Crimson's Revenge

Reen hearing his not so small voice shook her head as she smiled at Mason's back. She stared at her free hand and found blood on it. As thought nothing was wrong, she took the tissue in the car compartment as she balanced the phone with her shoulder. She wiped the blood on it while glancing and making sure that Mason was not looking.

"Finally! I've been trying to call you like a hundred times already!" The voice sounded sweet with a tinge of irritation.

"Who is this…?" Reen asked quite dumfounded by the aggravated voice

"The hell! I just left the country for a year and now you already forgot about me?!" There was the sound of sniffling at the end of the phone. As though finally realizing who the caller could be, Reen hesitantly asked.

"Mirly? Is this you?"

"Who else if it isn't me?! You're a bad friend, bad! Bad! bad!" Mirly sulkily said. Reen completely ignored her sulk filled remarks as she was too happy to even notice such things.

"Hey! When did you just get back?!" Hearing the obvious happiness from Reen's voice, Mirly stopped pretending to sulk

"You're finally happy to listen to me? Hmp! I just arrived a few hours ago, I went straight to aunt and uncle's house to surprise you. But low and behold you're not even there. Seriously, where are you?" She asked curiously as no matter how she asked Hue and Wisterias they repeatedly told her to ask Reen herself instead and gave her Reen's number.

There was no repose at the other side of the line and Mirly thought it got hanged.

"Reen are you still their?"

"Y-yup, still here!" Snapping out of her reverie Reen replied

"So where are you exactly?"

"I'm… I visited my relative's house and saw Seth and Lilith too."

Mirly hearing this realized why Wisteria and Hue did not want to say anything, Reen remembered everything!

In the past whenever they talked or chatted through the phone or social media, She would always address the b*strad and sl*t intimately by calling them dad or aunty. Hearing the changed address the alarm bells on her brain rang.

"You… you remembered everything didn't you?" She asked not really wanting to hear the answer

"Yes… I remembered everything…." As though struck by thunder Mirly stayed silent for quite a long time. Understanding her friend's internal dilemma Reen silently waited for everything to sink in.

"Where are you?" Mirly asked yet again

"I'm at the Jigsaw shopping mall near the city museum." She replied.

"Ok." Then the phone call got cut off.

Startled Reen looked at her phone then told Mason to drop her of at the side. After leaving the car she called Mirly but no one was answering. Left without a choice she called Hue instead.

"Dad, where's Mirly? I can't seem to reach her."

"Oh, Alright... I'll just wait for her here then."

"Alright, be careful and don't be too hard on her alright?" Realizing that Mirly now knew Reen recalled her past which meant that she knew about the fake mission said slowly.

"I will, don't worry."
