Is this the world of card dealers? Yada thieves!

Dartz only revealed the effect of the card he activated after the trap card was activated. He looked at Hayato and said seriously, "Although it can attack multiple times, if it is changed to defense position, even Chimera Overload Dragon will be powerless to continue."

"Human beings are the same. No matter how brilliantly they shine at this moment, at the end of their destiny, there will still be irreversible ruin and despair. No matter how hard they try, they will not be able to change that fate."

Upon hearing Dartz's words, Hayato couldn't help but think of the future, decades later in the original timeline, and the deeds of the "Doomsday Quartet".

Planetary particles, carrying the emotions of the human heart, drive the perpetual motion machine, equipping the development of human material civilization with a powerful engine. However, the pace of spiritual and mental development cannot keep up, propelling humanity toward its doom. By the time future generations discover this impending doom, it will be like a train speeding towards a precipice, utterly unable to stop.

Even though the post-apocalyptic quartet of Z-ONE, Antinomy, Paradox, and Aporia tried their best, even going so far as to travel back in time to rewrite history, they could only watch helplessly as the apocalypse descended and humanity perished in agony.

Did Darzal see the future through the vision of "Orichalcos," which records the darkness in the hearts of all living beings on the planet?

“So, Hayato, I want to change the future, to change that future of devastation and resentment.” Dartz looked at Hayato earnestly and said, “Nothing lasts forever. I can accept destruction, but it should be a peaceful ending like a deep sleep, not a painful one.”

"The Chimera Overload Dragon, whose battle position has been changed by the effect of 'Change of Fate,' cannot change its battle position as long as it is face-up on the field. After that, the opponent can choose one of the effects of 'Change of Fate' to activate."

As Dartz finished speaking, two doors, one blue and one red, appeared on the [Change Fate] card in his back row, standing not far in front of Hayato.

“Choose, Hayato. I’ve said it before, I will always welcome you to join me, and that hasn’t changed even now.” Dartz looked at Hayato with a sincere expression. “Let’s create a new world together and change the course of humanity’s fate before it heads toward an unstoppable destruction, so that it can be redirected toward a different future.”

"The red door means you can deal me damage equal to half the attack power of the Chimera Overload Dragon, which is nullified."

"And the blue door means that Hayato can restore half of the attack power of [Chimera Overload Dragon]."

"At the crossroads of fate, make your choice carefully."

When Dartz extended another invitation to him and presented him with two choices, Hayato hesitated, a rare occurrence for him.

Either you reduce the opponent's HP by 2000, or you recover 2000 HP yourself? What a meaningless effect, but it's hard to choose. If I reduce Dartz's HP by 2000, is he destined to kill me with one draw next turn?

Huh? Am I actually hesitating because of the "change of destiny" effect, rather than because of Dartz's invitation?

What a joke! Didn't we already know the answer to that kind of thing?

“I’m so sorry, Dartz, my answer to you is still no. Even though you know that the end of the road ahead is a hopeless end, I’m sorry, but you won’t shed tears until you see the coffin, and you won’t turn back until you hit a brick wall. You can call it the weakness of human nature, anyway, that’s just how stubborn humans are.” Hayato had a helpless expression, but then he smiled. “However, I prefer to call it human resilience.”

"Humanity has never survived in the world by compromising in the face of inescapable natural disasters and insurmountable enemies. Humanity will continue to be so stubborn in the future, overcoming countless difficulties, even fate."

"That shattered future isn't something you can decide. Our destiny is to be changed by ourselves!"

After a moment's pause, Hayato recalled Paradox, "I made a promise to someone about this, and I always keep my promises!"

With that, Hayato firmly chose the red door. "My choice is to deal you 2000 points of damage!"

As Hayato made his choice, the blue door shattered, and the power that could have restored Hayato's base points vanished, leaving only the red door filled with destructive power, which fell upon Dartz.

【Dartz: 4000→2000LP】

Seeing that Hayato had rejected her again, Dartz lowered her hand in disappointment and said regretfully, "Is that so? You still won't join me, Hayato. Well, after all, it's you, Hayato. If it were that easy to join my side, your soul wouldn't be so dazzling."

"Come on, Hayato, show me more of your brilliance!"

Hearing Dartz's words, Hayato smiled and said, "Hmph, then you better not blink, Dartz, so that the light that follows will forever be etched into your heart."

As he spoke, Hayato drew a card from his hand: "I will end my Battle Phase, and then in my Main Phase 2, I will activate the Continuous Spell Card [Future Fusion]!"

"As the name suggests, this card is for future fusion. It selects fusion materials from my deck and sends them to the graveyard. Then, during my next Standby Phase, I use those monsters as fusion materials to fusion summon a Fusion Monster from my Fusion Deck."

As [Future Fusion] was activated, Dartz saw a tiny fusion vortex appear in front of Hayato, seemingly waiting for Hayato to put the fusion materials into it.

Before sending the cards retrieved from the Duel Disk to the Graveyard, Hayato showed them to Dartz: "The Fusion Materials I chose to send to the Graveyard are these five monsters."

"An earth-attribute dragon monster, [Half-Dragon Maid - Nursery Dragon Girl];"

"Earth-attribute dragon monster, [Half-Dragon Maid - Earth-Kind Dragon Girl]"

"An earth-attribute dragon-type monster, [Armored Dragon];"

"An earth-attribute dragon monster, [Rock-type Dragon - Rust Dragon];"

"An earth-attribute dragon monster, [Earth Conqueror Dragon - Trace Dragon]!"

A total of five Dragon-type monsters were sent to the graveyard by Hayato. Even though Hayato hadn't revealed which monster he would fuse and summon next turn, Dartz already knew which fusion monster it was because of its well-known summoning conditions.

"Masaka, are you going to summon the Five Divine Dragons, which have an attack power of 5000 points and cannot be destroyed by monsters of the Earth, Fire, Dark, or Water attributes?!"

"Heh heh, that's right. The one I'm going to summon during the next turn's Standby Phase with the effect of [Future Fusion] is none other than the one and only big brother of my 'pure' Dragon Maid deck, the invincible [Five Divine Dragons]!"

Hayato took out the card "Five Divine Dragons" and showed it to Dartz. However, since the Fusion Summon of "Future Fusion" is in the next turn, "Five Divine Dragons" cannot be played for the time being.

As we all know, the most useless resistance in Duel Monsters is battle destruction resistance, but the most useful way to clear the field is battle destruction. And the Five Dragons, with an attack and defense of 5000, has battle destruction resistance.

Although this battle destruction resistance is a crippled version, only effective against monsters of the four specified attributes and ineffective against LIGHT and DIGHT monsters, it doesn't matter. Dartz, that old sly fox, can still pull out a LIGHT monster card.

Hayato selectively ignored the fact that the [Man-Handed God] standing on Dartz Field was a Light attribute monster.

Even if Dartz were to summon a high-attack Light-attribute monster and sit on it to kill the [Five Divine Dragons] that Hayato was going to summon in the next turn.

However, Hayato did not say that he did not intend to summon a monster this turn.

"At this very moment, five EARTH monsters have gathered in my graveyard thanks to the effect of [Future Fusion]. Rise from the earth after a long absence, my original Kami!"

"Strange and supernatural forces, earth-shattering and awe-inspiring! Let that power awaken now from its long-standing lament!"

With that, Hayato drew a card from his hand.

Special Summon: [Gransol, the Earth Spirit]!

The ground beneath his feet trembled as Hayato slammed a card onto the duel disk. A bolt of lightning struck the ground from the darkness, splitting open a fissure from which a towering figure rose.

Following the towering Chimera Overload Dragon, a second enormous monster appeared behind Hayato—

"It's been a long time, [Earth Spirit], let your power serve me once more." Hayato smiled slightly as he looked at the monster standing behind him that hadn't appeared for a long time, then turned to Dartz, "[Earth Spirit - Gransol] cannot be Normal Summoned. It can only be Special Summoned when there are exactly five EARTH monsters in my Graveyard."

"The earth buries all things, and with the arrival of the [Earth Spirit God], the dead will also be resurrected!" Hayato said, taking a card from his graveyard. "When [Earth Spirit God - Gransol] is successfully Special Summoned, Special Summon 1 monster from either your or your opponent's graveyard to my field."

"Come forth, [Half-Dragon Maid - Nursery Dragon Girl]!"

The gentle and graceful [Half-Dragon Maid - Nursery Dragon Girl] was Special Summoned from the Graveyard by Hayato along with the effect of [Gransol]. Now, having summoned the second [Half-Dragon Maid] monster, Hayato proudly said, "I told you, this is a 'pure' Dragon Maid deck."

Upon hearing this, from an angle Hayato couldn't see, the newly appeared [Half-Dragon Maid - Nursery Dragon Girl] couldn't help but roll her eyes.

Chapter 663 Little Blue helped you pile up the ashes, quickly say thank you Little Blue.

"When [Half-Dragon Maid - Nursery Dragon Girl] is Normal or Special Summoned, activate its effect to Special Summon 1 [Half-Dragon Maid] monster other than [Half-Dragon Maid - Nursery Dragon Girl] from my Graveyard!"

Hayato, unaware that the "Baby-Raising Dragon Girl," also known as Little Pink, was secretly looking down on him, continued his operation, retrieving Little Blue, who had appeared once before, from the graveyard. This Little Blue was none other than the invincible future Dragon Emperor - the Laundry Dragon Girl.

As soon as she respawned from the graveyard, Little Blue hid behind Little Pink, the [Nursing Dragon Girl], looking quite frightened. However, what's slightly concerning is that Little Blue wasn't hiding from Dartz's [Sacrifice Demon], but from Hayato, fearing that he might release her again at the slightest provocation.

It was only after Xiaofen's gentle comforting words that Xiaolan reluctantly stepped out from behind her, though she still clung to Xiaofen's skirt.

"If [Half-Dragon Maid - Laundry Dragon Girl] is successfully Special Summoned, I will activate her effect again to send the top three cards of my deck to the Graveyard." Hayato said, touching his deck. "Give it your all, Blue."

The first image is of Gaia, the Dark Knight of the Gale.

The second image is titled "The Half-Dragon Maid Changing Clothes";

The second image is titled "The Ritual of the Super Warrior."

Yada Thief!

Hayato was slightly excited as he looked at the card that had been sent to the cemetery, because this time the grave-piling was really great!

You actually managed to dump the Dragon Maid card into the graveyard! Well done, Little Blue!

"Activate the effect of [Half-Dragon Maid's Changing Clothes] which was dumped into the graveyard by Little Blue, return [Half-Dragon Maid - Nursery Dragon Girl] from my field to my hand, and then recycle this card from the graveyard."

As he spoke, Hayato recalled Pink from the field. After all, Pink's effect could be used as a low-cost version of Monster Resurrection. It wasn't because Hayato wanted to see Blue standing alone between the two behemoths with teary eyes, without Pink to rely on.

Look at this little blue one, she's so cute, how could I not tease her a little? If I punched her, she'd cry for a long time.

Hayato retrieved "Half-Dragon Maid's Changing Clothes" from his graveyard and added it to his hand, glancing at the monsters on his field. The retrieval effect of "Half-Dragon Maid's Changing Clothes" is its second effect; its first effect is just like a regular "Fusion" effect, selecting Fusion Materials from the hand or field, but it is limited to Fusion Summoning Dragon-Type Fusion Monsters.

Right now, Hayato's field has the Machine-Type monster Chimera Overload Dragon, which cannot change its battle position, the Beast-Warrior-Type Earth Spirit - Gransol, and the pitiful, weak but adorable little blue monster.

On the surface, it seems like no monster can be paired with anyone else, and no monster can be fused together. However, the formula for victory was already prepared long ago. You might have already noticed that Hayato has also included [Dragon Conquest] in this "pure" Dragon Maid deck!

"Except for the two EARTH monsters, [Earth Dragon - Trace Dragon] and [Armor Dragon], in my Graveyard, activate the effect of [Rock Dragon - Rust Dragon] in my Graveyard to Special Summon it from my Graveyard. Now I have all the necessary materials!"

Hayato said, drawing the card "Half-Dragon Maid's Changing Clothes" from his hand and holding it above his head. "Activate the Spell Card 'Half-Dragon Maid's Changing Clothes'! Send 'Half-Dragon Maid - Laundry Dragon Girl' and the Level 7 ☆ Dragon-Type monster 'Rock Dragon - Rusty Dragon' from my field as Fusion Materials to the Graveyard!"

"Oh, head maid who is so perfect and elegant in managing five maids, I hereby command you: release the seal and unleash your true form!"

"Descent! Waghatamashi!"

"Fusion Summon! [Half-Dragon Maid - Radiant Dragon Girl]!"

"Yes, my Lord."

As Hayato shouted, a dark shadow shot out from behind him and rose into the air. It was a graceful black dragon, its light radiating above Hayato's head.

Seeing the dazzling appearance of the [Radiant Dragon Girl], Xiao Lan instantly transformed into a little fangirl, her eyes sparkling: "Oh! It's the butler sister! And it's the butler sister in her dragon form!"

"Not only can she summon the other sisters, but the housekeeper can also nullify the power of cockroaches and rabbits. She's so strong, so incredibly strong! The combined power of me and the housekeeper is practically invincible!"

The dragon-form [Half-Dragon Maid - Radiant Dragon Girl] landed slowly under Xiao Lan's adoring gaze, and looked at Xiao Lan with a helpless expression, saying, "Although it makes me very happy that you like me so much, Xiao Lan, please don't stay on the field and cause trouble for your master."

"Ugh! And you're the housekeeper I like the most! Going into the cemetery? No way!" Little Blue threw a tantrum like a child, trying to charm Hayato. "Master, please don't send me into the cold cemetery, at least for one round!"

"But I refuse, obediently go to the graveyard." Unfortunately, Hayato, being a card player, had no interest in women and was naturally good at drawing cards. Despite Little Blue's pitiful gaze, Hayato sent her back to the graveyard without hesitation.

Look how self-aware [Iwasaki Ryu] is! He knows that if he appears, he'll be sent back to the graveyard immediately, so he just peeks out of the graveyard and goes back.

Because Little Blue was transformed into a body of light and sent to the graveyard, the farce temporarily came to an end, and Dartz then turned his attention to [Radiant Dragon Girl].

[3500/2000]

This powerful fusion monster, with a level of 10☆, already surpasses the 3000 attack power of the Blue-Eyes White Dragon, which is usually used as a comparison point. Moreover, Dartz is not deaf; he heard the traitor Blue casually mention the effect of the Radiant Dragon Girl.
