The challenge event to get gifts is still ongoing. The longer the challenge more daring.

Like when it was Diego's turn who challenged Vincent to sing while dancing, it was so stiff to the point made them all laugh. Or when Chleo challenged Kinsey to dance to a k-pop song currently worldwide, Katie and Cathy laughed out loud until the tears escaped from their eyes.

Diego and Chleo knew very well the gifts they had prepared for their father and uncle. So they deliberately took the presents to challenge their father and uncle.

What an exhausted Christmas celebration! Complained Vincent and Kinsey in their mind.

Then it was time for Lizzy to take the gift that was meant for Melodie. They've been trying to get the little girl's surprise gift, but it seems the gifts for her were piled deep and a bit out of reach.

"This gift is for Melodie. And I'd like you to sing while all of us here dance. How about it?"

Others immediately clapped their hands in agreement with this challenge. They were very excited to hear the beautiful voice of Melodie, the daughter of a former jazz singer who had a sexy voice.

Meli pursed her lips while sulking at her mother. Katie chuckled and rubbed the top of her daughter's head.

"The gift would be given to someone else if you refuse it." her mother's word only brought despair on the poor little girl.

"Come on, Mel. Come here to pick a song," coaxed Abi gently.

With a frown, Meli walked towards the stage with heavy steps. Then look at the list of songs that were there before finally choosing a piece that she knows.

As soon as the music started, the young couples moved to dance casually to the rhythm of the melodious music. On the other hand, the teenagers danced to imitate their parents in a different way. There were three of them in a circle holding hands, and there were also the two of them. Chleo danced hand in hand with the twins Richard and Raymond while Diego danced with Moni.

After the intro part finished, Melodie's melodious voice sounded fully for the first time since they arrived at the resort. For a moment, everyone who had been dancing stopped their activity and looked at Meli in amazement.

Even Kinsey himself was astonished to hear his daughter's voice. Everyone was stunned and was too mesmerized to forget their dance… except for Katie.

Only Katie had memorized her daughter's beautiful voice. When alone with her, Meli often talked to her about many things. However, when Kendrich and Kinsey were present, Meli spoke only a little but was not completely mute when her father talked to her.

It's a different story if a stranger invited her to talk. Meli didn't answer nor respond as if she couldn't speak.

This was the first time Kinsey had heard his daughter sing in such a beautiful voice. He always missed it when Meli practiced singing at home because he worked in the company and didn't know that his daughter had been practicing singing with Katie all this time.

The surprise gift challenge event continued until the last gift, and it's time to open the gifts they got. This activity was the highlight of the anticipated event, especially for Meli and Moni and the twins.

The sound of torn wrapping paper sounded harmoniously followed by happy screams from all around because they were delighted with what they got.

Some women got perfume, and some got branded handbags at fantastic prices and various cosmetic tools that were very popular among women.

On the other hand, men got the things they like, such as watches, elegant ties, or briefcases made of the highest quality leather.

The Wu brothers gasped when they got a limited edition watch with the same model and color. The watch was custom-made, and there were only three in this world. But now they got it, each leaving more than half in their hands.

And they were even more surprised when they got plane tickets and romantic hotel reservations suitable for their honeymoon in Paris. The tickets were listed for next summer vacation, which is a few months later!

The Wu family belonged to an upper-class family but was not a super-rich class and still had several debts in installments that they had to pay off. To go on vacation to a far country, they must rethink and try to be economical.

But now, they have a limited edition watch, and they had the opportunity to vacation in America and Paris shortly.

Vincent did give them tickets to take their wife on vacation to Paris. After all, he already treated Cathy's sisters as his own, and he would do anything to make them happy.

Pierre Zouch also got the same watch from Kinsey because he was the husband of Anastasia, Cathy's second sister.

After unwrapping all the surprise gifts, they went to the front yard to watch the festive fireworks to finish this Christmas celebration.

Cathy looked at each of her family's faces with a big smile. Neither of them had a sullen or annoyed face. All were filled with joyous faces and sparkling eyes.

'Mother, do you see it? I managed to bring this family together.' Cathy looked up at the sky, which was now filled with beautiful colors as if these colors were the manifestation of her late mother.

"Are you happy?" whispered her husband as he wrapped his arms around her waist and drew closer to her.

"More than you know," she answered with a satisfied smile on her face.

Vincent kissed his wife's forehead then went back to enjoying the fireworks display.
