He was forged by a warden named Zoval using a power called Domination, and he is one of the Eternals of the Shadowlands.

"The Lich King's helmet is of utmost importance. If the Crown of Domination is destroyed, it will have very serious consequences!" Rhodes said.

"Since such a thing is the case, then, my demigod, what terrible things would happen if the Lich King's Crown of Domination were destroyed?" Tirion Fordring nodded and asked.

He had heard about the Shadowlands, after all, Rhodes had summoned back several souls from the Shadowlands, especially Uther.

He learned from Bastion of Ascension in the Shadowlands that the Lich King's power actually came from the Shadowlands. If what the demigod said was true, then the Lich King's power was probably not as simple as it seemed on the surface.

"This warden named Zolvar is trying to break the balance between life and death. The Lich King is an important pawn in his game. The Icecrown Citadel that Arthas painstakingly built is actually in the architectural style of the Shadowlands."

"And this Icecrown Citadel is the closest point connecting the world of the living and the world of the dead. If the Gate of the Ruler is destroyed, it will shatter the balance between life and death, completely connecting the world of the living and the world of the dead," Rhodes said.

Rhodes told Tirion Fordring about Warden Zoval's plans, as well as some information about the Shadowlands, the Maw, and the power of domination.

“I see. Then there must be a new Lich King. Someone must take on this important task,” Tirion Fordring nodded and said.

“You’re right, we do need a Lich King, and this Lich King must have a strong will to withstand the mental power of Warden Zovall,” Rhodes said.

Tirion Fordring nodded solemnly, then stood up, took a deep breath, bowed to Rhodes, placed a fist on his chest, and said very seriously.

"I understand, Demigod. I know why you told me all this today. I will definitely complete the mission. I will take on this heavy responsibility."

The demigod chose to tell me everything at this time, surely because he wanted me to shoulder this heavy responsibility.

Uther is more suited than himself to lead the Knights of the Silver Hand and then help the princess rebuild the Wheel of Fallen.

He himself would remain here to bear the burden of the Lich King.

"Cough cough cough! Tirion's Scripture. Your will is as firm as steel. Your faith in the Holy Light is also very thorough, but the person I'm talking about is not you."

Please, brother, what do you understand? When did I ever say I was going to let you shoulder this heavy responsibility?

No need, thank you!

"My Lord Demigod, could it be that you have decided to take on this heavy responsibility yourself? To assume the Lich King's duty?" Tirion Fordring asked in alarm.

"Ahem! So could you wait until I've finished speaking, Fording!"

I know a powerful god, a demigod who controls the power of death. She will personally remain on this Icecrown Citadel to guard the Lich King's power, and even without the Crown of Domination, she can suppress the power of Jailer Zoval.

"Stop Warden Zovall's evil plan to overthrow the world of the living and the dead," Rhodes said.

The Lich King's Crown of the Ruler can only be affected by Jailer Zovaar after the wearer has worn it.

Hela's plan is not to wear the helmet, but simply to absorb the power of death and domination within it.

"So that's how it is. There's actually a demigod who controls death! Lord Rhodes, forgive my intrusion, but is this demigod with the attribute of death trustworthy?" Tirion Fordring asked.

The Lich King brought unimaginable disaster to the Alliance and the Horde, especially the people of Lordaeron. If a demigod were to take control of the Lich King's power, he might become even more powerful than Arthas. If he were to commit evil, who could stop him?

“Hahaha! You can rest assured about that. This demigod who controls death and such is absolutely trustworthy. Moreover, not long ago, she even attacked Ulduar with me and together we slew the Old God Yogg-Saron,” Rhodes said.

“Then I am relieved, demigod!” Tirion Fordring nodded and said.

Since the great demigod chose to believe the other, he was also willing to choose to believe.

"So when we attack Icecrown Citadel, the warriors you choose only need to deal with the grunts. Leave the other powerful beings to me," Rhodes said.

I'm the raid leader for the Icecrown Citadel raid. This time, you guys can just relax and coast along while spending money.

Watch me solo Icecrown Citadel, but I absolutely have to disable Invincible; disabling Invincible is a basic tactic for raid leaders.

Chapter 351 Attack on Icecrown Citadel

“Hahaha! I understand, demigod, demigod, the Silver Tournament is about to begin, would you like to come and watch?” Tirion Fordring asked.

"I won't look. It doesn't matter which adventurer you choose," Rhodes said with a smile to Tirion Fordring.

Just kidding! This time I'm the raid leader, I'm the carry for all of you. You're all my alt accounts, do you think I'd let even one of you die? If even one of you dies, it'll be a slap in my face!

A few days later, time flew by, and the Silver Northern Expeditionary Army began its Silver Tournament at its camp.

Prior to this, Tirion Fordring had already conducted a preliminary round, eliminating some unqualified participants. This time, the contestants are the final elite, and they will be personally tested by Tirion Fordring.

These warriors came from the Alliance, the Horde, and the Argent Crusade.

The warriors of the Alliance and the Horde engaged in a series of duels, defeating the behemoths of Northrend and the Val'kyr, minions of the Lich King.

They also defeated a death knight captured by a member of the Argent Crusade, as well as several paladins from the Argent Crusade.

However, a small accident occurred halfway through the performance. An arrogant and conceited Alliance gnome warlock, whose name was something like "Fei Ban" or "Zi"!

They actually summoned a high-ranking demon from the Burning Legion. This high-ranking demon was in a very bad mood after it appeared, so it immediately killed the unfortunate gnome warlock. Then, the warriors of the Alliance and the Horde drove it back to the Twisting Nether.

Before leaving, the Eredar king generously left behind some of his own equipment and some warlock artifacts.

This guy is very likely to be a follow-up military officer in the Burning Legion, because who comes out carrying a whole bunch of chainmail, plate armor, cloth armor, various shoes and weapons!

Honestly, if it weren't for these things, you wouldn't have died at the hands of these idiots!

When this Eredar lord tried to escape, he was even blocked by warlocks from the Alliance and the Horde, and then brutally beaten to death by a group of bloodthirsty horned men.

Then, a phantom of the Lich King Arthas arrived at the very center of the arena that was a reflection of the Northern Expeditionary Army, and then directly shattered the ground of the Silver Arena.

He sent a group of warriors to his trusted general, Arubalak, sacrificing his own general for a large amount of top-tier equipment.

Rhodes shook his head at this, thinking, "What are you doing, Lich King?"

Don't you know how dangerous it is to leave your subordinates alone to face a group of greedy Alliance and Horde adventurers while you leave them with a bunch of equipment?

If you put a bunch of equipment in front of your subordinates and tell everyone that you can get the equipment after defeating them, then believe me, no matter what kind of boss it is, as long as you dare to show your health bar, they are doomed.

The foolish Lich King Arthas once again offered up a head, allowing ordinary adventurers from both the Alliance and the Horde to kill this loyal spider demon general of the Lich King.

After a rigorous selection process, Gillioford chose fifty powerful warriors.

They were twenty-five from the Alliance and twenty-five from the Horde, led by Uther Tirion Fordring, commander of the Argent Crusade, and the great demigod Rhodes.

They marched out of the Champion's Trial camp with great pride and, after resupplying, set off for Icecrown Citadel.

The armies of the Alliance and the Horde, along with the warriors of the Argent Dawn, the Knights of Darkwind, the Blood Elves, and the Newborn, began their attack on the Lich King's minions, launching a surprise assault on Icecrown Citadel.

"The time for justice has come!"

"Attack, warriors! Victory is within reach!"

"Kill! Kill! Kill!" The soldiers of the Alliance and the Horde launched a fierce battle, using various engineering weapons, catapults, and heavy artillery to continuously attack the gates of Icecrown Citadel.

"Arthas!!"

Tirion Fordring raised Ashbringer high in his hand and roared towards the top of Icecrown Citadel, where he saw a figure, a sinner who had betrayed the entire nation, wielding Twin Sorrows.

"The Alliance and the Horde joining forces? How laughable! Before my Frostmourne, you will all have to submit," Arthas said with a cold laugh, holding Twin Sorrows.

Seeing this, Rhodes sneered. What an idiot! You really are an idiot.

With a lineup like this coming to attack you, where do you get your confidence from?

Didn't you see that there are several in this coalition who could take you on one-on-one?

Rhodes didn't bother with any more words to Arthas and smashed the gate of Icecrown Citadel in front of him with a single palm strike.

Then he led a group of allied troops and charged in!

"The demigods have opened the gates of the fortress for us, warriors, charge!"

Countless Alliance and Horde warriors charged into Icecrown Citadel, and hunters picked up their bows and arrows or muskets and began firing, sending the oncoming legion of the dead flying.

The shield-wielding warrior charged, sending countless undead flying. The paladin, wielding the power of holy light, healed his teammates while simultaneously vanquishing the undead. Priests, mages, and warlocks stood behind the melee fighters, casting various spells.

In just a short while, all the monsters on the first level of Icecrown Citadel were completely wiped out.

Members of the Blackwind Knights, along with some members of the Alliance Horde, immediately began constructing fortifications in front of the gates of Icecrown Citadel.

They even built several forging furnaces.

“My Lord Demigod, let’s head straight to Icecrown Citadel. I’ll build the very top one! We’ll take care of the rest of these monsters,” Darion Mograine said as he approached Rhodes.

"No need! You just need to guard the gate for us. Follow me, warriors." Rhodes waved his hand and led a group of warriors from both the Alliance and the Horde into Icecrown Citadel.

Then, he casually and instantly killed a combined skeleton monster wielding a giant scythe on the first floor, leaving the warriors nearby speechless.

They originally thought that there would be a fierce battle when they rushed in, but the demigod killed this seemingly powerful skeletal monster with just a casual strike?

Just as everyone was about to continue, Prince Kael'thas arrived with some blood elves.

"Lord Rhodes! I wonder if you could use your resurrection spell to revive those blood elves who have become vampires?" Kael'thas asked.

As Rhodes's trusted lieutenant, Kael'thas knew some secrets that ordinary people didn't, including detailed information about the Impure World Reincarnation technique.

In the second layer, the vampires led by the Blood Queen Lanathere were all once high-ranking mages of the Blood Elf race.

“That’s no problem!” Rhodes nodded, agreeing to Kael’thas’s request.

Rhodes nodded and continued forward. Lady Deathwhisper, Rotgut and Rotface, and a certain professor—the three princes of the Blood Prince Council—were defeated by Rhodes one after another.

The selected warriors could only play a supporting role and couldn't participate in the battle at all.

This time, Rhode even unleashed his six avatars. The Deva Path (Sephiroth), the Hell Path, and the Thanos Path (Asura Path) each displayed their unique abilities, utterly defeating a large group of demons and monsters within Icecrown Citadel.

In the entire Icecrown Citadel, apart from the Lich King and the Blue Dragon Queen, none of the other bosses can compare to the Guardians of Ulduar.

Rhode only released a few clones of himself, and they were completely overwhelmed. A large group of paladins, death knights, mages, warlocks, and priests could only buff Rhode.

If the warrior's charge had been even slightly slower, the residual power of Rhode's spells would probably have already wiped out the mobs.

A large group of blood elves had been transformed into undead vampires, which Rhode dealt with using Sharingan genjutsu. He then used White Zetsu as materials for their Impure World Reincarnation.

After the transformation was complete, Rhodes opened a portal, communicated with Kael'thas, and then sent the transformed blood elves back to Quel'Thalas.

After being reborn by Rhodes, these blood elves escaped the Lich King's control, though they remained in a state between life and death.

However, it's much better than being a vampire, and there's still a chance of being resurrected in the future.

Some fanatical blood elf mages even think that keeping it as it is is more appropriate.

"Thank you very much, Lord Rhodes. You have done our clan a great favor." Kael'thas bowed to Rhodes and said.

"No need to be polite. You're one of my own, so I'll take care of you. Let's go and see Hyalassia off on his final journey."

Kael'thas nodded and followed Rhodes. Sylvanas also dealt with the remaining monsters and joined Rhodes's party. If they wanted revenge on Arthas, then she naturally had to come.

Soon the group arrived at the upper level of Icecrown Citadel, where they faced Sindragosa, the former queen of the Blue Dragonflight.

"A Frost Dragon Queen, Demigod, be careful of us!" Tirion Fordring hadn't even finished speaking when Rhodes had already ended the battle.
