Crimson's Revenge

Veo signing, he wanted to immediately find them to clarify and be done with this farce. Normally Cookie and Bill were gullible people which doesn't really surprise him. He never expected Claire who was usually one of the level headed individual in their group be this foolish as well. He sighed again louder this time.

All four of them nodded in union. They then slowly made their way through the construction site. The road towards the site was surrounded by trees on either side while beyond that they could see the overgrown grass patches. This eerily added to the budding fear in their hearts except for Veo, of course.

When Reen's crying session had finally mellowed down, Uoron then talked,

"Calm down a bit?"

Reen look up and smiled shyly at him in guilty and shy way.

"Sorry about that...." She said embarrassingly

Her voice sounded hoarse after all the crying she'd done. She coughed tasting that metallic flavour again in her mouth. Swallowing hard yet again, she forced a smile and looked at him again.

"Thank you."

"Hmm..." He stood up, patted the dust out of his pants and wordlessly offered his hand to assist her. She stared at his outreach hand and then at him then back again.

Seeing his impatience she hurriedly grabs his hand and stood up. She then let it go and patted herself clean. Staring at her a bit and checking her expression, seeing her calmer now he slowly walked away with his hands behind his back.

Reen stared at him while biting her lip not sure if she should follow him or not. When he stopped and looked back and saw this his eyes darken.

"Sh*t! Stop biting your lips that way woman or I'll make it so that it will be so swollen that you'd be pained to bite it again." He cursed

While Reen was crying her eyes out, he couldn't help but soften his heart at her who was trying her hardest to stop her tears yet it continued falling down. It was his first time feeling so many emotions for one woman alone.

Curiously, his mischievousness ignited, and lust... Yes, lust. No matter how much he denied it, he couldn't help but be entranced by this beautiful just ripe to eat woman. He had been trying to resist eating her up while she shivered like a little cute frightened porcupine.

If she was actually acting and trying to gain his sympathy like almost all of the women around him then she's in luck he actually got hooked. Like a reeled fish by a fisherman, not knowing his faith of becoming their next meal.

When Reen saw him like this, she was scared sh*tless, from her point of view, she could feel the dangerous aura emitting from him. She hurriedly tried to catch up to him but her head suddenly started hurting again which made her accidently slipped plunging directly into the lake behind her.

"What's that?!" Claire first reacted

The group of 4 stared at each other and hurriedly walked.
