Diego's jaw hardened hearing this. What his uncle said was true. If their enemy was just an ordinary human, then they could defeat him and protect the people they care about with ease.

Diego recalled Yuna's Vectis's warning that one of the Vectis was roaming in this world and had its eyes on his sister.

Was it possible that the one who threatened his sister was Vectis? Was the person who killed his sister in his previous life actually a Vectis?

Because of his interest, he secretly sought to find out anything about the rulers of nature. From the start, he knew that this world had four rulers along with their guardian beasts, and Vectis who occasionally came to this world.

"What do you mean, uncle?" Diego's confused inquiry brought Stanley to reality.

"You'll find out someday. So, if you've confirmed that your enemy isn't an ordinary human, feel free to let me know. I will help you."

Diego was very curious to what extent his uncle knew about mystical creatures. He was very curious whether his uncle was accompanied by one of the Vectis or not. He wanted to ask to confirm this but couldn't bear the risk.

If his suspicions were wrong and Stanley found nothing about this mystical creature, he would only reveal his secret.

And yet, he was curious how his uncle helped him to defeat the non-human creature.

He wondered if Stanley knew about Maximillian's real identity. What would the older man do once he knew that Chleo's lover was a blue king?
