"Who exactly are you?" Voldemort stared intently at Jerry, his mind racing as he tried to guess his identity. Could it be that the Gaunt family had other descendants besides himself?
"Jerry, why can you speak Parseltongue too?" Harry's mind was in a mess, and he could only hold Ginny and get away from Voldemort and Jerry.
“Foolish Potter, this isn’t Parseltongue, it’s Parseltongue’s ability. Do you know what monster attacked the students at the school? It’s the Basilisk. Anyone who looks directly into the Basilisk’s eyes will die, and anyone who sees the Basilisk’s eyes through a mirror or other medium will be petrified, just like the students who were attacked at the school,” Voldemort stared at Jerry’s face, his mind replaying the members of the Gaunt family.
“The Basilisk won’t attack people unless summoned by Parseltongue. Ginny Weasley was attacked by the Basilisk, and she even looked directly into its eyes. If I hadn’t saved her, she would have died long ago!”
"Now you can guess which of the three Parseltongues at Hogwarts summoned the Basilisk and attacked Ginny Weasley!"
Jerry ignored Voldemort's provocative words. He genuinely suspected that Voldemort's brain had been licked by a troll in the Albanian forest!
Jerry needs to summon a basilisk to kill a newly enrolled wizard? Who does he think he is! Ginny Weasley doesn't even deserve it!
Whether Harry believed it or not, Jerry didn't care either, because the result was the same: in the end, under the effect of the Forgetfulness Curse, he would remember nothing!
Chapter 150 Uncontrollable Curse
If Voldemort's version is true, and the Basilisk attacked Ginny Weasley, then who summoned the Basilisk? Parsley isn't some common ability!
It wasn't Jerry, and it probably wasn't Voldemort either, since saving someone while making direct eye contact with the Basilisk isn't easy.
No wonder Voldemort's soul was so weak back then! Jerry thought to himself, recalling the situation when Riddle's diary came into his hands.
It wasn't him, nor Voldemort, so could it be Harry? Jerry glanced at Harry, who was standing awkwardly next to Ginny with a flushed face, and immediately shook his head. He was definitely overthinking it! With Harry's Parseltongue ability, let alone controlling a Basilisk, he was lucky if he could even understand Parseltongue!
Jerry pondered for a long time, his thoughts unconsciously drifting to the Apostles. Could it really be those insects again? But they could have just taken the diary, why did they have to go through the trouble of attacking Ginny Weasley?
Voldemort sighed with slight disappointment as he watched Harry's gaze constantly shifting between himself and Jerry.
"Harry Potter, I'm very disappointed with our meeting tonight. Those ridiculous fools and Mudbloods outside are calling you the savior. I'm curious, how did a baby over a decade ago defeat the greatest wizard of all time?"
“You’re not,” Harry said breathlessly, his voice filled with hatred.
"Albus Dumbledore is the greatest wizard in the world!"
"What did you say? Dumbledore? I only used the diary and Ginny to kick Dumbledore out of Hogwarts!" Voldemort said through gritted teeth. At this moment, the smile on his face had completely disappeared, replaced by a very ugly expression.
"Alright, alright! I'm not here to listen to you two reminisce!" Jerry's languid voice interrupted Voldemort and Harry's conversation, and then he walked straight toward Ginny Weasley.
"Wait a minute, Jerry..." Before Harry could finish speaking, Jerry waved his wand, and Harry was sent flying as if struck by a powerful force, crashing straight into a stone pillar.
Harry groaned as he landed, and before he could recover from the pain, flames suddenly erupted from the top of the nearest pillar.
A deep red phoenix suddenly descended from the sky, its claws tightly gripping a tattered hat.
A second later, the phoenix flew directly towards Harry. It tossed the tattered Sorting Hat from its claws to Harry's feet.
“Fox!” Harry shouted excitedly. He had seen this magical bird in the headmaster’s office; it was Fox, Dumbledore’s phoenix.
Harry thought Dumbledore had sent Fawkes to rescue them, so he ignored his pain, got up, grabbed Ginny, and reached out to grab the phoenix in the air.
However, to his surprise, after Fox threw the Sorting Hat at his feet, he flew to Jerry's side without looking back and finally landed heavily on his shoulder.
Harry held the familiar Sorting Hat, looking at the phoenix on Jerry's shoulder, filled with confusion, not understanding what it meant!
Seeing this, Voldemort cursed Harry as a good-for-nothing in his heart before quietly approaching the giant statue of Salazar Slytherin, preparing to summon the Basilisk.
Jerry had noticed Voldemort's little tricks long ago, but he didn't stop him, since the Basilisk was his purpose for coming here tonight.
Jerry glanced furtively at the Sorting Hat in Harry's hand, a surge of joy rising within him. He hadn't expected such an unexpected bonus tonight.
Basilisk, Horcruxes, Gryffindor swords—I didn't have a choice before, but now I want them all!
Voldemort walked up to the statue, opened his mouth, and hissed.
Jerry looked up at the statue, and Slytherin's huge stone face began to move. Its mouth gradually opened, eventually forming a huge, dark hole.
Before long, everyone heard a hissing sound coming from the statue's mouth.
Jerry quickly lowered his head and leaned against the dark wall of the secret room.
Harry thought of the Earth Demon, and he was so frightened that he closed his eyes tightly and backed away.
"Kill him!" Voldemort hissed as he pointed at Jerry.
Jerry gripped his wand tightly, highly alert for the basilisk's impending attack. However, the basilisk's gaze swept between Jerry and Harry a few times, then, as if it hadn't heard Voldemort's words, it turned and hissed as it charged triumphantly toward Harry.
Jerry: ...
I never expected this big snake to be such a bully who picks on the weak and fears the strong!
"Idiot! Forget Harry Potter, go kill Jerry Green!"
Harry squinted and saw the basilisk moving towards him through the huge shadow on the ground. He was so frightened that he almost cried, and then he started to run blindly to the side.
"Jerry, why are you just watching? Please help me!" Harry tripped and fell heavily onto the hard stone. A salty, metallic taste of blood filled his mouth.
Jerry: OMO
Just as the Basilisk was closing in on Harry, and its sharp fangs were about to pierce his body, Fawkes, the phoenix circling overhead, suddenly swooped down like lightning.
Its long, golden beak, like a sharp sword, pierced precisely into the basilisk's eye. With a violent, agonizing struggle, a torrent of black blood poured onto the ground like a devastating downpour, spreading with an intense aura of death.
Upon hearing the basilisk's painful screams, Jerry knew that Fox had completed his mission. He looked up and saw the basilisk's enormous eyes, which had been pecked out by the phoenix Fox.

"Harry! The Basilisk's eyes have been gouged out by Fawkes, so don't worry, the Sorting Hat has the weapons you need!" Jerry leaned against the wall, casually reminding Harry after looking at his disheveled appearance.
"Weapons?" Upon hearing Jerry's words, Harry immediately scrambled to his feet and then, incredibly, put the Sorting Hat on his head.
Harry didn't sense anything unusual, but as he wondered what was going on, the hat on his head felt tighter and tighter, as if an invisible hand was squeezing it.
Suddenly, Harry felt something hard and heavy hit him on the head, making him see stars. He quickly took off his hat and felt inside, finding a long, hard object.
A gleaming silver-white sword appeared inside the hat, its hilt adorned with a large, dazzling ruby.
Jerry stared speechlessly at Harry's series of baffling actions, shaking his head in exasperation. He never expected Harry to simply put the Sorting Hat on his head. Shouldn't a normal person reach into the hat and grope for a weapon?
Fortunately, the Gryffindor sword in the hat was hilt down. If it had been tip down, Jerry didn't even want to think about it; Harry would have killed himself without Voldemort even lifting a finger.
"Damn bird!" Voldemort roared as he watched Harry confront the Basilisk, who had been pecked blind by Fawkes, wielding the Gryffindor sword.
"Well done!" Jerry praised Fox as it flew back onto his shoulder. He reached out to touch its feathers, but before he could get close, Fox's sharp claws threatened him, forcing him to pull his hand back.
"This bird really holds a grudge!" Jerry thought to himself.
He really wanted to remind Fox to watch his attitude. The basilisk's eyes were already blind, so his value had been greatly reduced. He warned Fox to watch out, saying he might find a chance to pluck all his feathers out, and then Fox would be crying. He might even be able to collect some phoenix tears for later use, killing two birds with one stone!
However, after seeing Fox's claws gesturing across his face, Jerry suppressed his thoughts for the time being!
"No!" Voldemort's unwilling roar pulled Jerry's thoughts back to the battle between the man and the snake in the room.
The blind basilisk lunged blindly at Harry.
Harry concentrated all his strength on the Gryffindor sword and plunged it deep into the basilisk's palate, all the way to the hilt.
However, just as the black snake blood was dripping down the hilt of the sword and soaking Harry's arm, he suddenly felt a sharp pain in his elbow.
A long, venomous fang suddenly pierced Harry's arm, and pain instantly spread throughout his body.
"It's your turn to step in again!" Jerry said to Fox after shaking his slightly sore shoulders.
Fawkes raised his head, spread his wings, and flew to Harry's side. Large, pearly tears slid down his shimmering feathers and gently landed on Harry's wound. In the blink of an eye, the wound vanished completely, leaving not even a scar!
"Why?" Voldemort shouted at Jerry, "Why did you help him?"
"It wasn't me helping him, it was Dumbledore helping him!"
After muttering something, Jerry went to the basilisk that wasn't quite dead yet. He checked its wounds and nodded in satisfaction. "Great! The snakeskin is perfectly preserved. I can make a snakeskin bag with a seamless extension charm after I peel off all the skin!"
Wow! A bag made from basilisk skin, how luxurious!
"You've really had a tough time, Harry!" Jerry smiled and glanced at the pale-faced Harry, then reached out and grasped the Gryffindor sword stuck in the basilisk's palate.
With a sizzling sound, the sound of flesh scraping against the sword rang out, and Jerry forcefully pulled the sword out. Black basilisk blood gushed out. As Jerry pulled the sword out, the basilisk's life came to an end.
Jerry gripped the Gryffindor sword tightly, examined it carefully, and then gestured at the basilisk's head, preparing to test the newly acquired sword.
As Jerry raised his sword-wielding right hand, he brought it down heavily towards the basilisk's head. However, the instant the blade touched the basilisk's skin, the sword vanished from Jerry's hand into thin air.
"Where's my sword?!"
Jerry looked at his empty right hand, then turned around and saw half a sword hilt sticking out of the Sorting Hat not far away.
That Gryffindor sword is really awful! Even though I'm not from Gryffindor, I'm still a model student at Hogwarts! Why can't I use it? Is this house discrimination?!
Don't be too strict about the houses. Although I am a Slytherin student, I can also be a Gryffindor student!
Harry glanced at the diary next to Ginny, then pulled the Gryffindor sword from the Sorting Hat, gripped the hilt, took a deep breath, and plunged it into the center of the diary. Voldemort tried to stop him, but it was too late.
"Mobiliarbus (Spell of Summons)"
At the critical moment, a crisp sound rang out, and the diary on the ground seemed to be pulled by some force, skillfully avoiding the blade and flying swiftly toward Jerry.
With a "clang!" the sword struck the stone brick, sending sparks flying.
"Jerry, why did you stop me?" Harry asked loudly as the diary flew into Jerry's hands.
"No, no, no! Harry, I can't let you destroy it like this!"
"Haha! Well done, Jerry." A mocking voice rang out.
"Foolish and pathetic Harry Potter, don't you understand yet? You don't actually think Jerry Green was helping you, do you? You're just a pawn he's using! Aren't you curious why you suddenly fainted last year when they were stealing the Philosopher's Stone? I don't think you remember that night!"

"This, how is this possible!" Ha, after using the Gryffindor sword to support himself and steady himself, kept muttering to himself.
"Alright!" Jerry waved his hand impatiently, then looked at Voldemort. "It's getting late, you should leave now!"
"What do you mean?" Voldemort's laughter stopped abruptly, his face darkening as he spoke in an unfriendly tone.
What do you mean? It means you're ready to flip the table! Voldemort, you don't really think I can't handle you in this state, do you?!
In this room, including the unconscious Ginny Weasley, Jerry can boldly say that everyone here is trash!
Jerry had run out of patience to waste any more time with them. He already had the Basilisk and the Horcruxes, and as for the Gryffindor sword, as long as it remained at Hogwarts, it was bound to be taken!
"thunderstorm"
Jerry gripped the diary tightly in his left hand, while gently raising his right. Dark red lightning intertwined and coiled between his fingers like a swarm of venomous snakes, growing ever stronger. Finally, the lightning snakes connected head to tail, and this violent energy transformed into a thorny halo of light, rapidly rushing towards Voldemort's figure not far away.
Jerry's goal was simple: to use the special lightning summoned by the spell to temporarily sever the connection between Voldemort and the diary.
