I grimaced upon seeing the women who had become a lump of flesh. Those women were squirming disgustingly. A mass of thorns were growing from the headless part of them, as if trying to replace the shape of a head. All 9 women, or to be more precise, all 9 monsters, moved their scarred lower bodies, slowly advancing forward to me. 

“Leave them to me. I’ll be their opponent.”

I said to Alaine who was busy fighting the evil god. 

“Yeah! I’m counting on you!”

Alaine replied cheerfully. 

“Hoi.”

I summoned a lot of magic swords and pointed it at those 9 monsters. 

“Here I go.”

Hundreds of magic swords were raining down on them but despite that, those women kept on dragging their unsightly body to me. They received my magic sword as it was, and didn’t even look the least deterred. 

“Huh?”

Over a hundred magic swords pierced through them… Or so it was supposed to be. For some reason, when the magic sword touched their body, the magic sword turned into particles of light and disappeared. It was as if those women absorbed the particles of light. 

“What?”

I tilted my head to the side, confused at what was happening. 

“Hoi.”

Once again, I summoned one magic sword and launched it at them again but just like the previous magic swords, that single magic sword became particles of light before disappearing. 

“Hmm… So magic swords are not effective against them?”

Maybe because the magic sword that evil god is using is stronger than mine?

“Phew…”

Kicking the ground, I immediately closed the distance with them. If my abilities had no meaning here, that meant I needed to hit them with physical attack. 

It was just that simple. 

I swung my fist down at one of the women. 

“Mnh!”

My fist was caught by the thorns growing from the woman’s head. The thorn then started intertwining around my arm. 

……How annoying.

“『Black Fire』.”

I used magic. The black fire that wouldn’t stop until everything was reduced to ash, burned the thorn down. 

Oh? Apparently I can use magic against them…………If they’re stronger than me then shouldn’t they be able to use magic too?

“……..”

“You’re so slow, you know?”

After my arm was released from the constrict of her thorn, I kicked her in the stomach. Her wounded stomach made a squelching sound upon the impact with my feet. 

“………They’re too slow.”

One after another, the woman kept on jumping on me but their movement was way too slow. I burned their thorns with black flames and hit them with either my fist or leg. It was a one-sided battle. 

“Maybe they’re not me from a different perspective?”

I thought these women were made as meta characters for me but… They were way too weak for that.

………….Maybe the reason why my magic swords didn’t work on them has nothing to do with me…?
