Hogwarts: I am Voldemort

Chapter 24 Malfoy in action

When Voldemort went to greet Dean Sprout, Malfoy Manor was bustling with activity.

The owner of the manor, Lucius Malfoy, suddenly decided to hold a grand banquet. Within two days, more than a dozen wizarding families participated.

The beautiful and spacious manor garden is covered with golden and brown carpets, food at a constant temperature is placed on the long table, and the trees are decorated with garlands.

Led by Draco Malfoy, the children ran and played in the gardens, jungles and castles, while the adults chatted in small groups.

The owner of the manor, Lucius Malfoy, was waiting for his distinguished guests in front of the manor's exquisite wrought iron gate.

Behind the castle, there is a low, dark row of bungalows. There are horse pens and warehouses here, and the most empty one among them has seven silent adults sitting inside.

"Old Goyle, why are we here?"

The only lady among the seven spoke up and asked old Goyle, who was playing with his wand, "When we come to Malfoy Manor on weekdays, we are all invited to the castle."

Old Goyle was stunned when he was asked. He looked at Old Crabbe in astonishment, but the latter's expression was also confused.

"There must be some reason, Alecto, just wait." Seeing that his companion didn't know the reason, Old Gore replied coldly.

"Then how long do we have to wait?" Alecto asked dissatisfiedly.

This was a question that Old Gore could answer, so he coughed and attracted everyone's attention before speaking again.

"Wait until Mr. Malfoy meets Minister Fudge."

"He's here too?" The person who spoke was a man with a hooked nose. He snorted disdainfully, "Malfoy always likes to get involved with them, but what's the use of that?"

"Watch your words and deeds, little Avery." Old Goyle said unkindly, "You should maintain due respect for Mr. Malfoy."

Little Avery curled his lips and said nothing, but his expression said everything.

"Old Goyle, you know Malfoy is looking for us. What's the matter?" A man dressed in rags like Alecto asked.

He is Amycus Carrow, brother and sister to Alecto Carrow, both of whom were prisoners who escaped from Azkaban.

"I don't know." Old Gouer said with great care.

"It should be to do something interesting." Little Avery is the youngest here and the most active. "We are all here, aren't we?"

As he spoke, he rolled up the sleeve of his left hand. There was a black and unclear mark there.

Everyone else looked but said nothing.

Silence returned to the warehouse again, and everyone waited quietly until soon after, Lucius Malfoy, dressed in a luxurious wizard robe, walked in.

"Guys, long wait."

He waved his wand, pulled a chair for himself, and sat on it, "Goyle, Crabbe, Alecto, Amycus, Little Avery, Nott, MacNeil, my most trusted partners. .”

He called everyone's name one by one, looked at each one and nodded, and after he finished naming everyone, he left a long pause, which whetted everyone's appetite.

"I have orders from the Dark Lord."

This simple sentence made all seven people stand up in surprise.

"Is it true?" Alecto was the quickest to ask, "The Dark Lord is summoning us?"

"Calm down and sit down."

Malfoy said calmly, "We have two tasks. The first one is easy to solve. I will arrange it for the Carlo brothers and sisters and provide enough compound potions."

Everyone took a deep breath, tried to calm down, and sat down.

Only Alecto Carlo, she said excitedly and loudly: "If that is the Dark Lord's order, I am willing to use my life to complete it."

"With Malfoy's honor, it is indeed the Dark Lord's order." Malfoy said seriously, and then said to Alecto, "But you must keep your voice down, the banquet is a cover, and I don't want them to know about the master's return. "

Alecto was still excited, but finally nodded and sat down with restraint - but his body kept twisting, looking like a patient with ADHD.

"The second mission is a little harder. We need to rob Gringotts."

One sentence made seven people take a breath.

"Master...will you participate?" Little Avery asked everyone's thoughts.

If Voldemort was involved, let alone the robbery of Gringotts, even if it was an attack on the Ministry of Magic, Hogwarts or Azkaban, they wouldn't think that would be a problem.

But if Voldemort is not involved - they must make such a guess, because the master has not been present in person, which must mean that the master has not truly returned.

"No, but we don't have to actually rob anything, just show it."

Seeing everyone heaving a sigh of relief, Malfoy resisted the urge to laugh out loud - he had also been surprised by Voldemort like this before on the phone.

Satisfying his bad taste, Malfoy introduced the content of the mission in more detail and asked everyone who could enter Gringotts to familiarize themselves with it in the past two days.

The Carrow brothers and sisters definitely couldn't do it, so Malfoy kept them after the others left.

"This is a compound potion that tracks those two drunkards and erases their memories."

After handing over the task, Malfoy handed over two bottles of magic potion and said, "Master said that you are not allowed to pay attention to the content of their memories. You only need to make rough modifications. Do you understand?"

"Understood." Alecto licked his lips and said with a somewhat crazy expression.

This made Malfoy look at her brother worriedly. Compared to the two, Brother Carlo looked more normal, although he was still very different from ordinary people.

"There will be no problem, Lucius, we are the ones who can escape from Azkaban." Brother Carlo said.

Malfoy nodded with relief, then pointed to the back of the warehouse: "There is a path there, you can leave from there."

The two nodded, then left the warehouse and left along the path.

After dealing with all this, Malfoy also left, and on his way to the garden, he met his son Draco and his friends.

"Father." Draco ran over with his friends and asked him, "What exactly is the admission ceremony to Hogwarts? We all want to know."

Lucius's slightly heavy heart became lighter because of this question.

"That's a secret."

He paused for a moment with the snake-headed wooden stick in his hand, bent down and said mysteriously, "But I can tell you, it is very dangerous."

A group of children were so frightened by him that they all swallowed the smear, and then ran away in a hurry.

"You lied to me, father." Draco said with wide eyes. "You squint your eyes every time you lie."

Lucius was stunned, but he didn't notice his little action.

"You're so smart, Draco, how should I reward you?" Lucius said, raising his wooden staff.

"You can't hit me," Draco yelled, turning around and running towards his little friend.

Lucius naturally wouldn't chase him, he just stood there and looked at his son's back with a smile.

"This is the first time you've smiled happily since you received that letter."

The inquiry sounded, and Malfoy knew that this was his wife without looking back:

Narcissa Malfoy.

"When you see a child, you see hope, right?" He turned back, hugged his wife's waist, and walked towards the front yard.

"You should share your secrets with me. You shouldn't bear everything alone." Narcissa leaned her head slightly against her husband and said softly, "I know what it means when those people gather together."

"I knew I couldn't hide it from you, but I still didn't want to tell you."

Malfoy stopped, held his wife in his arms, and said, "I can take care of the outside matters by myself. You have to take care of this family."

Narcissa nodded in her husband's arms, without saying a word, just caressing her husband's back twice with her hands.

All this must be difficult, Lucius... Narcissa thought.
