Ice Prince: Rewrite The Star

Chapter 160 - Ch. 160 He Remembered

Max was awake not long after Chleo fell asleep. Max woke up slowly so as not to wake Chleo, who was still fast asleep. He was sure Chleo's body would ache from sleeping in such an uncomfortable position. Max shouldn't have used the girl's feet as his pillow. Now he regretted it a bit.

At first, Max thought he wouldn't fall asleep because his mind would

focus on regenerating his energy. But who would have thought, as soon as he felt the soft 'pillow' on his head, his mind instantly went blank and fell asleep immediately.

Max slowly carried Chleo's much smaller body with one hand under Chleo's shoulder and the other under the girl's thigh.

As per her sleeping habits, Chleo fidgeted and tucked her head

into the crook of Max's neck to find a comfortable position. She seemed to have taken Max's cold neck as her favorite pillow.

What Chleo did make a certain someone choked and helplessly tried to stay firm in his place. Not to mention the girl's breath that tickled his neck shook his faith.

He had to release this girl immediately before he couldn't resist this girl's 'temptation.'

Using his teleport ability, Max and Chleo in his arms arrived at Chleo's modest house in a second. He laid the girl down on her bedroom bed with great care as if the girl was a precious object that could break easily.

After covering her with the blanket, Max returned to his house to get Chleo's things. In just a flick, the items had moved into Chleo's house. Max decided not to sleep and stayed on the back balcony.

He looked up at the dark sky as he thought back to what had been

in his mind before he fell unconscious.

Little girl with black hair.

Max was pretty sure it was the girl who showed up in his study at the mansion the first day he arrived in Seattle.

'I will be waiting for you.'

The girl also said she would wait for him, but Max couldn't

understand why the girl wanted to wait for him at that time.

Max smiled amusedly as the memories of little Chleo started to

come back to his mind. He remembered he had indeed met little Chleo in Germany.

Someone kidnapped Chleo, and he saved her. He also remembered all the events about the red queen and Kinsey in Germany.

He remembered everything that had happened since he was back in the past. The times he became Vasili for the second time, invited Vincent to Ukraine, and healed the stab wound to Kinsey's stomach... He remembered it all.

Maxmillian finally remembered everything, yet strangely he still couldn't remember anything that happened before he came back to this time. He still couldn't recall the face of the dark-red-haired girl and the reason why the violet king reversed the world's time.

Fye had indeed told him the reason, but he still couldn't remember.

He didn't even remember why he wanted to help the red queen.

The red and blue kings were against each other and would avoid

each other if both were in the same place. One had the main element of fire, while the other was ice. If the two were at the prime of their strength, their two sources of life energy would injure each other's astral souls if they got close together.

That's why Max couldn't understand why he would take the risk to

get close to the red queen, let alone often help the flame queen.

'I'll be waiting for you at the place where we first met every

tenth.'

Max also made this promise to little Chleo. He was sure he had a reason for making a promise, but now Max couldn't remember the reason. He didn't even know where they first met. When had he ever met Chleo before?

The longer he wanted to find the answer, the more exhausted his soul was. Hence, he tried to think something else.

He remembered Chleo had told him about the ice prince who took her into the ocean and mounted on a killer whale.

Now that he had his memory back, Max couldn't hide his happy smile.

Ah, it turned out that he was the ice prince. It turned out

that the person accompanying little Chleo on the whale was him. How would the girl react if she knew that Max was the girl's ice prince?

He couldn't wait to tell her.

Chleo blinked in confusion as her eyelids opened lazily.

Facial expression as if to say 'who am I?' 'where am I?' 'what happened to me?' filled her face.

She stretched her muscles by pulling her arms up to raise her body

slightly before falling back onto her bed.

Her eyes darted to the bedroom window, where the sunlight had

entered through the transparent pink curtain fabric. At the same time, a flash of memory of Max sleeping on her thigh flashed through her brain, making her gasp.

Chleo quickly investigated the surroundings of this room and just

realized she was in her room!

Was Max the one driving her home?

Aw… that guy does what he says. The man did take her home.

Chleo laid back comfortably while flashing a broad smile. Her

feelings for the man grew, and she was delighted and grateful to have met a man like Max.

Without knowing that Max was making breakfast for her, Chleo

closed her eyes again, enjoying her laziness a little longer. She reflexively wonders what day it is or what time it is?

Without opening her eyes, one hand moved to the side where her

nightstand was. Usually, she would put her phone there. Since her hands didn't immediately find what she was looking for, Chleo opened her eyes reluctantly.

Where's her phone? Wait a minute. Where is her usual sling bag?

Chleo promptly stood up and left the room to look for her bag.

As soon as the door opened, a delicious scent made her forget

her purpose in leaving the room.

Chleo followed the mouth-watering scent and was very surprised at what she saw.

"Oh, you're awake. Good morning."

Ba-thump!!

Why did the man's smile always make her lose her breath? And the morning effect boosted his handsomeness in her just-awake eyes.
