This is the second time an unknown force has invaded, attempting to alter Locke's memories.

Realizing he was about to be ganged up on, Locke immediately said,

“Father, I was wrong. Krista and Nate are a match made in heaven.”

The old mayor put away his cane, his angry expression immediately turning into a kind one. The others also stopped their actions of beating Locke, returned to their original positions, and their faces regained their smiles.

Krista and Nate's wedding proceeded as planned.

"Since no one objects, I hereby declare..."

Before the priest could finish speaking, a clear and mature voice was suddenly heard.

"I object."

Locke and the crowd looked in surprise toward the source of the sound.

It was none other than the black-haired bureau chief, Renis.

She appeared here at some point.

She was dressed in a gorgeous gown, with a purple trench coat draped over her shoulders, and holding a long pipe.

White smoke rings appeared in the pipe, encircling Sieg, Locke, and Andy Hagen.

The smoke rings turned into lassos, tightly binding the three of them and dragging them behind Rhaenys.

"Director."

Locke exclaimed excitedly.

Although he was 200% certain that it was the director's doppelganger, he was still very happy that he was finally not fighting alone.

This coffee shop is extremely troublesome. Even the witch Irene was injured, let alone little Kara herself. If she were to try to take it on head-on, she would most likely be devoured without a trace.

The Skull Pit was a pit dug in the ground where Nate was buried.

The gentle Krista suddenly became furious.

Her long, pale golden hair flowed freely, like an octopus spreading its tentacles, and her azure eyes turned blood red.

"What exactly do you want to do!?"

She questioned Renis, and cracks appeared in the azure sky, as if sensing her impending emotional outburst.

The sunlight around them was stolen away, and night fell. Krista, who was wearing a white wedding dress, was now dressed in a black gown, her lips were blood red, and her skin was deathly pale.

The wedding guests picked up knives, forks, and sticks, their eyes rolled back, leaving only white eyeballs, making them look both eerie and unsettling.

They rushed toward Rhaenys like a horde of mindless puppets.

The demon Rebecca stepped forward, transforming into a tsunami of smoke, pushing everyone away.

They fell to the ground and fainted.

But the next second, he stood up again.

Confused and bewildered, Sieg and the bewitched Andy Hagen also attempted to attack Renis, but Locke's hair tangled around them, pulling them back.

"Sieg, wake up."

Locke slapped Sieg's face until it looked like a pig's head, and only when his eyes gradually returned to normal and pupils reappeared did he breathe a sigh of relief.

Locke, Sieg who had just regained consciousness, and Andy Hagen who was still being controlled, found cracks appearing in the ground beneath their feet. Locke quickly led the two away, but the cracks seemed to be chasing them and were constantly widening. They dared not stop and could only keep running forward.

Locke's hair loosened from Sieg's.

Using his good balance, Locke climbed up the hill carrying Andy Hagen on his back, following the direction of his hair.

Andy Hagen remained with white-rimmed eyes, seemingly devoid of any independent thought. She tried to attack Locke, but her hands and feet were bound by her hair.

The three climbed up the cliff and found that they were already far from the battlefield.

In that collapsing world, only Renis is still fighting Krista.
