"I mean, in the past many people fell and died their which made it off limits."

"That's impossible! They must have been just silly rumours floating around, besides I didn't even here anything about that!" Claire said with conviction but she started wavering after their next words.

"That's because the police covered it up, they explained it as an unfortunate construction accident but in reality it was the vengeful dead spirits lingering there. In the past, that area was a popular suicide spot up until the CJP Hysteria company bought it. I wouldn't even know it if my dad didn't tell me." Bill said seriously.

"That's right… you're dad's the Chief of Police." Cookie replied being half convinced now.

"But that doesn't mean that it's actually true. Your dad practically loves joking and you would fall for all his jokes and pranks each and every time." still not convinced enough, Claire inserted.

Bill blushed slightly which went unnoticed by everyone if you don't look closely since he has tan skin.

"This time, it's real, he swore on his great great great gram's grave." He said full of indignation.

"Oh! I suddenly remembered, the victims are mostly female. I think I've heard of it from somewhere before." Cookie confirmed which made Bill swell with pride, feeling proud for pointing this out first.

Veo rolled his eyes while the two female became more and more hooked at this bogus story.

"I heard there was a rumour going around about it… Something to do with Bee Troy I believe so…" Cookie continued.

"Who the hell's Bee Troy? This is just stupid! You don't believe her Bill do you?!" Claire shouted while ignoring the Goosebumps all over her body.

Noticing that many passer byes where looking at them strangely they got closer together and huddled, Cookie pulling a reluctant Veo into the huddle as well.

Bill looked a bit scared.

"Bill? Don't tell me you believe in this rubbish?" Veo couldn't help but finally insert. How could he have such dim-witted friends.

"You also heard the cursed of the lover's cliff?" Not addressing Veo's question but addressed Cookie instead.

"Yup! That's it" Cookie looking at Bill in enlightenment gaining Veo's glare in return.

"Cursed of the Lover's cliff?" Claire inquired curiously

"Yup, the Cursed of the Lover's cliff... Let's see I think it starts as…." Cookie trying her best to remember the rumour turned into story.

"You don't really think that's true right?" Claire asked, a little bit scared now.
