Crimson's Revenge

She took her phone out and called someone.

"Dear? Who are you calling?" Seth asked curiously

"You'll find out soon enough." She said in a sinister way

"Hello?" the other end answered

"I have work for you to do." She chillingly said

"Don't blame me for being ruthless just because you forgot everything doesn't mean I'll be lenient towards you. You were the one who started everything." She thought evilly

Lilith did not remember that she and Seth initially wanted to humiliate Reen and give a negative expression to Seth's siblings but only remembering the unjust scolding towards them.

After Reen left, Reen was coughing really hard. She covered her mouth with her hand to diminish the coughing noise. She had tried to suppress the cough which was actually good for her acting as she was in reality really teary eyed and slightly choking by the continual suppression of her cough.

Mason who brought her here was leaning against their car as he was waiting for her. When he saw Reen's coughing fit, he walked towards her and asked in obvious concern.

"Young miss… are you alright?"

Reen nodded her head, with the help of the worried Mason they made their way towards the car. He opened the back door and Reen went inside. Mason went to the driver seat but did not starf the car yet.

After a few coughs more, Reen inhaled deeply suppressing the cough until it eventually died down.

Seeing the obvious worry of Mason, Reen smiled reassuringly but a bit pale on the face.

"I'm fine Uncle Mason, I guess I just accidently breath some polluted air."

He knew she didn't want him to worry and made that sarcastic remark to lighten the mood, but coughing that severely is definitely not because of those so called polluted air given out by Reen's relatives. It's definitely something else so he could not help but still ask.

"Are you sure miss? Do you want to go to the hospital just to make sure?"

Before Reen could reassure him again, her phone rang. It was an unknown number. She clench her hand which she used to cover her mouth while coughing then answered the unknown caller with the other, she then smiled reassuringly and motion to Mason that they can leave.

"Hello?" She asked attentively

Knowing that she didn't want to talk about it anymore he started the car and they left the place.

"We should never go back here… Staying here only brings disasters and illnesses to young miss." Mason could not help but grumble to himself as they left.

Their disapproval towards Elena yet their need to save their face [1] was highly portrayed during Elena's and her sibling's funeral.

They tried forcing Seth and Lilith to actually aid the couple in doing so but as they repeatedly reasoned that they were busy because of this and that eventually they stopped asking them. Seth and Lilith never did visit their funeral procession or their graves.

In Reen's home, everyone knew that Reen had a bad relationship with her dad and his family so Mason could not help but angrily curse at those people.
