Becoming a god by raising witches

Frida clenched her fist as she spoke, then her brow relaxed.
"But right now, the most important thing is to go hunting. We can't let them affect our mood; they don't deserve it."
"As expected of Her Highness the Princess."
Natal said with an admiring look in her eyes.
Locke asked, "What do you plan to say to Her Majesty the Queen?"
“I told her about what happened to me today. When our carriage passed through Mar Street, we encountered a mob. They were laid-off workers from the alchemy plant who were chanting slogans against the new alchemy bill and attacked our carriage without provocation!”
Frida organized her thoughts and said.
"If you say that, won't you expose yourself? Her Majesty the Queen will know that you disobeyed her orders and went to the West End."
Locke said.
Sieg nodded. "That's right, that's how it is."
Dimo chimed in, "Her Majesty the Queen will also ask you why you went to Mar Street?"
Frida glanced at the maid Natal, who nodded. Frida pouted, "Then what should I say?"
“You can say that you saw in the newspaper that many workers are marching and demonstrating, and you guess that they are desperate for money and may attack the rich, which will cause social unrest. Ask Her Majesty the Queen to find a way to stop it, so that Her Majesty the Queen will not suspect you.”
Locke said with a smile.
Frida nodded slightly. "That's one way, but it doesn't seem to explain their intention to harm me."
"Are you injured?"
Locke asked.
"I do not have."
Frida shook her head.
"That's right, the meaning has been conveyed. Don't you belong to the wealthy class?"
Locke asked again.
Frida thought about it and realized she was indeed wealthy enough, so she smiled and nodded, "Let's do it that way."
A quarter of an hour later, the carriage finally arrived at the Ur district, the outskirts of the western district. Here, the Ur mountain range stretches endlessly, with beautiful and picturesque scenery. It looks almost unlike the western district, so some wealthy people also set up estates here and hire bodyguards for protection.
The reindeer farm is located at the foot of one of the mountains in the Ur Mountains, and it also features a large artificial lake, making it a scenic spot.
The guards at the manor gate were not as strict as those at the royal palace; they were currently gathered together, lazily playing cards.
"Come on, Mut, you lost, pay up."
"Damn it, how did you win again? You're going to give me my underwear."
"Who cares about your underwear? You might as well give me your sister."
"I think you need to be taught a lesson, let's fight."
The four card players started arguing until they saw someone approaching, at which point they reluctantly let go and came forward.
When they saw it was an ordinary carriage, their fawning gazes immediately turned to disdain, and they returned to their seats, wanting to continue playing cards.
"Guards, didn't you see someone coming?"
If Sieg hadn't been there, Natal would have loved to swear and teach the guards a lesson in her royal maid's level-eight Zaunian verbal skills.
Unfortunately, she had to maintain a ladylike image.
"We see you, who are you?"
The young guard asked with a smile, only responding because the other person was a woman.
"I am Natal, the princess's head maid. Don't you all recognize me?"
Natal's eyes widened as she poked her head out of the window.
The guards were stunned for a moment, then immediately rose from their chairs, standing upright, each one like a puppet, staring blankly at Natal.
"Welcome, Ms. Natal."
"Open the door, we want to go in."
"Natal gave the order."
The guards opened the iron gate and let the carriage in.
Chapter 133, Reindeer Manor
The carriage entered the reindeer plantation, and Frida couldn't wait to get off. With the help of her maid Natal, her feet touched the thick mud, where the snow had already been cleared from the road.
The air here is fresh, and even Locke, whose sense of smell is always so keen and discerning, finds it very comfortable. Apart from the distant smell of horse manure and the smell of the dry tobacco smoked by the guards at the gate, everything else is tolerable.
The smell of soil and grass was faint, and the garden in front of the manor was full of winter hyacinths, which had a strong fragrance.
This winter hyacinth flower looks very much like a hyacinth. Its petals have a natural fragrance and are one of the main sources of body odor for Kossork aromatherapy masters. It only blooms in winter and is pale pink in color.
At the end of the winter hyacinth flowers were two rows of tall ornamental banyan trees. In Locke's opinion, these trees were not as practical as planting fruit trees.
Behind the banyan trees lies a tall and majestic manor castle. This castle is only one-third the size of the Princess Castle in the Queen's Quarter, but it is still quite impressive.
The top of the castle was covered with a layer of silvery-white snow, making it look like a fairy tale come to life.
The castle's main building, including the attic, has five floors in total, consisting of a main building and two auxiliary buildings. There is also a separate clock tower to the right of the auxiliary buildings, and a stable not far away, from which the smell of horse manure comes.
"Locke, how is it? Do you like it here?"
Frida said proudly, "This manor was given to me by Duke Fruer when I was seven years old, and it will be yours in the future."
"I admire your generosity."
Locke bowed slightly and accepted the manor with a smile.
Consider turning this place into a shelter before the war begins.
Although the winter hyacinths in the flower field are beautiful and fragrant, they have no practical use. It would be best to grow them as vegetables and transplant the trees into fruit trees. Perhaps I really need to use Robson's strange, seemingly useless object—the Flute of Life—to accelerate the ripening of these crops.
Locke, who already wanted to become a farmer, squatted down, picked up a handful of soil, smelled it, and carefully examined the soil. It turned out to be rare black soil.
"What are you doing?"
Frida asked, puzzled, "You don't want to eat dirt, do you?"
"No, Your Highness, I just want to grow some vegetables here."
Locke said honestly.
Frida immediately clutched her stomach and burst out laughing. "Look at this country bumpkin! He's only been given a farm, and he's already thinking about farming."
"Your Highness, please mind your ladylike image."
Natal reminded her.
Frida wiped away her tears. "Hahaha, that's hilarious! I've never seen a nobleman grow vegetables on his estate before. It's so unrefined, so country bumpkin-like."
"Ahem, wasn't Your Highness going hunting?"
Locke asked.
Frida nodded.
"Yes, we're going hunting in the mountains. I've heard that white deer appear when it snows in winter, and we're going to catch one today."
Frida clenched her fists excitedly, putting the country bumpkin's desire to farm out of her mind.
The servants, noticing the arrival of visitors, immediately went to greet them.
A butler, dressed in a tailcoat and top hat, and around forty-six years old, led two older head maids forward to bow to Princess Frida.
"Your Highness, if we had known you were coming, we would have made arrangements in advance."
"No need for that. We came secretly and cannot tell Her Majesty the Queen."
Frida lifted her skirt and ran into the manor.
The maid Natal followed behind her, reminding her to slow down while giving instructions to the butler.
"Your Highness, please slow down and wait for me."
"This is Locke Bemon. He found the sheriff for Princess Suad II. The princess admires him and bestowed the manor upon him. From now on, he will be the new owner of the manor. You will listen to him from now on. Oh, these people are Locke Bemon's colleagues. They are all sheriffs."
"Hurry up."
Frida was like a canary released from its cage, her steps light and graceful.
The butler and head maids were slightly taken aback, and soon, worried expressions appeared on their faces.
Princess Frida may be willful, but she is a princess, and all these people's salaries come from her. Now she's giving away the estate, and to an ordinary sheriff who doesn't seem to be very wealthy? Isn't this a joke?
Are all of them going to lose their jobs?
Butler Monte, head maid Olena and Vera, plus 1 food tasting maid, 1 dresser maid, 2 laundry maids, 2 kitchen maids, 4 general maids, 2 chefs, 3 horse grooms, 3 gardeners, and 50 guards—aren't they all going to be unemployed?
Monte was downcast, but he still had to treat them well.
I just hope that Her Highness the Princess is just having a passing fancy and will change her mind soon.
"Mr. Bemon, would you like to go hunting with Her Highness the Princess, or would you like me to show you around the manor?"
