Magical Girl in the Superhero World

“I went to New Europe, and then… I signed up for the incubation program, took Compound Nine, and that’s how my eyes changed color.”

The change in her eye color couldn't be hidden from her family, so Mo Zhen just told them the truth, and that she'd be scolded if she had to tomorrow.

Never mind! Let's get started!

"The incubation program? You mean that experimental program that's still in its third phase of testing and hasn't been approved by the Earth Alliance for market entry?"

Although various countries have expressed interest in developing Taiping State into a superhuman metropolis, the artificial plan has always been in the experimental stage and is considered taboo.

After all, it is a completely different concept for humans to break through genetic limitations through their own efforts and for humans to obtain the power of the Nine Dragons, which does not belong to them, by getting injections and medicine.

On a smaller scale, it undermines human morality; if this were allowed, everyone would probably want to get a shot.

On a grander scale, that would be jeopardizing the global financial industry. If they really create artificial superhumans, how will my hero stocks and "Hero 100" be traded?

The reason why people in the stock market are willing to pay for superheroes is because superheroes are born with the concept of being "chosen by heaven".

On average, only one in a million people is born as a superhuman.

Its unparalleled scarcity drove the Taiping State Stock Exchange Composite Index to 10 points, almost single-handedly hijacking global finance.

In religious circles, countless people regard it as God's chosen one and a gift.

Therefore, Mo Xiaochuan became somewhat anxious upon hearing about the incubation plan: "Brother, are you really not feeling unwell?"

"How about we go get it checked out tomorrow?"

"Don't worry, I'm really fine."

Mo Zhen patiently comforted her, "Okay, I'm going to sleep now. You should go to sleep early too, you have school tomorrow."

“Fine…” Mo Xiaochuan had no choice but to leave his room.

After he left, Mo Zhen lay in bed for a while before getting up to lock the door.

Next, sink your consciousness into the realm of your own heart.

In a world where the sea meets the sky, only the saplings of the Tree of Calamity sway gently in the wind.

"untie!"

Mo Zhen unleashed her magic, and amidst the surging gray-white magic, she completed her transformation.

I haven't had time before, but now I finally have time to properly study my transformation form.

It would be a lie to say I wasn't curious.

After all, in her previous life she had only completed the game's underlying architecture, and her progress in art was not as fast, relying entirely on the system to complete it on its own.

Mo Zhen lowered her head and looked at herself through the rippling, clear water.

In the reflection, the girl has long, gray-white hair that reaches her waist, a pure gold laurel leaf hair ornament on the left side of her head, and deep red eyes like jewels.

Apart from that, her facial features did not change much, except that they appeared softer after the transformation.

Mo Zhen stared at herself, and as she looked, her earlobes unconsciously turned slightly red, and her gaze shifted from serious scrutiny to a wandering one.

"Fortunately, magical girls all have built-in cognitive filters."

She blushed and looked away, muttering to herself.

Honestly, if her family found out about this, she would probably jump off a building. Heaven knows how much her older brother and sister would laugh.

Not to mention his younger siblings; if they found out, his authority as the older brother would probably be gone forever.

It's so embarrassing just thinking about it...

After calming down, Mo Zhen continued to study his magical armor.

In terms of design, magical girls' costumes are outfits that best showcase their charm and personality.

Mo Zhen's basic magic outfit consisted of a deep red classic shirt with a black collar flower tied at the chest, inlaid with a deep red soul gem.

Her lower body consisted of a fitted midi skirt in the same color as the corsage, followed by black pantyhose and high-heeled shoes.

"Does that mean we have to dress like this when we fight from now on?"

Being a magical girl must be tough (sad).

Mo Zhen's ears turned even redder.

After all, in her memory, the magical girls that appeared on the screen were all colorful and full of youth and hope.

But looking like this, I resembled a villain from a comic book—evil and stupid, I just didn't look like a good person at all...

However... she certainly lives up to her identity as the Witch of Calamity.

Mo Zhen rubbed her burning cheeks and it took her a while to accept the demonic outfit.

Then he visually estimated his own height.

"...I've gotten much shorter. Without heels, I'm probably not even 1.6 meters tall, maybe 158 at most. As for my figure, well, let's not even go there."

Her magical outfit accentuated her figure, quite unlike the uniforms of most magical girls, or even Lolita and Gothic magical outfits.

It belongs to the style of a rich young lady that looks expensive at first glance.

After wasting a lot of time on self-admiration, Mo Zhen finally turned her attention back to her important business, which was her beloved imperial chef.

This is his first ability. Before he can acquire the powers of other villains, he will have to rely on the power of the chef to protect himself.

In this world where superheroes are everywhere and supervillains are rampant, if she doesn't have some strength, she might get killed by a dragon-level monster that suddenly appears on the street one day.

It's important to know that Taiping State is known as Little Gotham, and as the place with the most superhumans, it naturally also has the highest crime rate.

Ambitious people from all over the world gathered here to participate in this grand event and seek enlightenment in Longchang.

"Let's take a look at our own panel first."

Mo Zhen opened the system panel.

Please note: The danger levels in this world are general levels, ranging from S to E, a total of six levels.

The "danger level" refers to the degree of danger you pose to all of human civilization, not just a single assessment of combat capability.

The "Five-Dimensional Panel" is calculated based on a combination of your factors.

Due to varying factors, even among A-rank units of the same strength and speed, their performance in actual combat can differ. Therefore, the five-dimensional data is for reference only.

Your profile panel is shown below.

[Transformation state.]

[Magic Code Name: Undetermined.]

[Danger Level: D]

[Strength: D-rank.]

Speed: D-level.

[Defense: D-rank.]

[Magic Power: D Rank]

[Charm: S-rank]

[Ability: Technique - Master Chef.]

"What a perfect whiteboard." Mo Zhen sighed inwardly.

"Apart from his charm, he has nothing else to offer."

There's no doubt that every magical girl is incredibly charming.

Furthermore, in their transformed state, magical girls' magic power automatically enhances their physical attributes.

It's like having built-in magic enhancement.

In the realm of magic, this is a unique phenomenon, a characteristic exclusive to magical girls. It's something many fragile mages envy immensely.

There's no way around it; after all, you can't expect a group of fifteen or sixteen-year-old girls, or even young girls, to attend classes during the day, do homework in the afternoon, and then go into seclusion to cultivate themselves at night, can you?

"Speaking of which, if I deactivate my transformation, will I still be able to use the Imperial Chef?"

Mo Zhen suddenly remembered this, so after actively deactivating his transformation, he raised his hand and pointed it at the air.

"untie"!

call out!

The fleeting slash, like a small pair of scissors, made Mo Zhen grit his teeth in resentment. Damn it!

It works, but it doesn't.

However, since the main body is just an ordinary person without even a danger level, lacking the stat boosts of a magical girl, both the total amount of magic power and the efficiency of magic power output are too weak.

So much so that the slashes it unleashed were just like small scissors.

The technique of Imperial Chef is not top-tier in terms of mechanism, and it is extremely dependent on the user's own stats.

The potential is very high, but it's difficult to realize it.

Without numerical values, it's easy to become a gua sha practitioner.

The so-called "King's Technique" requires the value of "King" to be present; otherwise, it can only be considered an old man who can breathe.

In the following period, Mo Zhen began to study his own character development system. After all, this was a game he had designed himself.
