Ice Prince: Rewrite The Star

Chapter 283 - Ch. 283 First-Acquaintance Event (part 2)

After accompanying the two adorable Asian little girls for a few minutes with great patience, finally, the Calvin brothers made their appearance.

Kendrich took Michelle and Anxia to meet his cousin, who had just arrived from the Netherlands this afternoon. And Kendrich couldn't help but tease his cousin when he saw Richard stroking his ear with a frown on his face.

"Hey, Richie, don't tell me, Aunt Mei tweak your ear again."

Richard rolled his eyes lazily at his cousin's mocking words.

"Wow, Kenken. I didn't know you had two daughters." Raymond teased as if he was defending his brother.

"Hahaha… Since when did you become a babysitter? Did you start a child care business?" Richard teased as if he wanted to repay Kendrich's teasing.

"Richie," Raymond oddly called him in a warning tone??

"What?"

"That's uncalled for." Raymond made his point clear by shifting his eyes to the sisters.

Kendrich could only shake his head when he saw Richard's protesting gaze towards his twins as if to say, 'What does that have to do with me?'

"Let's pretend they are Moni and Meli. You don't want our two sisters to be treated like that by other teenagers, do you?"

Kendrich gave two thumbs up silently at Raymond. Even though Richard was born a few minutes ahead of Raymond, sometimes Raymond's way of thinking and attitude was more mature than Richard's.

But…

Kendrich still felt more comfortable when he was with Richard. Richard would never rebuke him nor give him an earful. On the contrary, if he were with Raymond, he would feel like playing with his mother or some other adult who would forbid him from doing this and that.

"I'm sorry. I was teasing my brother, and I had absolutely no intention of making fun of you." Richard offered his apology to the girls.

Michelle, who had felt guilty for being a burden to strangers, raised her head and took Richard's hand to sign that she had accepted Richard's apology.

"Thank you." replied the girl sheepishly.

"My name is Raymond, you?"

"Michelle. And this is my sister, Anxia."

"My name is Anxia; nice to meet you." stated the girl with a sweet honey-like smile.

"Hello, Xiao Xia. How old are you?"

"I will turn eight this year."

"That's amazing. You can speak in our language fluently with your age."

The cute little girl widened her smile, showing a row of brilliant white teeth. "Thank you, gege. It took me ages to master it."

"Please, just call me Ray."

"En. Okay, Ray." chimed Anxia excitedly as if she got a new toy.

Raymond elbowed Richard to introduce himself to Anxia, but the little girl had already spoken when Richard was about to talk to Anxia.

"Jiejie, I'm hungry," Anxia whined as she tugged at the hem of Michelle's shirt spoiled.

Anxia's whimper made Kendrich almost laugh.

"Richie, you've made a little girl hate you."

"Tsk. I don't care." Richard replied nonchalantly, shrugging his shoulders.

As long as it wasn't his little sister who hated him, he didn't care about the other little ones.

"Hold on a moment, Xiao Xia. The adults still haven't made their way to the dining table. It's rude to eat before the elders."

"Come on, Jiejie. Please, please?"

"No, still no," Michelle answered firmly while using her mother tongue.

But the little girl still didn't give up. She put on puppy eyes and then tilted her head to look at Kendrich.

"Michelle, we can grab some light snacks to fill our stomachs for a while. How about we go to the sweet corner?" offered Kendrich as he didn't have the heart to refuse this little girl's pleading look.

"I want! I want!" Anxia immediately let go of her sister's arm and went straight to Kendrich.

"Let's go there!" she exclaimed while tugging Kendrich's hand with her two tiny hands.

"Looks like your sister found her favorite gege."

Michelle sighed at Raymond's comment. "Please, excuse my sister. She usually not like this."

"That's okay. She's sweet." Raymond offered a warm, friendly smile but managed to make Michelle's heart flutter wildly.

Michelle immediately lowered her head to hide the blush on her face.

Although Richard and Raymond were identical twins, their nature and liking differed.

Raymond was more of a person who thinks before he speaks, while Richard was blunt without thinking ahead.

But as Michelle conversed with Richard for a bit longer, she realized that Richard wasn't intentionally offending other people either. Richard was much quieter and preferred not to speak when dealing with strangers. But when with the people closest to him, Richard was more talkative and ignorant.

After ensuring Anxia sat down with the chocolate cake she was eating, Michelle chatted with Raymond and Richard. These two were admired by adults so much that the boys were overwhelmed as they had to keep smiling and be nice.

When they managed to escape the clutches of the older women who were eager to be their in-laws, the boys directly sat down to Michelle and Kendrich.

That's when Michelle realized her sister was no longer in her seat made her heart almost stop.

Where is Xiao Xia? Hadn't she warned her sister not to go anywhere?

They were in a foreign land, and their parents had not yet arrived here. Michelle alerted Kendrich, and instantly the teenager panicked with her.

Typical of Kendrich, who panicked, he immediately sought Diego's help to help him find Anxia.

"You, really. What were you doing that you didn't know a child left your side?"

Kendrich pursed his lips at his cousin's comment, "Come help me look for her. If my father found out, I might be split in two."

"I think I'd like to see it," Diego teased in a witty tone that made Kendrich furious. "Alright, alright. I'll have Miyu hack into this place's security system."

It didn't take long to find the lost girl. "Miyu found her, and Richard is walking with her here."

Just as Diego told him, he saw Richard enter the room hand in hand with little Anxia.
