As soon as she arrived at the Regnz mansion, Chleo was welcomed by two little girls with identical faces with different hair colors coming up to her and hugging her waist.

"Chleo! We've been waiting for you for so long!" exclaimed the girl with reddish-brown hair. While the other one with dark red hair just nodded her head in agreement with her sister.

Chleo smiled amusedly. Her dark red hair cousin was still a stingy talker.

"I miss you, girls, too. Muach, muach." Chleo bent down to give Melodie and Harmonie a quick peck on the forehead, making both of them smile widely.

After getting a kiss from their eldest sister, the two immediately ran to Diego and climbed onto the young man's feet. One stood on the right foot while the other was on the left.

"Ughhh… you guys are gaining weight… I can't move." groaned Diego pretended to lift his legs with difficulty making the two little girls giggle.

"Why haven't you guys slept yet? It's ten o'clock, right?" asked Chleo, who suddenly remembered their bedtime.

"They are waiting for you. They said they don't want to sleep until they welcome you."

"Uncle Stanley!" now it was Chleo's turn to rush to hug one of her favorite uncles.

Stanley chuckled as he kissed Chleo's cheek, "Wow, you're big now. One year goes by so fast."

"Of course I am. Are you staying for a month too?"

"That was the plan, but your dad managed to persuade me to stay until February."

"February? What's with February?"

"Who knows. Why don't you ask your father?" Stanley answered in a mysterious tone.

In other words, Chleo had to face Vincent right away. Ugh... she wanted to hide for some reason. Chleo felt like she was caught red-handed committing a sinful act and now had to attend the trial.

Chleo and the others promptly entered the room as the cold weather assault their bodies. Stanley didn't want those twin-faced kids to get sick.

Once inside, Chleo and Diego and the Bernz family were warmly welcomed by the others. There was Uncle Kinsey, Uncle Steve, and Aunt Tanya, along with their families. There was also Aunt Vanvan and their grandma from Vincent's side and their two grandfathers from Cathy's side.

Her mother's sisters and their husbands also joined them.

It was the first time that everyone had gathered in one place as if they were attending a wedding. Usually, at an annual event like this, there would be someone who couldn't come. But now, they were all able to participate because this had been planned one year in advance.

Vincent intentionally built a resort on a private island in Honolulu for an event like this. The retreat place was finished and ready to use. Before it was opened as a resort facility for the higher-up class, Vincent wanted to use it as a vacation facility with his and his wife's entire family.

Moreover, winter on the island of Honolulu was not as cold as in New York and its surroundings which has now reached zero degrees Celsius.

It was the perfect place to spend their holiday week while celebrating the new year and the twins' tenth birthday.

Melodie and Harmonie were nicknamed the twins even though they had different parents. After all, their faces were almost identical, like twins. The only difference was the hair color. The height, face shape, and eye color were the same, so people who had just seen them would think they were twins.

Coincidentally, their birthday was on the 30th, right on New Year's Eve. Therefore they planned to celebrate their birthday at the resort and then feast on the new year together.

Ah, it must be enjoyable to gather together and play together with a crowd like this. Chleo couldn't wait to leave for Honolulu.

"When are we leaving?"

"Tomorrow morning at nine. We will board a private jet belonging to the Flex group family." Katie explained as she took her youngest daughter's hand to coax her to sleep. "You should sleep now. You promised that you would go to sleep as soon as Chleo and Diego arrived."

"Awww..." all of Chleo's cousins ​​, including Kenken and the twin boys, scoffed as well.

Cathy laughed, amused by her nieces and nephews' cute protest. She then helped her sister-in-law to guide the children to sleep in the rooms that had been provided.

Fortunately, Vincent has devised many rooms with distinctive designs. Some rooms have cute and girly designs, and some are designed with superhero or animated cartoon themes. Every time someone visits his house and wants to stay overnight, the guest room accommodates their kids.

It's different with Kinsey. He does have rooms that serve the same purpose, but he doesn't have as many rooms as this house. Besides, he didn't really like crowds and preferred privacy with his family.

That's why, before leaving for the resort together, their meeting point and gathering place was at Vincentius Regnz's estate.

"By the way, Chleo," Uncle Kinsey suddenly called out.

"Yes, uncle?"

"Your father is waiting for you in his study."

Chleo gulped nervously. Surely her father wanted to talk about her lover. It seems like Uncle Kinsey already knows this too. After all, one of her new bodyguards was also a subordinate of Kinsey.

"Is he going to scold me?"

Kinsey gently stroked the top of her head. "Listen to what your father said first. Don't argue or dispute. You should understand how your father feels now. He was protecting you and worried about you all this time, but suddenly he heard his daughter was in a relationship with a stranger.
