The opponent's blade was actually enveloped in a gale, and with one strike it hit Bucky the Clown's true form, leaving a long scar on his chest.

The Chop-Chop Fruit's passive ability is immunity to swordsman slashes, but it didn't work against this girl today. This is the first time it has happened. The invisible sword-like weapon makes it impossible for Buggy the Clown to determine the attack range.

He was covered in Armament Haki, yet the blonde girl still managed to kill him with a sword left on his body. The sword she was wielding must have been a very good one, otherwise it would have been impossible for it to break through his defenses.

Buggy the Clown stepped back, trying to create distance between himself and the female swordsman. She was immune to Devil Fruit abilities, and in close combat, she was no match for a great swordsman. How could such a monster appear in the East Blue?

The marines who were rescued by the girl on the shore exclaimed in admiration, "What an amazing female swordsman! She actually managed to injure Buggy the Clown. Why aren't you affected by Devil Fruits?"

"Magic resistance is one of the abilities I've developed. It can neutralize most of the effects of Devil Fruit powers and reduce my own negative status effects without expending any energy. It's one of my passive abilities."

The blonde girl's explanation left everyone speechless. This ability seemed even more powerful than Armament Haki. These elite marines had never heard of it before. Such an amazing ability was truly one of a kind. It's infuriating to compare yourself to others.

"What a terrifying woman! I'm not playing with you anymore."

Buggy the Clown fled the scene at an incredible speed, flying towards his pirate crew. Only an Admiral could probably catch up with him.

The sudden reversal of the battle situation caught everyone off guard. The pirates who were just so arrogant were actually scared off by a female swordsman, leaving the marines at a loss.

A voice suddenly came from the sea, "Someone help me."

Vice Admiral Onigumo used his life return technique, transforming his hair into eight arms that held a massive black lava block, enduring the intense heat emanating from it. It appeared to be in human form, and the person he pulled up was none other than Admiral Akainu.

The naval soldiers worked together to drag the two men ashore. Vice Admiral Onigumo, who had lost both legs, collapsed on the shore, gasping for fresh air. He had almost suffocated in the sea.

The black lava block quickly spewed magma from its interior, and Marine Admiral Sakazuki stood up again. His head, which had been split open by Buggy the Clown, was still bleeding profusely. Without the protection of Armament Haki, his head had taken a direct hit from Conqueror's Haki, causing him to briefly lose consciousness.

Just before he was about to fall into the sea, he used his Devil Fruit power to envelop his entire body in magma. After falling into the sea, the magma was eroded by the seawater and turned into a dark block of magma.

It was practically a coffin tailor-made for him. Although he hadn't lost any strength in the sea, his little bit of lava could only helplessly continue to fall in the face of the ocean, and the oxygen inside was being consumed little by little.

If Vice Admiral Onigumo hadn't sacrificed his legs to save him, Sakazuki wouldn't have been able to escape into the seabed magma until he sank to the bottom. He would have emerged from some unknown volcano, but by then, his marines would have been wiped out by Bucky.

Admiral Akainu scanned his surroundings and realized that some familiar figures were no longer in sight. He realized that the Navy had suffered heavy losses, and Buggy the Clown was nowhere to be seen. There was also a mysterious blonde girl.

Who is she?

To avoid any misunderstanding, Smoker took the initiative to explain. He didn't want his savior to be suspected without cause, especially since the other party was capable of defeating Bucky the Joker, and the Navy couldn't afford to create a powerful enemy for themselves.

Sakazuki, having heard about the battlefield situation after his departure, nodded to the blonde girl, the greatest goodwill he could offer.

But the girl's seemingly random remark left the assembled navy men with a host of questions.

"If this island is destroyed, you won't have to ask me for compensation, right?"

Artoria's golden ahoge (antenna-like hair sticking up) fluttered in the wind...

Chapter 21 The Star Sword

So many naval personnel were sacrificed, most of them elite officers and soldiers, and their remains were mixed together. As the naval admiral leading the group, Sakazuki absolutely could not let Bucky the Joker escape. He had to pay for the blood debt and appease the spirits of the fallen heroes.

The Navy Headquarters, however, had a different opinion. They had to consider the bigger picture, and since Admiral Akainu had already been defeated once, there was no guarantee that he wouldn't be defeated again. Losing an admiral was something the entire Navy could not accept.

"Sakazuki, I order you to collect the remains of the Marines. Do not pursue Buggy the Clown on your own. Admiral Kizaru has already gone to provide reinforcements."

The Den Den Mushi call from Fleet Admiral Sengoku wasn't a conversation with Sakazuki. While Buggy the Clown was strong individually, his pirate crew was still relatively weak, and the Navy had more important matters to attend to.

"Buggy the Clown is seriously injured, and his stamina is nearing its limit. I believe that as long as we catch up with him, Kizaru and I can kill him."

Sakazuki explained his thoughts: he wanted to avenge his men in the navy; he couldn't bring himself to let them go.

"Don't act alone. Stay where you are and wait for General Borsalino. Also, cut off that damn live stream signal."

Fleet Admiral Sengoku hung up the Den Den Mushi, but Sakazuki's expression was not good. This man, who had absolute justice in his heart, wanted to do something that would allow him to disobey orders when he was in the field.

"You guys wait here for Borsalino, I'll go after Bucky the Clown by myself."

Although he was knocked into the sea in the previous battle, Akainu is physically stronger than Buggy the Clown. After all, a man who can fight Admiral Aokiji for ten days and ten nights is not afraid of a protracted battle.

This blonde girl of unknown origin offered to help the Navy, but said something strange, like she wanted to destroy the island. Her language and behavior were a bit odd.

"I've been looking for Bucky the Clown for a long time. I want revenge for the people of this town. I won't be able to quell my hatred until I kill him today."

In her subsequent narration, Artoria mentioned something that pirates often do: the island where the girl had once received a favor was indiscriminately bombed by Buggy the Clown, resulting in numerous civilian casualties and the loss of a large amount of treasure.

To avenge the townspeople, she relentlessly pursued the Clown Pirates in her small boat. However, lacking any knowledge of navigation, the girl frequently got lost in the East Blue. If it weren't for the celestial sign indicating that Buggy the Clown had appeared in Loguetown, she probably would never have found her target for revenge.

Guided by a kind stranger, the blonde girl finally arrived at the battle in Loguetown and rescued Smoker at a crucial moment, salvaging the future of the Navy. This chivalrous girl naturally had goodwill towards the Navy.

The aura she exudes is not that of an evil person, and coupled with her righteous indignation, she would never join any pirates; she naturally belongs to the Navy.

"Then you'll come with me. With your help, this female swordswoman, Bucky the Clown won't be leaving here alive today."

Admiral Sakazuki agreed with the blonde girl's idea. With such a strong ally, he was more confident in dealing with Bucky the Clown.

The marines around him all advised him not to disobey Fleet Admiral Sengoku's orders, but Admiral Akainu never listened to their advice. He had done many things that disobeyed his superiors' orders, and no one here could stop him.

A golden light flashed across the horizon, and a man wearing sunglasses and with a lewd face appeared in the Navy's field of vision. The newcomer was none other than Admiral Borsalino, codenamed Kizaru in the Navy, a Logia-type Pika Pika no Mi (Glint-Glint Fruit) user.

"Luckily I made it in time and wasn't late."

The man stood in mid-air with his hands in his pockets, looking utterly irritating. He and Sakazuki had joined the Navy together, and both of them were true monsters.

"You've come at the right time. At your speed, you should be able to catch up with Bucky the Clown. Help me stall him for a bit."

"Bucky the Clown is such a terrifying monster, I might not be able to beat him. Sakazuki, you should listen to the Marshal's orders."

A lazy but righteous admiral, he clocks in and out every day, doing the most leisurely job, waiting to retire when he gets old. Why would he risk his life for the meager salary of the navy?

"With actions like these, can you still be considered a Navy Admiral?"

Borsalino picked at his ear in mid-air, pretending not to hear. He was practically a reincarnation of a slacker; when it came to posing, he was better than anyone else. He didn't care about prestige or influence within the Navy at all.

Admiral Kizaru and Admiral Akainu are of equal rank in the Navy. Neither of them can command the other; they both only obey Fleet Admiral Sengoku's orders. Kizaru's only order was to reinforce Sakazuki, not to hunt down Buggy the Clown.

With that sleazy look and indifferent attitude, the enraged Sakazuki wanted to beat Borsalino up; promoting him to admiral was a huge mistake.

After calmly considering the situation, Fleet Admiral Sengoku, Admiral Kizaru, and the surviving Marines all decided that Sakazuki did not want to go alone. In order not to lose his prestige in the Navy, he decided to place his hopes on the blonde girl in front of him.

"Artoria, bring it on. If you can really kill Buggy the Clown here, the entire Navy will owe you a huge favor. Even if you fail and damage the island afterwards, we won't hold you accountable. I guarantee this in the name of a Navy Admiral."

"Alright, remember your promise. All of you, step aside. I'm going to unleash my sword."

When Artoria announced her intention to unleash the sword, her entire demeanor underwent a dramatic transformation, transforming her into that of an ancient king reigning supreme.

Those present dragged the wounded back to the only remaining warship, where they stood on the shore to witness firsthand the blonde girl's next pinnacle sword strike.

The blonde girl raised an unseen weapon above her head, releasing the restrictions of the Wind King's barrier. Amidst the blue storm and dazzling light, the sword continuously revealed its true form: the Star Sword—Excalibur.

After the sword was fully revealed, a powerful storm emanated from it, causing waves to surge across the entire coastline and making the naval warships rock violently. The girl held the golden sword high above her head, moving all the naval personnel present.

"I've truly seen an incredible sword!"

Borsalino withdrew his nonchalant expression. Here, his understanding of light surpassed everyone else's. When the gleaming sword appeared before his eyes, the Devil Fruit power within him was filled with longing for this girl.

"Is this sword a Supreme Grade Sword? It feels even more powerful than this level."

Vice Admiral Onigumo, who often wields a sword, couldn't help but sigh, "For a swordsman, having a good sword is like adding wings to a tiger."

Was she once a queen?

Sakazuki saw in this blonde girl the shadow of a king, that regal aura. Who was she really?

Chapter 22 The Sword of Vow to Victory

Bucky the Clown, dragging his badly injured body, came to his crew's side. At that moment, this group of wicked pirates was plundering the town for treasure.

The residents of Loguetown left in a great hurry, unable to take most of their belongings with them, which ended up benefiting the Joker Pirates.

"Hehehe, men, prepare the ships and let's set sail. The navy will be catching up soon."

"Lord Bucky, we were just preparing the ship. The others are loading things onto it, but there's so much stuff that it's difficult to move."

It was Mochi who first thought of replenishing the ship's supplies, adding that the other pirates were scavenging all over town, packing up anything useful to take away, as this trip was not easy.

Loguetown is the only way to enter Reverse Mountain. It has a relatively developed maritime economy and trade, making it a particularly wealthy town. Previously, Smoker, the White Hunter, was stationed here. When pirates tried to take advantage of the town, they were all dealt with and imprisoned.

Now that they had this opportunity, the pirates were like rats falling into a rice jar, plundering supplies in the town with impunity, slowing down their departure.

It could be said that the Navy was not very meticulous in its actions. It allowed the townspeople to leave Loguetown but failed to sink the Joker Pirates' ship, giving the group a chance to escape.

I watched as Alberta walked out of a women's clothing store, carrying large bags and wearing a brand new outfit. The others were also doing free shopping in Loguetown, just like this female pirate.

"Mochi, call everyone back. If they're not on the ship within ten minutes, they'll be stuck in Loguetown forever."

After saying those words, Bucky the Clown moved so fast that he became a blur in place and rushed towards his pirate ship.

"Go and call someone right now, can't you see the captain is very unhappy?"

Alberta had originally wanted to visit a jewelry store, but given the current situation, she had to give up. Carrying her carefully selected clothes, the woman chose to follow the captain.

"The captain has really changed a lot, don't you think, Leakey?"

The lion beside the animal trainer had been hiding behind Mochi, trembling, ever since the captain returned. It was a mystery what it was afraid of; how could such a wild beast be so timid?

Just as the Clown Pirates were preparing their pirate ship, the Navy's attention was completely drawn to the blonde girl.

With a solemn expression on her beautiful face, Artoria slowly closed her emerald-like eyes, preparing her moves in her mind.

"So much light"

"Did even the dead colleagues turn into light?"

"Even the sea shone with light!"

Some of the lights drifted up from the depths of the sea, some from the naval branch cemetery, some from the remains of recently fallen naval soldiers, and some from the direction of Luohe Town. The lights from all directions converged on the golden sword.

The sword, held high above the head with both hands, was transformed into a pillar of light reaching the heavens by countless points of light. The intense light pierced the sky and grew to over a hundred meters. This powerful move was still increasing in strength, and the light formed by the sword was still getting longer and thicker.
