Distant Love

Chris stopped the boat a bit far out of sight from the island then took a diving oxygen cylinder and strapped it to his back and dived into the water. He swarm towards the island and came to shore when he was sure no one was there. He took off the diving oxygen tank and hid it in a bush, he put on a mini communicator in his ears.

"James can you hear me? "

"Loud and Clear" James was sitting in Beatrix's room at the hospital. He tapped his Computer viewing a map "You got alot of company"

"Yea i see them" he was looking at the building in the centre of the island through his binoculars

"Take care man, you know Beatrix will freak out when she wakes up and finds out" James warned

"Do me a solid and don't tell her"

"I will try. Good luck"

He checked his two XM17s and put them in the vertical shoulder gun holster he wore, he then took out an A-A1005BK liberator folding knife. He walked slowly towards the building silently, he noticed a guard patrolling the entrance area when he looked through the binoculars earlier, he checked to make sure he was alone. He slowly walked behind him, covered his mouth and stabbed him in the neck then pulled him behind a bush.

He proceeded inside and he saw two men playing cards and smoking, he took out two shurikens and threw it at them, they instantly died as it went straight into their necks. He walked further but saw three men standing and chatting "I underestimated" he took out his XM17s "this should be fun". He came out from behind the wall, before the men could react, he shot them straight in the head. The sound of the gun alerted the whole security, they all rushed to the source, Chris braced himself and took cover, he hid behind a head of sandbags.

As he heard hurried foot steps, he peeked and counted the total amount of men coming "17,18,19,20". He checked his remaining bullets and took a deep breath, he stood up and started firing, his aim was good but a few misses.

He took almost 14 of them in less then two minutes, due to some missed shots his bullets ended, he had to resort to hand combat, he took out his knife and started fighting while dodging their bullets, he was quick and alert, not single shot hit him. Two men remained, Chris glared coldly at them and started to run towards them, they did same but suddenly Chris felt a piecing pain in his neck, he stopped and touched the place, he removed a dart like object, it was a tranquilizer dart.

He turned to look at the shooter, he furrowed his brows, he looked confused, disbelief filled his heart, heartbreak. In the midst of his emotional distress, he fell on his knees still looking at the shooter.

"So..Sop..Sophie" he stammered still looking at her

She looked at him while tears rolled down her cheeks "Am sorry" but her words were voiceless.

Chris slowly felt dizzy and his body became light then he passed out.
