Becoming a god by raising witches

Sieg froze, immediately covering the two children's ears, his eyes filled with astonishment.
"My God, James, has your life really gotten this bad? I'm sorry, if I had known your family was in such dire straits, I would have saved up the money to pay you back no matter what. I'll go back and talk to Ella and ask her to take out her savings to pay you back. Oh, poor James."
"hehe."
Locke chuckled coldly. "Actually, I didn't marry Jenny. Do you remember Andy Hagen?"
"?"
Sieg looked at Locke with a puzzled expression, while the two children stared wide-eyed at him.
"Andy Hagen, the daughter of the Duke of Hagen, whoever wins her heart will gain one-fifth of the kingdom's wealth."
Locke repeated what Sieg had said before.
Sieg's eyes glazed over for a second, as if the sentence sounded familiar.
“Look over there, that beautiful young lady is Andy Hagen, the Duke of Hagen’s missing daughter, and next to her is her maid.”
Locke pointed to the three people in the corner seats.
"As for that man, I don't know him either. I guess he might be a guard who came with them."
Sieg froze again. The two children tilted their heads and looked at Andy Hagen with curiosity in their eyes.
"Why do your words sound so familiar, James? Have you ever said the same joke to me before?"
Sieg said, puzzled.
"Do you remember the last time your salary was withheld? You thought you were the hero who saved Kosork, but you had to have your taxes deducted. Oh, and your father, old James, froze your bank account. That gentleman over there is your uncle, who married his fifth wife and recently disappeared."
Locke sipped his coffee and spoke eloquently.
Suddenly, the coffee shop door opened.
Sieg's eyes, which had already begun to waver, became cloudy again as he looked at the two young men at the door.
The man was dressed in a well-fitting suit, wearing a top silk hat, and carrying a silver cane and a pocket watch; he had a handsome face.
The woman had the same light blonde curly hair as Sheria, wore a green dress, and a scalloped hat.
As they entered the coffee shop, everyone instinctively glanced at them, then turned back to their own business.
Locke noticed that their clothes were clearly spring attire, and their boots were still covered in village mud.
"The town's spring festival is about to begin, and I wonder who will be lucky enough to be chosen as the Maiden of Life."
“Krista, I don’t want you to be chosen, even though you’re the prettiest girl in town.”
The man said with a smile.
“Nate, don’t lie to me. Mrs. Anya is much prettier than me. If she were 10 years younger, she would definitely be chosen as the Girl of Life.”
Krista said as she sat down in an empty seat and waved for a waiter.
"Give me a vanilla coffee, and remember to add extra milk and sugar."
“Yes, Ms. Krista.”
"The gentleman next to me is just like me; in fact, he likes sweets even more than I do."
Christa said to the waiter with a smile.
The waiter nodded, smiled, and walked away.
Nate sighed helplessly, "If only there were more coffee shops in town. There's only one, and we have to walk a long way every time, and my shoes always get covered in mud."
"Stop complaining. I only dressed so formally because I knew you had a job interview today."
Listening to their conversation, Locke felt they were just a normal couple.
But they were clearly not from Kosork; they seemed more like people from the town outside the coffee shop.
Language, clothing, and appearance all speak for themselves.
"No, I'm not here for the interview; I'm here for something very important today."
A man named Nate suddenly knelt down on one knee in front of Krista.
"Christa, marry me. I fell in love with you the moment I first saw you."
Nate took out the ring and put it on Christa's hand.
Krista covered her face, staring at Nate in disbelief.
"Are you serious? You, you, are you serious?"
"Of course, Christa, will you marry me?"
"Okay, I do!"
Krista threw herself into Nate's arms.
Everyone in the coffee shop stood up to cheer for the couple and offer their blessings.
Locke also couldn't help but get up, but unlike Sieg, he didn't offer his heartfelt blessings.
He wondered if this was the main storyline of the coffee shop.
Otherwise, why would everyone be so cooperative?
Everyone in the shop seemed to know Krista and Nate, and they started singing and dancing to celebrate Nate's successful proposal. The coffee shop seemed to have turned into a lively pub, and everyone was having a country dance party.
Sieg took off his heavy coat and joined the crowd in the revelry. He even took the hand of Krista's fiancé, Nate, and excitedly said...
"Congratulations, Nate, you finally succeeded."
"Yes, I'm finally going to marry my beloved Christa."
Locke was surrounded by the crowd, awkwardly dancing as he pondered how to break the deadlock.
If the love story between Krista and Nate is the main theme of the coffee shop, then it proves that the coffee shop may be a strange entity with the power to change people's will, and the owner of the strange entity is likely related to these two.
Getting close to Krista and Nate is the key to solving this problem.
Thinking of this, Locke stepped forward, took Krista's hand, and pulled her out of Nate's arms.
"My dearest Christa, are you really going to marry Nate?"
"Of course, James, I like Nate, and I will be Nate's wife."
Christa's face was beaming with happiness.
Locke could tell she was genuinely happy.
"Do you know Nate's character? You agreed to marry him so quickly. He didn't even spare his own father's fiancée, got Elena pregnant, and then heartlessly abandoned her. He's an irresponsible playboy. Christa, you shouldn't marry him. You should marry a man of good character."
Locke spoke with a serious expression, spouting nonsense in a solemn manner.
Everyone in the coffee shop was stunned; time seemed to stand still.
Krista suddenly shook off Locke's hand.
“What nonsense are you talking about? Everyone knows Nate is a good man. He doesn’t have a father. He’s an orphan.”
The people in the coffee shop regained their senses, and time continued to flow.
Everyone chose to ignore Locke, as if he didn't exist, and continued to celebrate Nate's successful proposal.
This pleasant atmosphere lasted only fifteen minutes before Nate invited everyone to the church to witness their wedding.
Everyone left the coffee shop without prior arrangement, including Seager.
Locke grabbed Sieg,
You can't go with them.
"why?"
"No, you still have to come with me to find that despicable fraudster."
"That can also be done after attending Christa's wedding."
Sieg shoved Locke aside and ran out with his "son" and "daughter" like a bee chasing nectar.
Through the glass door, Locke saw them rushing towards the church on the hillside.
His brow furrowed, a sense of foreboding creeping over him.
Considering that Sieg had helped him a lot and had even generously rented his uncle's villa to him, Locke reluctantly left the coffee shop.
Fortunately, when he turned around, the coffee shop was still there; it hadn't disappeared like the Doorway.
Locke quickly caught up with Sieg.
The church wedding has begun.
Christa had somehow already put on her wedding dress.
A kind-faced priest officiated at their wedding.
The church was packed with people. Andy Hagen wiped away tears of emotion, hoping that his own wedding would be just as perfect.
The two began to recite their vows.
When the priest asked if anyone in the room objected to the marriage, Locke stood up again.
Krista's brow furrowed almost imperceptibly. She stepped forward and embraced Locke.
