Ice Prince: Rewrite The Star

Max had finished making breakfast when he heard the sound of the door slamming open. He thought Chleo was awake, so he put down his cooking utensil and turned off the stove to come over to Chleo.

Surprisingly, the girl seemed to be daydreaming outside the courtyard. He remembered he had brought Chleo here when she was a little girl. Could it be the girl starting to remember this place?

How would Chleo react when she realized that he was the ice prince who had helped her in the past?

"Chleo, are you awake?" Max suppressed a smile as he tried to act clueless.

But it was hard for Max not to smile, especially when Chleo's expression was so epic. Her mouth was wide open so were her eyes. Not to mention her brownish-black hair, which was a bit messy, creating a sexy impression instead of a cute and innocent figure.

"You… you are the ice prince?" Chleo's voice was almost a whisper in disbelief. How could she believe it?

Chleo remembered well that her ice prince was around her uncle's age. How could the ice prince still look young even after dozen years?

"You finally remembered it?" There was an amused tone in Max's voice as he walked out to his lover.

Chleo was too shocked and still thought she was dreaming. Her gaze was as if hypnotized and couldn't be taken away from those pair of blue eyes. She didn't even realize Max had wrapped his arms around her waist and closed any gaps between them.

"You… really are the ice prince? The one who took me to play in the ocean and also… mounted a whale?"

"Hmm. I also made camellia flowers bloom on your birthday." Max continued making Chleo hold her breath once again.

Mamamia! She had been searching for the ice prince in vain all this time, but this guy appeared when she gave up on looking for the ice prince?! And suddenly, she became the ice prince's lover?!

Is it a dream? It must be a dream. She must be dreaming.

"You don't believe me?"

"No. It's too unreal. How can you be the ice prince? This… feels unreal. I…"

"!?" Chleo held her breath, and she seemed to turn into a statue instantly. The sound of her heart pounding was so painful it made her ears ring.

That was her first kiss! And… too fast!!

"Do you know my suffering when I brought you here for the first time?" Chleo shook her head as she couldn't find her voice that suddenly disappeared somewhere, "Because I have to restrain myself."

"From this." As if he could read her mind, Max once again kissed her on the lips. Only this time, he kissed her by sucking her lips a little harder and lingering there for a while. After he felt the girl couldn't breathe, Max let go and gave a crooked smile that made Chleo blush with extreme embarrassment.

Chleo subconsciously moistened her lips with her tongue as she lowered her head because she couldn't look her lover in the eye.

This was their first official first kiss, and yet this man didn't give her a break.

Chleo cleared her throat a few times to lessen her nervousness, then asked something that took Max by surprise.

"That means you are the blue king?"

"..."

"Aunt Katie said the one who brought me home safely was the blue king."

"Ah, so you know me from your aunt. That means you already know what I can do?"

"Hmm… I don't know. I only know that you can move places, control water, and summon sea animals… and can also cook?"

Max laughed at the girl's mischievous tone and eye play, followed by an amused laugh from Chleo.

"You hungry? I made breakfast for both of us."

"I'm starving, but I'm too lazy to move," said Chleo as she buried her face into her lover's chest. "I like it here more."

She felt content being hugged tightly by her lover. She felt safe and complete when Max's big body overshadowed hers. Chleo felt so stupid. This man's body temperature was obviously as cold as ice, but she didn't realize this man was her ice prince?

After enjoying the man's embrace for a while, Chleo shifted her head to look at her lover. There were so many things she wanted to ask, but she didn't know if she should ask.

"You can ask whatever you want."

Chleo smiled widely, hearing this. She knew Max was the best at reading her facial expressions, so she just looked at Max without saying anything.

"There's a lot I don't understand, but I want to know one thing. Was yesterday I… Did I fell from a high place? Were you the one who saved me by using your abilities?"

"..." It wasn't that Max didn't want to answer, but he didn't want Chleo to remember the frightful situations like yesterday.

"I'm fine. I'm not a weak child like when you saved me the first time. I just want to know where I was kidnapped and fell. Can you take me there?"

"Are you sure?"

"Hmm. I'm sure."

"Don't let go of your hand, okay?"

"Of course, I won't," she replied with a happy smile and then tightened her arms around Max's waist again.

The next second, they were no longer in Max's astral world but on the roof of a very tall building. Without letting go of her grip, Chleo glanced to her right and left.

She saw a pillar that became the foundation of a ceramic ceiling on the right, which was now her foothold. On her left, there was nothing, but it went straight down and would surely die if she fell from this place.

Was she lying on this ceiling? Even if she shifted to the right, she would still fall, but at least she wouldn't die because the roof was only about five meters from the ground. Chleo might get injured or break a bone, but she wouldn't die.

On the contrary, if she fell from the left side…

Chleo couldn't imagine what her body would look like once it hit the ground. She shuddered at the thought.

Then Chleo glanced to the right again, looking for something and her eyes saw a nameplate with huge letters.

She's on the roof of her father's company?! That means she's in New York?? How could that be?

Chleo looked back at Max with a questioning look.

"I know what you're thinking, but I don't know the answer either. We'd better get out of here."

Then they disappeared from the roof of the building as if they had never been there before.
