Distant Love

Sophie looked straight in his eyes and said "We talked and they said its fine, they will reschedule for 8pm today. Which means you will have to get the flight for 12pm to shanghai".

Ok book a flight for two people immidiately; Chris ordered.

Already done that; Sophie replied with a faint smile.

Ok good, we have to go right now; Chris said as he stood up from his swivel chair.

But i need to take some stuff at home first; Sophie asked with a calm and elegant voice.

Fine, lets get going then; Chris walked out and sophie followed behind.

In the plane, it was about to take off. Suddenly, Chris felt pain in his hand, the pain increased slowly, he sharply looked down and saw sophie holding his hand with her eyes closed tightly. Chris looked at her with a faint smile on his face, she looked scared, she looked weak. He slowly rubbed her hand with his thumb and turned his gaze away from her, his cold expression returned. As sophie felt the warmt, she slowly opened her eyes and looked at chris's hand then looked at his face, he sat quietly like he did nothing. Sophie relaxed as she held Chris's hand, she felt safe, her mind relaxed, her heart beated calmly.

At 5pm they arrived at Shanghai, Chris already has an villa in shanghai. So being married, it shouldn't make any difference if they stayed together. As they came out of the airport, a car was already waiting to pick them, the CEO of Meng Sha Clothing Company hired a personal driver for chris. After 30min of driving they reached Chris's Villa, Chris told the driver to come pick then after an hour.

Inside the house, sophie looked amazed, its like she entered wonderland. The vila was so beautiful, and even though chris doesn't live in it, it looked dustless. She thought in her mind "Why should i feel amazed, it will all be mine soon" with an evil smirk on her face, chris was still at the door making a call so he didn't notice her.

You should go freshen up, we have to leave in an hour. Use the room upstairs; Chris spoke with a cold voice from behind her.

Mmm; Sophie nodded obidiently as she snapped out of her daydream and walked up to the room.

After the meeting, Chris and Sophie went to have dinner before coming back home.

At Chris's villa, Sophie wanted to have coffee so she went to the kitchen to make some, chris was in the study room doing some paper work. She put all the ingredients, after 5min the coffe was done.
