Ice Prince: Rewrite The Star

In a rising fashion company in Seattle, Chleo was a fresh sight for a department of the designer division.

The average designer who works there was primarily men with an old lady as their leader. Therefore having a new partner like Chleo, even as an intern, was an exciting sight for them.

There was the leading designer in charge of designing gowns and casual dresses named Mrs. Montgomery. She was almost sixty-five years old with very thick glasses.

Even though Mrs. Montgomery was old and almost retired, her authority and leadership aura was still very sharp.

Then there was a young man in his thirties who worked as Mrs. Montgomery's assistance. The young man had blonde hair with pale green eyes. His name was Xavier Webster, of mixed blood English and Russian. If Mrs. Montgomery retires, Xavier was the one who has the greatest opportunity to replace her position as the leading designer.

Other artists were nice guys, such as Kurt Elliots, a handsome young man with brown hair with the same color eyes, and Michael Smith, who prefers to be called Mikey because his favorite cartoon character was Mickey Mouse.

And the last one was the young man who made Chleo shocked half to death.

"My name is Jaydn Anderson. Nice to meet you."

"I'm Chleo West. Nice to meet you." Chleo wanted to cry inside. What is Jaydn doing here???

"West? I have a feeling your real surname isn't West."

"Hahaha." Chleo could only stifle a nervous laugh. What are you talking about? Why would I change my surname?"

"Who knows?" Jaydn put on a mysterious sly smile that made Chleo break out in a cold sweat.

Ugh!

What in the world is Uncle Stanley's cousin doing here?! T_T

Jaydn Anderson was one of the chosen people who would continue Stanley's position as the fourth Zero.

But since the cataclysmic events in Prussia, Uncle Kinsey and her mother decided to disband the rest of Alpha and Zero members. They decided Stanley and Tanya would be the last generation of Alpha Zero.

Even though they already have their respective successors, they decided to comply with the wishes of their second miss.

Since then, the members of Alpha Zero have continued their lives as ordinary people and blend in with the community.

One of them was Jaydn Paxton, who apparently had a talent for becoming an accessories designer.

Since he knew most people in New York would recognize him as Zero's successor, Jaydn decided to stay in Seattle and started a new life there.

Who would have thought he met his third miss… his former third miss. And again, why didn't the girl use the name Regnz?

Jaydn couldn't believe that Vincentius Regnz was willing to let his daughter roam around a city as far away as Seattle without an escort. He was sure that at least four to ten people Vincent had assigned to protect Chleo from harm.

"So, what are you doing here?"

During recess, Jaydn took Chleo to the roof of the building, where there were many plants and long benches there. Not only the two of them came to the top, but several employees also liked to spend their break time on this roof.

Maybe because the arrangement was lovely and calms the mind, that's why this place was a favorite place to rest the mind.

"I should be the one asking you. Why do you work here, uncle?"

Jaydn snorted disapprovingly of the name.

"I'm only 26, so just call me Jay. After all, people will suspect if they hear you call me uncle."

Chleo laughed at that. "Okay. So, what are you doing here, Jay?"

"What do you think? Of course for work."

"Are you sure? Wasn't it because my father sent you here?" Chleo grimaced when she saw the cynical glance from her youngest uncle. "Don't be cynical about me. I feel so guilty."

"Can you feel guilty?"

"Ouch! It hurts. You're so mean. It's been five years since we haven't seen each other; you're getting worse and worse." Chleo grumbled while putting on a frown.

Jay laughed at that.

After talking for a few minutes, they went back into the building to get back to work.

The first day of work was a pretty fun day for Chleo. She quickly got along with her co-workers and adapted quickly.

Unfortunately, Mrs. Montgomery did not assign a task that was quite meaningful. The older woman just told her to tidy up the messy design paper on the table or ordered her to make coffee. All day, she was only used as an errand girl and was not given any design-related tasks.

Even so, Chleo did not complain and was optimistic. Maybe Mrs. Montgomery hoped that Chleo would adapt first, so she only commanded her trivial things. Maybe in the next few days, Mrs. Montgomery would give her a more weighty assignment once the older woman saw her potential.

Thinking of this possibility, Chleo did not become lethargic and remained excited about her first day at work.

Chleo had no idea what the real intention of the treatment was far from what she had expected.

"Ashley, your friend, Chleo, ended up working at our place."

"What? How is that possible? I heard there is this ban regarding her employment, right."

"I'm not too sure. I didn't expect this company to dare to go up against the legendary Flex group."

"Tsk. I thought she had an extraordinary background, but it turned out that even the three business empires are against her. Aunt Mal, you will help me torture her. She broke my laptop and destroyed all my assignments. I have to restart everything from scratch. Luckily I have backed up all my data in cyberspace. Otherwise, my grades will fall apart in the next semester."

"Don't worry, dear. I will help you get revenge. I will have her dishonorably dismissed here."

"That would be a lot of fun. Thank you very much, aunt. I love you so much."

It turned out that Mrs. Montgomery was none other than Ashley Gray's aunt. Ashley, who was initially wary and wanted to approach Chleo because she thought Chleo wasn't an ordinary person, became wholly convinced that Chleo was just an irrelevant insect.

Ashley decided she would do whatever it took to get Chleo out of the campus.
