Crimson's Revenge

After 30 minutes they had arrived at Reen's house.

"Be careful the hill is rather steep so there are a lot of bumps on the road." Reen said

The gang had finally reached Reen's house, it was on top of a small hill on the outskirts of town.

"You walk this far until the bus stop?" Cookie asked breathlessly

Reen shrugged her shoulders while smiling off handily not bothering to answer Cookie.

Diola and her group had actually walked the first time they went there, they insisted that they walked again this time as they felt (Diola and Skie mostly) that it would be unfair if Uoron and his friends rode a car instead so they endured the torturous walked up hill with them.

As Reen had their family car, she could just have called home and they would fetch them at the bottom of the hill but since Diola and Skie insisted otherwise she didn't call them anymore.

The group had various expressions when climbing the small hill. Uoron, Mirly, Reen, Skie Bill and Veo were not exhausted. They even talked casually among their groups as though they were not climbing the steep hill at all.

Cookie and Diola wear huffing heavily as they climbed. Claire, Chad and Sae were panting a bit but tried their best not to be too obvious about it.

They walked in silence with the occasional small talk. After a few minutes they finally arrived at Reen's house.

"Were here!" Diola shouted

"Finally!" Cookie exhaled

The house was a two storey building painted in white and had a tiled roof. It was modeled after a famous artist house that was what they all thought. The front door was made of expensive wood. The house was surrounded by ginko trees that glisten like small sparkling gold dust.

"It's beautiful…" Claire could not help but say.

"Isn't it? That's the first thing I thought the first time I got here too." Diola said smugly

Reen went and opened the door using the house key.

"I'm here! Mom? Dad?"

A banging of small pans and falling of stainless equipment timely resounded.

"Hah? What was that?" Cookie said looking frightened

"Reen.." Mirly said, all her previous playfulness disappeared

Reen seemed different somehow her whole body was quivering with tension and she was on high alert as though readying to fight.

"Everyone, wait here." She commanded which startled the bunch as they never heard her or act this way even Mirly. Reen then took of her shoes and half run and crept towards the sound.

"Reen!" Diola said worriedly but still did not move from her place. The group was quite confuse by the excessive reactions but did not dare to voice out their opinion feeling the tense atmosphere.

Reen didn't hear Diola, she hurriedly run towards the sound accompanied by Uoron, Bill and Sae and saw something that they never expected to see…
