself, which is why I was in such a hurry to find you. I believe the answers we need are inside.”
Dumbledore picked up the box that had fallen to the ground, stared at it for a moment, then closed the lid. He frowned and said firmly, "Let's go now! I want to find out what's going on as soon as possible!"
Chapter 145 The Tide of the Living Dead
At Karnak Temple, a sharp "whoosh" cut through the air, and the figures of three centenarians suddenly appeared. However, the tourists passing by were not shocked or shouted at the sudden appearance of the three. Even as the crowd passed by them, they would subconsciously look away and shift their attention elsewhere.
"The Muggles won't notice us!" Grindelwald said, pointing in a certain direction. "That's our destination."
Dumbledore and Newt looked in the direction he pointed and saw a majestic obelisk standing tall and straight, looking particularly solemn in the twilight.
"Are you sure this is the place?" Newt asked doubtfully after circling the obelisk once. Were the people at the local Ministry of Magic all brainless? They hadn't even found the entrance to the protective seal in such an obvious place!
Grindelwald ignored Newt and instead moved quickly and purposefully around the obelisk, tapping the mud bricks on the four sides of it a dozen times with his wand.
After Grindelwald struck the mud brick in front of him one last time, the side of the obelisk facing the three suddenly changed material. The originally rough surface of the obelisk became exceptionally smooth, its surface like a mirror, clearly reflecting the figures of the three.
