Crimson's Revenge

Time would past

Fighting, Bickering & Supporting each other.

All the memories we made

Will never ever fade.

No matter what happens

"Hmm… so did you write this thing or something?" She smiled up at her trying to hide her emotions while trying to joke about.

Mirly nodded and slowly turned her head to look at her.

"I wrote this particular poem with you in mind." Mirly said smilingly at her

Reen smiled in return. She gave her notebook back. They turned away and stared at the students passing, the backfield was starting to get crowded. Silence engulfed them.

"A-are you really leaving?"

Reen was looking at her again still trying to control her tears but the breaking of her voice gave her true emotions away. Mirly looked at her and nodded in all seriousness.

Silence engulfed them yet again, a hot breeze blew by gesturing that summer is coming near.

"Can't you at least finish this school year before leaving? It's just a fe-" Reen said hopefully but was interrupted by Mirly

"I can't…" Mirly replied

Reen couldn't argue back even if she wanted too. There was no room for arguments. It was clearly heard in the tone of Mirly's voice. Reen decided not to pursue the issue any longer.

Reen nodded feeling defeated. After a few more minutes, they turned and left holding hands.

After that emotional exchange, her classmates decided to throw Mirly a farewell party the day before she leaves.

After this, the next few days passed in a blur. The time for Mirly and her grandparents to leave had finally arrived. Reen together with Hue and Wisteria went together with her at the airport to bid her goodbye

"Well guys, thank you so much for seeing me off…" Mirly said

Hue and her grandpa were at the checking ticket area of the airport, Reen was crying.

"We'll check in our stuffs first alright? Take your time and say your goodbyes." Her grandma said as she too went to accompany Hue and her husband

They left them to themselves and went to check in their baggage, Wisteria stayed behind for safety reasons as even if a year had passed since that incident they still couldn't help but be extra cautious despite the current stalemate. Mirly hugged Reen, she released her and took a letter from her purse then gave it to her.

"Read that when you go home alright?" she said with a wink.

It was at this moment Mirly inspired Reen to write poems which eventually turned to her writing songs in the future.

"Mirly …Do you really have to go? W-When will y-you come back?"

Talking between her sobs, Mirly held Reen's face wiping her tears away with her fingers.

"I don't know when I'll return but we'll always be best friends no matter where we are."

"Oh Mirly!"

Mirly hugged her again even more tightly.
