Ash, with his invincible physical body, wants to become a Pokémon Master...

“Mr. Shonosuke, I would like to sign up for the competition.”

"We welcome all powerful Pokémon to participate, and registration is open at the Pokémon Center until noon today."

[Ding! Congratulations, host, you have triggered a new mission, "The King of Wrestling in the Locker Room" (This is sumo wrestling, for crying out loud!): Use your powerful muscles to defeat all your opponents!]

[Rewards: Alliance Coins +4000; Attack +1; Stamina +1; Free Attribute Points +2]

Because Pokémon sumo tournaments require Pokémon to weigh at least 80 kilograms, Pikachu and its friends cannot participate.

"Since that's the case, let's not choose any other Pokémon. It'll be you, Feraligatr! Let's become real men in the locker room together!"

Although he didn't quite understand why a changing room was needed, Crocodile happily agreed out of trust in Ash.

Ash then immediately took Feraligatr and rushed to the Pokémon Center to register.

"Sigh, really."

Seeing Ash's enthusiasm, Misty could only go to town to replenish her supplies first.

Soon, while learning and battling against Raiden, it was time for the official match the next day.

Chapter 262 Serena: That person looks kind of familiar.

The sumo tournament venue is quite large.

All the contestants, all of them large and strong, gathered in the circular arena.

When Xiao Zhi enters his muscular mode, he becomes the most muscular of the group, and the surrounding contestants and audience are all amazed by his physique.

Hercules Town has always admired big, powerful people and Pokémon, and Ash and Feraligatr are a perfect match for them.

"Hey, you guys are not allowed to keep staring! Ash, you should put your shirt on too!"

Misty is possessive of her food, but Ash doesn't seem to mind.

"It's okay, Misty. It's only natural to be attracted to my strong and beautiful body!" Ash then led his Feraligatr and Pikachu in a few more bodybuilding poses, which drew cheers from the onlookers.

"Don't you care about those few drooling ones either?"

"What."

Upon hearing Xiaoxia's words, Xiaozhi quickly turned his head to look.

It turned out that four burly men who looked just like Dong Zhuo were staring at Xiao Zhi with the same eyes they would use to look at Lu Bu.

When they noticed that Ash had noticed them, they all gave each other a shy wink.

With their sharp eyes, frivolous smiles, and natural movements, it was immediately clear that they were Tiandao and Oga from the world of star-crossed lovers!

A chill ran down Xiaozhi's spine, and he quickly put on his shirt.

Soon, Xiaoxia had to return to the audience seats because Mr. Shonosuke had finally arrived on the central platform of the venue.

After displaying the prize—a token of the champion and a year's supply of Pokémon food—he officially announced the start of the competition.

"Fellow Pokémon sumo wrestlers, the annual tournament has begun! Fight with all your might, aiming for the Yokozuna rank!"

The contestants immediately arrived at their respective competition venues.

Ash's first opponent was a trainer who used Machamp.

"This match features Ash from Pallet Town versus Murasaki from Rikishi Town."

On a field marked with a white circular boundary, the referee, dressed in a costume resembling that of the ancient Chinese folks, introduced both sides and then raised a round fan to announce the start of the match.

"Wait a minute, what's the name of the guy over there?" Ash almost spat out the water he had just drunk when he heard his opponent's name.

It was only then that Xiaozhi noticed that the person opposite him was a muscular man with a black kimono, yellow-green hair, a face full of fat, and a big, thick body.

How dare you call yourself that?!

And how come the hair color and clothing match up?

"Hehe, new kid, don't think you can steal the spotlight just because you have slightly better-looking muscles."

"I am the legendary Murasame, the strongest blade in Rikishi Town! Last year, I even made it into the top four alongside Mighty. You'd better be defeated by me, lol!"

"Shut up! You're not allowed to use that name, and you're not allowed to have that verbal tic!"

The muscular giant, Murasame, exuded an aura of power the moment he appeared, but Ash could no longer tolerate his continued existence.

"Mighty Crocodile, unleash your full power with this palm strike!"

"Oh my god!"

The evolved Feraligatr received a significant boost in strength, especially after Ash used Ability Balm to change its ability to Hyper.

Feraligatr's Hidden Ability "Stun" increases the power of attacks with additional effects by 30%, but the downside is that these additional effects will no longer activate.

For example, the skill "Take It All" would normally render the target unable to escape, but its effect would be forcibly nullified.

However, the situation changes drastically when Ash combines the Life Orbs he previously obtained.

Ash gave the Life Orb to Gengar, but since Gengar now carries a Mega Stone, Ash gave the Life Orb to Feraligatr.

Pokémon that carries a Life Orb will have their moves increased by about 30%, but they will lose a lot of HP each time they hit an opponent with an attack.

Ironically, the forced side effect can just offset the side effect of losing physical strength from the Life Jade, so two negatives make a positive.

Qiangxing and Mingyu are a match made in heaven, but also a tragic couple!

Now, Crocodile's attack power has risen to an astonishing level. Its swift attacks are like a storm, leaving the opposing Mighty with no chance to fight back.

"This power is too strong!"

I've only ever seen this level of attack from last year's champion Pokémon. How come I encountered such a terrifying monster in the very first match this year?

With a swift burst of strength, the powerful crocodile escaped the white zone, easily securing victory in the first round.

The audience erupted in cheers, and even Shonosuke, sitting on the high platform, nodded repeatedly.

"Looks like a remarkable dark horse has emerged."

"Uh, this is impossible! I, the mighty one, have actually lost."

"He's so weak!"

He made boastful remarks before the match, but his super strength was quickly defeated by the crocodile, who knocked him to his knees and threw him away like trash. That shows where his power lies.

"Since I lost so badly, I admit defeat, and I accept it wholeheartedly. That's it."

"So, according to the tradition of Hercules Town, since you defeated me, I am yours. Please allow me to call you Dog Xiujin!"

"Get out of here!"

Xiao Zhi kicked away the muscular version of Cong Yu who was trying to hug him, and quickly moved away because he couldn't stand there any longer; it was too much of an eyesore.

The second match.

"The match between Iri from Luxtown and Ash shall begin!"

"My beloved father is still watching me. In his name, I absolutely cannot lose this battle!"

"Your surname isn't Qiuyue, is it?"

Looking at the blond, muscular man in a school uniform across from him, Ash broke out in a cold sweat again.

"how do you know?"

"Feraligatr, push!" Ash didn't want to stay in this arena for another second.

Ash's Feraligatr was caught off guard by the sudden attack. After they reacted, they began to struggle, but Feraligatr was quickly pushed out of the field.

Ash easily won the second match.

"Ah, Father, I have failed you in the experience you have given me..."

"If you have a name that evokes the image of a father's love as solid as a mountain, then please don't say anything that might cause misunderstandings!"

Ash just hopes that his next opponent won't be someone from Luxtown.

Unfortunately, his opponent in the third match was...

"This match features Sylvie from Luxtown against Ash..."

"Silver-white hair, scars on her face...it's definitely Sylvie."

It's just a pity that the gender and muscle mass don't match.

"What's going on with this town?!" Ash couldn't take it anymore.

"As a mixed-race individual from Unova and Johto, I am determined to prove in this sumo tournament that even though I am of mixed blood, I am still a true Rikishi Town native!"

Sylvie on the other side is full of fighting spirit.

"I think you're quite authentic to have this name!" Ash wanted to end the battle immediately.

"Is this sumo tournament only open to people from Sumo Town?"

Actually, no. There were a total of 200 qualified participants in the tournament, and only 20 of them were from Hercules Town, but Ash was lucky enough to run into them all.

"Damn it, just lose!"

Once again, Ash decisively defeated his opponent, securing his third consecutive victory and advancing to the finals of the sumo tournament.

"Xiao Zhi is amazing! This is the first time a newcomer has made it to the finals. But how did he do it?"

After defeating its formidable rival Blastoise, Thunder came to Ash's side.

Next up is the grand final, a match between Raiden and Ash, a battle between a temporary sumo teacher and student.

But Ash was lying face down on Misty's lap, motionless, and Misty could only apologize to Raiden helplessly.

"Xiao Zhi said he suffered a huge emotional trauma, and he's been like this ever since he came back."

However, Ash finally got up at this moment. He still had to muster his energy to face the lightning, after all, the other party's name was so normal.

Yesterday, Ash's Feraligatr had just evolved and wasn't familiar with its own power, so it was brutally defeated by Thunder's Feraligatr in the sumo match, thanks to Thunder's rich experience.

Ash and Feraligatr are both holding their breath in frustration.

"Mr. Thunder, Mighty Crocodile and I will definitely win the final this afternoon!"

"Hahaha, bring it on!"
