Popularity is everything, and my art style is just too quirky!

On the streets and roads.

A monster dressed in a suit, whose head was a combination of mechanical and lizard-like creatures, scanned the screaming, fleeing crowd around it.

"The psionic fluctuations are too low."

"They have virtually no recycling value!"

drop!

The detection device emitted a short, sharp beep indicating a high level of psionic energy.

The suit-wearing lizard monster turned its head.

He saw a young man with short blond hair walking towards him.

"Looks like I'm in good luck."

The youth is called Zhenwu.

He is the protagonist of the psionic city.

"You're a monster that's been artificially modified!"

"Who sent you?"

Shingo stared at the suit-wearing lizard in front of him and asked this question.

The only response he received was a disdainful remark from the lizard-like man in the suit.

"Heh~"

Zhenwu: "It seems you're not going to answer my question."

"Then I have no choice but to eliminate you!"

As he spoke, astonishing flames erupted around Zhenwu.

It forms an outer garment, covering Zhenwu's body.

The suit-wearing lizard monster moved very quickly.

Almost simultaneously, they exerted force with both feet, instantly accelerating.

A sharp alloy claw blade was revealed on its right hand, reaching out to grab at Shingo's head.

Shingo saw this.

He leaped up using the momentum and kicked out.

He kicked away the suit-wearing lizard's claws at the same time.

The heatwave swept directly over the suited lizard in front of them!

The blazing flames exploded.

The suit worn by the lizard in front of me was burned to pieces.

……

Meanwhile, the anime series "Mob City" officially premiered.

The main channel also unfolds the story from Shingo's perspective.

Soon, viewers eager to try out the new anime series flooded in.

"It starts with a fight? Looks like this is an anime where the battles are really exciting."

"Fire-based psionicist, handsome, and quick to attack! Direct enough, I like him!"

"He's a powerful protagonist!"

"Indeed, an action anime absolutely needs action!"

"Oh, the background music is starting up, such exciting music."

"Looks like the protagonist is about to unleash his power!"

……

In the anime series "Mob City".

The mechanical lizard monster in front of Zhenwu seemed to be completely enraged by Zhenwu's attack.

"Die!"

He then charged straight at Zhenwu without any regard for anything else.

Zhenwu's gaze darkened slightly as he rapidly compressed and concentrated the flames around him into his palm.

The surrounding temperature continued to rise.

Even the surrounding air was distorted due to the high temperature!

The concentrated flames transformed into a shockwave in the next instant.

It blasted directly at the mechanical lizard in front of it.

Seeing the terrifying burst of flames before it, the mechanical lizard hurriedly dodged.

boom!

A huge explosion rang out.

Even though he dodged quickly enough, he didn't completely avoid it.

On the shoulder, where it was rubbed, the mechanical device was damaged, and there were constant flickering electric currents.

The spot where the mechanical lizard had been was blasted into a large crater.

This guy is amazing.

The mechanical lizard abandoned its dismissive attitude and became completely serious.

Just as the mechanical lizard was about to launch another attack without hesitation...

A sound like this came from the side.

"I am Xia Ye, a C-level psychic from the Fifth Division of the Psychic Bureau."

"We received a tip from concerned citizens that a monster has appeared in the Fifth District."

Zhenwu turned his head to look.

Suddenly, a figure whose style clashed with its surroundings came into view.

If you were to ask how to describe it?

The most appropriate word is "careless".

Yes, that's right, it was sloppy.

If not, you can basically confirm that the other party has basic 3D modeling, and you might even think that some strange, simple paper figure has come to life.

So, where did this guy come from?

The same thought crossed the minds of both Zhenwu and the mechanical lizard in front of him.

……

On the main channel, I watched the scene of Xia Ye's appearance.

The audience fell silent.

Putting everything else aside, this guy's character art style is completely different from everyone else's, hey!

"Where did this guy come from?"

"How could this be from the same anime as the main character?"

"This is completely a different art style!"

"This is hilarious!"

"Experts predict that it will be the plot of a classic old anime."

"This guy named Xia Ye has a 50% chance of becoming the control group for the protagonist to show off and be slapped in the face."

"The other 50% are here to drag us down."

……

Since no spiritual energy fluctuations were sensed from Xia Ye.

Zhenwu, who considered Xia Ye to be an ordinary person, immediately offered this reminder.

"This guy is someone you can't handle."

"Leave here as soon as possible."

"To avoid being caught in the crossfire later."

talking.

The fiery spiritual energy within Zhenwu's body has been activated.

The mechanical lizard in front of them also paid no attention to Xia Ye, this strange guy who had suddenly appeared.

His built-in detectors detected no psionic fluctuations from the strange creature before him.

This strange guy is nothing but a useless piece of trash with no psychic powers.

There's nothing to worry about.

The mechanical lizard knew very well who posed the greater threat to him!

Both sides selectively ignored the summer night.

next second.

The mechanical lizard charged at Zhenwu once again.

He has little chance from a distance; only by closing the distance can he take down this guy.

The mechanical lizard was very fast, even producing a sharp popping sound.

Zhenwu gathered his fire energy at his feet and used the impact of the fire explosion to power it.

They dodged the attack precisely.
