What is the scariest monster in the world?

There really aren't any monsters in the human world other than those that appear in occult-themed movies or variety shows.

But, there are monsters called demons that live in human hearts.

A ruthless person who didn't even bat an eye when torturing or killing others could be called a monster.

Clowns could be considered monsters by small children who were afraid of clowns. But in the eyes of teenagers or adults, a clown doing his job could make them all laugh.

So, a monster basically didn't exist in the human world. The word itself arose because the perception of someone was different. For example, a person who was disabled or had burns on his face would not dare to present themselves to others. The people who saw it would spontaneously pin the word 'monster' to this disabled person.

In other words, there were no monsters in the human world physically. But it seemed different with this realm.

The alien creatures currently coming out of the split underground were worthy of being called monsters. Even the term monster could not describe what Chu Jung and Harmonie saw.

Its enormous body, perhaps even as high as a mountain, because only half of its body that came out could cover most of the sky. Harmonie and Chu Jung had never encountered a creature like this one before.

When this creature reached the surface, Chu Jung and Harmonie saw several tentacles surrounding the creature's lower body. This monster was almost the same as the octopus, the sea animal in their world, but this one was a giant version.

The difference was that this creature's head was like a bald alien head with an enormous cranium. There were four human-like eyes on its face, along with three small holes that form like lips under the eyes. However, the rulers' guardian beasts were sure the three holes were not the mouth but the nose.

Just as they were wondering where the monster's mouth was, they got the answer soon enough.

The monster seized some of the Vectis, trying to escape from it with its tentacles, then brought it down and…

"!?"

The monster's mouth was under its head! And just now, that monster stuffed a large number of Vectis into its mouth!!

The octopus-like monster's mouth was in a large circle like a cave entrance, and rows of teeth like shark teeth lined the loop around his mouth.

That's a monster for you!

"Wait, before this, we fought against Vectis-eating plants, and now we are dealing with Vectis-eating beast?"

"You mean we are lucky because we are human? Are you stupid? You don't see those big tentacles moving fast and nimbly. We will be its happy meal if we get caught."

"Then what should we do? Hiding?" Chu Jung didn't like to hide, but when faced with a monster of unknown origin, let alone what kind of power it was, Chu Jung was better off retreating.

Chu Jung was indeed young and green, but at least he wasn't a fool who immediately attacked without recognizing his opponent's weakness.

"Gale Master, what should we do? It's getting closer!"

The octopus-like monsters creep towards them who are hiding behind large rocks, and slowly the creepy monsters would notice their presence and target them.

They were lucky enough because a large group of Vectis there became that octopus-like monster's big feast.

"It's weird. Why do I feel like I've encountered that beast before?"

"Ha?" the Yellow King had faced off against a monster that lived in a world of Vectis?

Harmonie was pensive in silence to dig up her memories of this monster.

Harmonie had never met this octopus-like creature physically, but her predecessors had. She could feel it, but she couldn't remember what her predecessor had experienced in an instant.

You could say that there was an extensive library in Harmonie's brain. Inside were various historical books containing the memories of the previous yellow king.

Without wasting time, Harmonie concentrated on finding books that contained information about this monster. For now, their position was safe because the starving monster didn't sense them.

However, they couldn't fly to escape because once they flew and the monster saw them, there was no guarantee that they would be able to escape once the monster's tentacles caught them.

While they were hiding in silence while waiting for Harmonie to find information about the monster, Max, and Luna who could see through Alpha's and Falcon's eyes, were starting to get worried.

It was also their first time seeing such a terrifying monster. And the beast hadn't even come out completely from the hole caused by the earthquake crack.

Its frame was rather gigantic, and they couldn't imagine how many larger it was in its full size.

At first, they thought the Vectis realm was relatively safe as long as the inhabitants were fellow Vectis. But who would have thought that there was a hazardous Vectis-eating monster in this world?

And it seems that any attack from Vectis didn't work at all against the monster. On the other hand, the sound and pressure of the monster's attack grew more robust when it was hit by fire.

Chu Jung, who was planning to release his fire monster to attack, retreated his own plan. He didn't want to take the risk of strengthening the beast with his fire.

The monster's voice grew louder and louder until it reached Chleo and Ashley's ears.

"What sound is that?"

There was no answer from Max or Luna. Even the newly arrived Vectis was clueless, for he had teleported before the octopus-like monster appeared from below.

It was just that he recognized the monster's voice and instantly turned pale and shuddered in horror.

Besides the Vectis-eating rooted plants, there was one more massive Vectis-eating creature in this world. This monster would usually hibernate after being satiated with eating Vectis. It would sleep for a hundred to two hundred years.

But, didn't that monster devour its fill fifty years ago? Why was the monster awake earlier than expected?

Harmonie, who was still busy searching for her memories of this monster, screamed with joy when she found the book she was looking for. Without further ado, she skimmed it.

At the same time, in the violet king's astral world, Fye clapped her hands together like she was brushing the dust off her hands. She looked at the several unconscious Vectis with a cheerful heart.

Thanks to the animal for defending this realm against these Vectis, the number of her opponent was much lessening. Her strength had now recovered to its maximum. Facing the rest of Vectis was a trivial matter for her.

Now, what should she do?

Should she stay here until she gets bored, or should she catch up with her friends to the other side?

Unfortunately, she wouldn't be able to open the layers of the Vectis world portal door alone. Neither did she like having to wait here because she had been waiting for more than three days, and she felt incredibly bored.

So… what should she do now?

The next second, Fye felt a strong gust of wind nearby, causing her wary. The storm was not her doing, and she was sure that no Vectis would dare to attack her back.

So, where did this strong wind come from?

"How about I give you a hand to the other side?"

Fye had to close her eyes because of how strong the wind was. But when she recognized the voice, Fye relaxed in her place and was no longer alert. Instead, a broad smile emerged on her face.

"Is there any word you want me to convey? After knowing you for so many years, you never aid me without asking for something."

"Precisely. I have a word for the blue king."

"I will do it. As usual." Fye still closed her eyes because the wind still hadn't let up even though she was chatting with one of the rulers from the upper world.

Aslan, never let an ordinary human or Vectis see his true form. No one knew what the ruler of this upper world looked like. Is it shaped like a human? Or form like an animal?

However, one thing was for sure… Aslan always appeared with a strong wind and his voice like a thousand people talking at the same time.

Back to the Vectis realm, Harmonie summoned Falcon and relayed the information she had just finished reading.

"Max, come here right now! Its weakness is ice!"

Max winced at this, then glanced at Chleo worriedly. He could have gone straight to help his friends, but at the same time, he didn't want to leave his wife alone.

Noticing her boyfriend's doubtful gaze, Chleo smiled gently before saying, "Go, I'll be fine here."

Max walked over to Chleo to take her in his arms.

"Promise me you're not going anywhere. Wait until I come back."

"En."

After giving Chleo a light kiss on the forehead, Max snapped his finger once before teleporting to the chaos.
