I made ritual tools. At first I thought these guys were stronger than me so ritual tools wouldn’t be effective against them too. If the evil god could also use ritual tools that were stronger than me then my ritual tools shouldn’t be effective against these women either. But… These women were way too weak. I made a generic water bottle but instead of ordinary water, it was filled with holy water that could purify everything. From disease to wound, it could heal anything. Since these guys looked similar to a zombie, I assumed holy water could work against them. 

With that simple reasoning, I attacked those women with holy water. 

“HYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!”

Those women shrieked in an overwhelming voice as their body started to melt. It was as if their shriek was enough to pierce through my eardrums. To my surprise, my prediction was right about holy water though. 

What’s the point of all those hardships I had to endure just before? 

The body of those pitiful women melted in the blink of an eye. All that was left in their place was a shard of stone. 

“……Just what is this stone fragment?”

Looking at the leftover stone shard, I tilted my head to the side. I outstretched my arm toward it, about to pick it up when…

THUD!!

Something hit the ground. 

“Heave-ho!”

Startled, I took a step backward. The thing that hit the ground just now was that evil god. 

“Hey! Don’t drop it on me! You startled me!”

I raised my voice in protest toward Alaine. She must be the one who slammed this evil god toward me. 

“Sorry, sorry!”

Alaine kicked the air and fell toward me at overwhelming speed. 

“Geez! But Alaine, it seems you’re already done with your part too?”

“Yeah. I’m done. Man, it was really hard.”

“……I-I see.”

Alaine approached the battered evil god.

Alaine pointed her extended Heavenly Sword at the evil god.

But before Alaine’s Heavenly Sword could end it for us, the magic sword that evil god had been holding onto fell to the ground.
