From Dusk till Dawn!

"Heartbroken?" Jiang Shu asked looking at the myriads of expression that flashed on her friend's face.

Li Shen sighed, "There is nothing like that."

"Don't say if you don't want to but I have to admit that this junior sister of yours has a powerful backer," She snorted before walking towards the clothes section.

Lin Shen followed after her, his face marred in confusion, "Backer? She is not that kind of girl."

"Fine, not a backer. Her boyfriend seems to be some big shot, " She murmured as she picked up a dress before checking her reflection in the mirror. Satisfaction appeared on her face at her stunning appearance.

Li Shen impatiently grabbed her shoulder before turning her around, "What do you mean to say?"

Jiang Shu sighed, "This supermodel truly matters to you, eh?" Looking at his darkening face, she shrugged before opening her mouth, "This shopping mall is closed off to the public currently. As you can see, other than the staff members, there are very few VIP customers inside and all of them are somehow related to some core staffs of Su Corporations or Su Family."

"Su Corporations?"

She nodded, "Yes, it is not known to the public but this Su Corporation is the major investor of this new mall. One needs to have an access card, a VIP entry access card to be able to enter this mall and your supermodel friend seems to be receiving special treatments too which means she must have a special access card," She remembered the shop attendant who accompanied Ying Yue till she finished her shopping.

Li Shen shook his head, "You're exaggerating it," He did not have any idea about all these things. He was here for a shoot when Jiang Shu contacted him to ask him out for shopping. Giving in to his friend's whims, he accompanied her. 

But when he decided to put on a disguise, she stopped him to do so and he was truly surprised that there was no ruckus when he walked inside the shopping mall without disguising himself. There were a few customers inside and the staff members were extremely professional.

"Do I look like I'm exaggerating?" She rolled her eyes, "Even I don't have the special access card. I just have an ordinary one which I got after begging my aunt for it," She pouted in dissatisfaction.

"How could it be possible? You are a director in Su Corporations," He was in disbelief that she was unable to get her hands on it considering her position in Su Corps.

"That's why I am saying your pretty supermodel has caught some big fish."

Li Shen pursed his lips. He did not like to think about Ying Yue having a boyfriend, it was making him uncomfortable. So, he changed the topic, "What are you doing here in the S City? I was surprised when I got your call."

Her lips tilted up slightly as she noticed a flair red dress that suited her style, "Heard some rumors in the company so came here to check it," She murmured before picking up the dress.

Li Shen's brow shot up, "Is it about him?"

A blush crept up to her cheeks making the woman look like a ripe tomato, "Yes, it is," She whispered, her eyes lowering in shyness.

Tang Li sipped her black coffee, it was too dark and bitter to her taste. She liked sweet things but somehow these days, she found it impossible to start her day without this bitterness. 

"So? Have you decided? Do you want to go back on your word and pretend like you don't owe me anything for saving your life?" She let her gaze wander on Li Yu's face, gauging out his expression.

She was mean with her words and her tone was harsh. She would have saved him even if he had nothing to offer in return.

But she did not care how people view her, they see her as a monster or a cruel person, she got nothing to do with that.

Si Xiu inwardly winced at Tang Li's blunt words. A proud man like Li Yu will never go back on his word.

Li Yu briefly closed his eyes. He was not going against Mo Yuhan's orders by doing this, he convinced himself. For a fact, Tang Li was his immediate boss even though he did not want to admit it.

He opened his eyes, sheer determination shining through them. It would be the first time he would do something he was not supposed to d, he was going against his superior's orders by doing that.

"Commander Mo…" He muttered softly.

"What?" Tang Li was bewildered. What was he trying to say?

"It is..was President's rank; he was a commander before he retired from military and took over the position of the CEO in Mo Empires. I thought you should be aware of it considering that President Tang knows it."

And President Tang he was referring to was Tang Yichen, her brother. Tang Li furrowed her brows. Did he know? Why did he never mention it? Maybe he did not think it was important, or did he simply did not want to tell her about it?

Tang Li leaned back on the armchair as a certain face popped up in her mind. The man who had mysteriously appeared in Grace Villa a few months back and was talking like he was Mo Yuhan's lover.

She got two impressions about Ye Jie the moment she saw him. First, he did not like her even one bit even though he tried to conceal it. Secondly, the man was mysterious, behind his easy-going and playful personality, he seems to have hidden many things.

"Who is Ye Jie?" She tilted her head towards Li Yu.

He put on a guarded expression in an instant, "How do you know General Ye?" 

She stood up from the armchair before walking towards the floor-to-ceiling window, a wry smile made its way on her face. General?!

What else she was not aware of?
