"No!" Voldemort cried out in terror, but the lightning struck faster than he could have imagined. Within the thorny halo of light, he writhed and struggled, his arms flailing wildly, emitting agonizing screams. Then, suddenly, he vanished with a snap, leaving only silence.
As Voldemort's figure disappeared, Jerry did not breathe a sigh of relief, because he found that he had lost control of the spell. The powerful energy acted on the diary, and Jerry himself was also pressed down by this terrifying aura and could not move.
"Damn it, how could the spell suddenly go out of control!" Jerry cursed inwardly. This feeling of being out of control was completely different from the Fiendfyre curse. When the Fiendfyre curse went out of control, it was just that the wizard lost control of the flames. But this time, Jerry felt as if the spell had its own consciousness. It was automatically drawing magic power from Jerry's body, seemingly operating to achieve some purpose.
Jerry didn't notice that the diary in his hand had begun to crack under the influence of this energy. As time went on, the cracks became more and more obvious, and eventually, the diary could not withstand the force and split completely.
The gray substance drifted into the air like sand, forming a fan-shaped curtain that completely enveloped Jerry's figure. Violent dark red lightning surged forth continuously, and the gray substance contracted and expanded in rhythm with the lightning, as if breathing.
"Jerry!" Harry exclaimed, gripping his wand tightly and cautiously approaching Jerry, who was enveloped in a gray substance. Suddenly, a bolt of lightning flashed past his feet, the powerful force sending Harry flying and knocking him unconscious.
Jerry, tightly enveloped by the gray substance, could clearly feel his body instinctively absorbing the surrounding matter. He tried to resist, but found himself unable to move even a finger. Gradually, his consciousness began to blur, and he eventually fell into a deep sleep.
As Jerry fell into a deep sleep, the gray spiritual matter outside began to shrink and eventually flowed into the mark on the inside of his left wrist. The booming thunder gradually dissipated, and the room fell into a deathly silence.
……
"Tap tap tap!" A series of hurried footsteps broke the silence of the room. Just now, in the private lounge, Catherine suddenly felt a surge of magical power within her and immediately rushed towards the secret chamber.
"Your Majesty, wake up!" Upon entering the room, Catherine ignored the unconscious Ginny and Harry beside her and went straight to Jerry, who had also fallen into a deep sleep. She lifted Jerry up, trying to wake him, but Jerry did not respond and remained in a deep sleep.
"As expected! It started ahead of schedule!" Catherine frowned deeply upon seeing the damaged diary beside her.
"Who are you? Where is this?" Ginny, who was leaning against a stone pillar, woke up from her unconsciousness and asked Catherine in a weak voice.
However, Ginny was met with a pair of icy eyes from Catherine, as cold as a winter's chill.
With Ginny looking on in horror, Catherine waved her wand, knocking her unconscious, and then erased her memory of her and Harry's night.
After everything was done, Catherine gently picked up the unconscious Jerry and quickly left the Chamber of Secrets. In the dimly lit room, Ginny and Harry lay quietly on the cold stone bricks, unconscious.
Chapter 151 Magical Riot
“Miss Ferris, let me…”
Trevor Shackles was deathly pale, but his expression was extremely agitated. When he saw Catherine carrying Jerry into the Slytherin common room, he rushed forward to take Jerry from her arms, but before he could get close, he was deterred by Catherine's stern glare.
"How is Hogwarts doing now?" Catherine gently placed Jerry on the sofa and then turned to ask seriously.
"Hogwarts, no, it should be Britain, Europe, and even the whole world. Anyone who is a wizard and has magic in their body should have felt His Majesty's sublime and sacred power by now! It's a pity that those Mudblood wizards can't know the real reason and will never understand His Majesty's great power!" Trevor Shackles said, his gaze fixed on Jerry without looking away, like a fanatical and devout believer.
“Also, Archbishop Ferris just sent an urgent message inquiring about His Majesty and the situation at Hogwarts!” Trevor Shackles continued.
Catherine knelt beside Jerry, gently stroking his cheek with her fingers, but her brows were furrowed, as if she were deep in thought.
Seeing this, Trevor Shackles, who was standing to the side, wisely chose to remain silent. He didn't dare to ask any further questions. The entire Slytherin common room seemed shrouded in gloom, and an indescribable sense of death filled the air. It wasn't until a slight noise came from the direction of the student dormitories that Catherine seemed to wake from a dream, slowly raised her head, and then softly instructed Trevor.
"I'll explain to my grandfather. Keep an eye on things at Hogwarts. Tonight, it'll be chaos in every house. Dumbledore will definitely be back, so keep a close eye on him and let me know if you hear anything!"
After saying that, he picked Jerry up again, quickly left, and returned to his private lounge.
……
In the Gryffindor girls' dormitory, Hermione was suddenly awakened from a nightmare. Her forehead was covered in tiny beads of sweat, and the magic within her began to stir restlessly, like an untamed wild horse, seeking an outlet. Hermione struggled to sit up, took a deep breath, and tried to calm the sudden surge of magical energy.
Perhaps it was her talent, or perhaps it was the favor of fate, but this surge of magic came fiercely and went quickly, though it did consume a great deal of her energy.
Hermione's face was as pale as paper, as if all her life force had been drained away, and she appeared extremely weak. Her hair was wet and stuck to her forehead, and the back of her clothes was soaked with sweat, clinging to her skin. The cold wind blowing in from the window brought a chill to her bones.
A moment later, Hermione slowly stood up and walked unsteadily to the table. She drank two glasses of cool water and then gasped for breath.
With a deep breath, she turned to look out the window, trying to find some comfort. However, the scene outside weighed on Hermione's heart like a heavy stone.
Except for a small area around the castle that was barely illuminated by lights, the surrounding world was shrouded in a deep and oppressive darkness.
The forbidden forest, usually faintly visible by moonlight, was now completely shrouded in darkness, as if swallowed by an invisible force. Even the bright moon in the night sky was covered by dark clouds, unable to cast any light.
At this moment, Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry was like a small boat swaying in the turbulent darkness, appearing exceptionally fragile and filled with an indescribable unease.
A loud "BOOM!" brought Hermione, who was standing by the window in a daze, back to reality. The wooden cabinet next to Parvati's bed had exploded due to Parvati's own magical outburst.
"Wake up, Parvati!" Hermione, disregarding the danger, rushed to Parvati's bedside and patted her face, trying to wake her up.
Splinters from the explosion flew and cut Parvati's forehead, and bright red blood slowly flowed down the wound, contrasting against his pale skin.
The other two roommates in the dormitory were also awakened by the loud explosion, but they were curled up in their blankets in pain, trying to suppress the restless magic within them.
Hermione hurriedly cleaned Parvati's wound and stopped the bleeding before going to her other two roommates' beds to check on them.
"We're alright, it's just that our magic got a little out of control!" one of them said, forcing a smile as he spoke, his voice trembling.
“But…” Hermione looked at the three of them, bit her lip, and said, “Hold on a little longer, I’m going to find the prefect!”
Hermione rushed to the school's common room, only to find it even more chaotic than her dormitory. The entire common room resembled a makeshift medical station, filled with pale-faced, weak students. Hermione even saw several unconscious underclassmen being hastily carried by upperclassmen to the infirmary for emergency treatment.
In the crowd, Hermione quickly found Percy Weasley, ran over to him, and explained what had happened in her dormitory.
After hearing Hermione's description, Percy Weasley frowned, his expression serious. "Granger, I understand. You must remain in the common room and not return to your own room. Wizarding rages are extremely dangerous," he solemnly instructed.
Then, Percy instructed one of the older girls next to him to go to Hermione's dormitory immediately.
Hermione was temporarily relieved upon seeing this, but then felt a sense of unease again. She looked around but did not see Harry or the others, which intensified her ominous premonition.
So she whispered to Percy Weasley, "Percy, have you taken a headcount of the students? Also, I think we should inform Professor McGonagall as soon as possible!"
Percy Weasley was visibly taken aback by Hermione's words. He quickly glanced at the surrounding crowd and said, "I've already sent someone to inform Professor McGonagall; she should be here soon. But you're right, it does seem like we're short one person!"
After saying that, Percy Weasley didn't linger and hurried off to the boys' lounge.
After Hermione searched the common room again, she still couldn't find any of Harry, Ron, or Neville. This made Hermione feel increasingly uneasy. Could this magical outburst be the work of Harry and the other two again?
Hermione scratched her head, her mind filled with questions. How did Harry and his two friends manage to cause such a magical outburst among so many students at the same time?
Chapter 152 Malfoy: I'm innocent!
"Fred, George, how are you two? Are you hurt?" Hermione's tension eased slightly when she saw the Weasley twins.
Hermione hurried over to them, hoping to get some clues about the incident from them. However, the twin brothers, usually so energetic and mischievous, were unusually tired and weak. They slumped on the sofa, pale-faced, barely able to speak.
When they saw Hermione approaching, Fred and George managed a weak smile and greeted her listlessly.
"It's alright! But Merlin's beard, I'm already in fourth grade, and it still causes magical outbursts! This feeling is really uncomfortable!" George said jokingly.
"That's nothing. I just saw a seventh-grader, who was about to graduate, faint during the magic surge and had to be carried to the infirmary!"
"This is truly shameful; even a seventh-grader can't control the magic power in their body!"
"Stop!" Hermione interrupted the twins' gossip. "I wanted to ask if either of you had seen Harry, Ron, and Neville?"
Upon hearing Hermione's words, Fred turned to look at George, a questioning look in his eyes.
Seeing this, George nudged Fred lightly with his shoulder, his tone slightly teasing: "Why are you looking at me like that? You're completely clueless yourself, so why do you think I necessarily know their whereabouts?"
Fred was amused by George's words and nodded, actually finding George's statement quite reasonable!
"But I don't see Ginny. George, have you seen Ginny? She's still young, tonight's magical upheaval must have made her very uncomfortable." Fred looked around, searching for Ginny.
George shook his head, and just as the two were about to get up to look for Ginny, Percy rushed over and stopped the twins and Hermione.
“Fred, Ginny, and Harry are all missing!” Percy said breathlessly. “When was the last time you saw Ginny?”
Fred and George exchanged glances, trying to recall: "The last time we saw Ginny was in the common room. She was sneaking out of the boys' dormitory, and we joked that she might be going to Harry's room!"
“I last saw them in the Great Hall,” Hermione added anxiously. She was suddenly worried about Jerry in Slytherin!
"Quiet!" A loud voice interrupted Percy's question. Professor McGonagall had finally arrived at the Gryffindor common room, but her face looked unusually grim!
"Professor!" Percy rushed toward Professor McGonagall as if she had seen a savior.
"Professor McGonagall, something's happened! Ginny Weasley, Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Neville Longbottom—all four of them are missing!"
Professor McGonagall sighed upon hearing this. Why do Harry and his two friends always have to get involved in everything?
"I understand, Mr. Weasley! You go and arrange for the injured students to go to the school clinic. The rest of the students should line up and be led by the older students to assemble in the school hall!"
Professor McGonagall's words immediately caused a stir in the previously quiet college lounge. They didn't understand why they were gathering in the school hall so late.
Only Hermione seemed thoughtful after hearing Professor McGonagall's words.
She quickly realized that this magical upheaval was not limited to Gryffindor; the situation in the other three houses was probably similar to that of Gryffindor.
Thinking of this, Hermione became even more worried about Jerry's safety. After all, he always kept to himself in Slytherin and had no friends. What if Jerry got injured and fainted? Or what if some unscrupulous students or scoundrels in Slytherin took advantage of Jerry's weakened state due to his magical outburst?
Upon entering the hall, the Gryffindor students were surprised to find that not only them, but students from the other three houses also arrived one after another, and they didn't seem to be in much better condition than they were.
Everyone was unusually quiet. Even the usually proud Slytherin students sat listlessly in their seats, seemingly too weak to speak.
As soon as Hermione entered the hall, she stood on tiptoe and looked towards Slytherin. After searching around but not finding Jerry, she became increasingly anxious.
While everyone was distracted, Hermione secretly slipped out of the hall, intending to go to the Slytherin common room to find Jerry.
A few days ago, Jerry accidentally told her the password to the Slytherin common room, and hopefully he hasn't had time to change it yet!
She hadn't gone more than a few steps when Hermione bumped into Malfoy and his two little henchmen! Malfoy walked ahead, muttering to himself, while Goyle and Crabbe followed behind, supporting each other.
"Stop!" Hermione suddenly jumped out of the darkness, raised her wand, and blocked the three of them, shouting sharply.
The three Malfoys were startled by Hermione's sudden appearance; even Goyle and Crabbe, who had been supporting each other just moments before, raised their hands.
“Granger…” Malfoy patted his chest after recognizing the person, then turned around and saw Goyle and Crabbe with their hands still raised above their heads. He was so angry that he kicked the two of them. What a disgrace!
Where's Jerry?
The three Malfoys exchanged puzzled glances. They looked at each other, their faces full of confusion, wondering to themselves, how did they know where Jerry went? Wasn't he in the hall?
"Tell me, did you leave Jerry alone in the lounge?!" Hermione said angrily when the three remained silent.

Malfoy: ? ? ?
We're innocent! We're truly innocent! Granger, don't you want to listen to what you're saying? You usually seem pretty smart, so why has your IQ suddenly dropped to zero?
And why do you always cause trouble for us every time Jerry goes missing? It was the same last year, and it's the same this year!
"Put down your wand!" Snape strode out from the side corridor and scolded, "Granger, how could you be so reckless! Do you know that your behavior has seriously violated the school rules? Do you want to be expelled from Hogwarts?"
When Malfoy and his two companions saw Snape, they quickly came up behind him.
Hermione's eyes widened, her lower lip clenched, and she slowly lowered her wand with a hint of resentment. Her voice trembled slightly: "But, Professor Snape, Jerry..."
