Crimson's Revenge

The attorney handed a pile of documents to the couple as he briefly explained the reason for his appearance.

"The plaintiff [1] is suing you for civil harassment, as you may well know when an argument gets physical, serious injury being inflicted may be possible. The victim may incur medical bills, pain and torment through the said act. The perpetrator can be sued to compensate the medical bills, lost wages if employed, and other distress that the victim may have incurred during the argument [2]."

He stopped briefly as he felt the surrounding became colder the more he speaks. He coughed to dispel his uneasiness. Wisteria leisurely looked through the document given while Hue disinterestedly stared at him.

"As my client is benevolent enough, he gave you an option that he may choose to withdraw the said lawsuit if you pay the settlement money amounting to 500,000 million otherwise, we may very well just see each other in court." He finally ended as he wiped his forehead off some sweat. Despite the cold environment he did not understand but he couldn't stop sweating.

"Hmm… Then let's see each other in court." Not minding the hidden hint the attorney gave him to settle the lawsuit peacefully without damaging both their reputation.

"Alright, you may write a check or in cas- hah?" the attorney was dumbfounded. He knew how they dislike being involved in something as scandalous as this as all the people who knew them recognizes that they love their privacy very much.

Hue merely glared at him stood up helped Wisteria out of her seat completely ignoring the documents in front of him. Wisteria was more civilized, she smiled at the man but her smile didn't reach her eyes as she spoke softly to the man.

"Let's meet each other in 2 days' time." She also stood up after saying her piece and brought the papers she was holding with her as they left the frozen man behind.

After a couple of minutes, the frozen man was brought back to reality.

"This is bad! This was not what he wanted." He started to sweat more in fretfulness

Seth wanted to use this opportunity to scam some big money from the couple and settle this silently despite his and Lilith's grievance over being assaulted. They both knew that for now their first priority is to save their company as the day went by its collapse comes nearer and nearer.

Pride is useless if you don't have the money to back it up so they schemed for this not expecting this kind of result.

Their attorney after finally making sure the other party was serious called Seth and explained everything.

As the other party already accepted the proposal they didn't have any choice but to see this through the end as they gritted their teeth in anger.
