The next day, there was a commotion at Seattle University. More precisely, in the art building.

Ashley Gray, the daughter of a government official, suddenly causes a stir in Chleo's class. She accused Chleo of breaking the locker containing her belongings which made absolutely no sense.

Each student's locker had a key in the form of a numeric password. How could Chleo know the password and damage the things inside?

Ridiculously, Ashley said her locker had been broken for the past few days, so outsiders could easily open her locker. If it's already damaged, why not report it or replace the locker door?

Ashley believed Chleo had done something to her laptop as her revenge. She was sure Chleo's laptop was broken so that she couldn't turn in the essay on time. But in reality, Chleo's laptop was fixed, and the girl could turn in her essay as promised. Instead, it was her laptop that was damaged.

Not just plain damage, but completely beyond repair, and all the data that has been stored on it cannot be recovered. Frustrated and blinded by jealousy, Ashley thought Chleo was the one who broke her laptop.

That's why she deliberately made false evidence where she could slander Chleo for damaging her laptop. She was lucky to have an expert and hacker under her father's leadership, so now they could create a piece of fake video evidence against Chleo.

Poor clueless Chleo now was surrounded by Ashley's group in no time, and they all demanded an explanation from her. They took advantage of this opportunity before Chleo met Evie, who was in a different class. Who would want to defend a poor kid like Chleo West if Evie wasn't by her side?

Chleo was still calm and straight-faced, as if there was no commotion going on around her. She did nothing wrong. Why should she be afraid?

"Just admit that you flushed the contents of Ash's locker. Maybe this kind-hearted Miss Grey will give you a light penalty." said one of Ashley's gang.

"On what basis are you saying I broke the locker? Do you have any proof?"

"I know you would speak like that. Do you think I wouldn't come without bringing evidence? Here's the proof!" Ashley arrogantly played a CCTV video around Ashley's locker.

There Chleo saw herself walking towards Ashley's locker with a bottle of water. Chleo in the video opened the locker and unlid the drink bottle. She flushed the entire contents with the liquid.

Chleo's brows furrowed in disbelief, seeing this ridiculous video. She did remember that she walked past the lockers with a bottle of water. But she just walked past it and didn't approach the lockbox at all. She didn't even know Ashley's locker was there.

It doesn't make sense!

But, why is the culprit had her face? Could this be an edited video?

Who intends to slander her? All this time, she had tried to blend in normally and cautiously. Only one more year left, and she would graduate without a hitch. Now she's experiencing something like this... what if her father found out?

Even if it weren't her, she wouldn't be able to defend herself with video evidence like that. She didn't have solid evidence to show that the video was edited.

Even though she said that the video had been edited, they would not believe her and only heed Ashley's words.

It would have been easier if she had told them she was the daughter of the Regnz family and insisted on investigating whether the video was edited or not.

But doesn't this mean it will ruin her low-profile's purpose?

Once people found out she was the daughter of Vincentius Regnz, the news about the eldest daughter of Mister Regnz attending Seattle University would spread quickly.

Her father would unquestionably send extra bodyguards for her, or worse, she would be forced to go home without completing her studies.

Chleo sighed softly before finally responding.

"That wasn't me. Before accusing me, you should first check whether it was edited or not."

"Hmph! Are you saying that Ashley Gray has lied? Why would she lie? Her books, stationery, and laptop were all ruined because of you!" defended Ashley's other friends.

"You think you can escape the penalty? Huh?" said the others while pushing Chleo's shoulders roughly.

Ashley deliberately kept quiet and let her gang friends act. She just watched Chleo's helplessness with a triumphant smile.

Chleo couldn't escape at all. She was surrounded by at least five girls who looked at her with scorn and full of arrogance. There was absolutely no way to get out of their gang.

"What are you doing? Stop it!" Chleo became panicked when her bag was forcibly grabbed and then took out all its contents. She wanted to stop them, but both her hands were restrained so that he couldn't move freely.

It wasn't long before Ashley smiled lopsidedly and pulled out a small bottle of black liquid. Chleo's eyes widened in horror as she realized that the contents of the bottle were black paint.

If Ashley poured that bottle's content into her books and paper sketch, it would game over for her.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING? STOP!!" Chleo struggled even more. She wished for her bodyguard to disguise himself as a student at times like this. Alas, her bodyguard was a senior, and now she regretted having her other bodyguard disguised as ordinary janitors.

Chleo almost gave up hopelessly, seeing Ashley had opened the bottle cap and was about to pour the contents over her belongings.

Surprisingly, the contents of the bottle did not come out of the bottle. Even though it looked liquid earlier and could spill right away, why does it look solid now? It was as if it became frozen.

"Aaah!" Ashley screamed in surprise as someone pushed her roughly.

Not only Ashley but Chleo was also shocked to death to see the face of the person who had just pushed Ashley.

"Hey! Who are you? How dare you push her? Don't you know who we are?"

That person glanced at the girl who had just protested with a cold gaze that made all who saw it feel chills run down to their spine, including Chleo.

This person's expression was terrifying. His blue eyes that she thought were like sapphire became brighter, almost like a blue laser. His jaw clenched, and there was no smile adorned on his face.

For a moment, a strange image crossed Chleo's mind.

The same person, the same face, and brilliant blue eyes stood before her with the same expression. The difference was that the person in front of her has black hair while the image's hair in her head was platinum.

Chleo had no idea this person was packing her things into her bag, then suddenly pulled her wrist out of the classroom.

As soon as Chleo and the mysterious young man left the classroom, the whole room was in an uproar.

"Oh my gosh! Who is that? So handsome!"

"I have never met such a handsome man. Do you see his skin? So white, like snow. I want to touch him!"

"You see his eyes, right. They are so beautiful!"

"How did Chleo get acquainted with so many handsome young men?"

"This guy is the most handsome of all the people who have come to see Chleo."

Hearing the commotion made Ashley bit her lip in frustration. She wanted to raise a bad image of Chleo, but because of that mysterious guy's appearance, the others were more interested in the young man than Chleo's scheming.

'We'll see. Once I hand over this video to the authorities, your fate will change.'
