The people from my motherland looked the same as before, still maintaining their impeccable smiles and saying reassuring words such as "the problem has been solved."

Only Queen Maeve's delicate face was deathly pale, a hint of panic in her eyes, as she spoke in a low voice, intensely discussing something with her countrymen.

at this point.

Los knew very well that his countrymen were about to abandon the out-of-control plane, and Queen Maeve, now a descendant of Wonder Woman, simply couldn't persuade him otherwise.

The people of our motherland will never allow themselves to be stained with the mark of rescue failure.

What should we do now?

Even if he could strengthen his clothes, Los felt he couldn't withstand the impact of falling from a height of 10,000 meters. Even if he survived by chance, he would likely face a frenzied attack and be silenced by his countrymen.

The dangers faced by our motherland are far greater than those of ordinary robbers.

Just as Los was racking his brains, trying to figure out a way to survive, a deep and powerful voice suddenly rang out.

"Give me control of your body, and I'll help you get out of here."

The sound doesn't come from beside your ears, but from the depths of your heart, or rather, the depths of your soul.

Los, seated, felt the noise of the surrounding passengers gradually subside, and the argument between his countrymen and Queen Maeve not far away came to a standstill.

Time seemed to stand still, and the world became quieter than ever before.

Los closed his eyes again, his perception shifting from the out-of-control cabin at 10,000 meters altitude to a small, enclosed space filled with a mysterious red glow.

This place is like the edge of the universe, the end of life.

There was no other light, no gaps, no sound.

Deep within the silent, crimson glow, only a mysterious man dressed in a blue metallic suit sat in the corner, his hair disheveled.

He was very tall, and even though his body was withered and decayed, appearing thin and gaunt, his superior skeletal structure still supported the battle-scarred lead armor he wore.

His withered skin had lost its vitality, his eyelids carried a gloomy death aura, yet his chest still bore an 'S'-shaped golden emblem of glory, leaving behind an inviolable sense of oppression even in death.

"Superman?"

Los looked on incredulously.

That's clearly a Kryptonian totem!

But the Superman before my eyes is very different from the Superman I remember.

In every DC universe, Superman is the protagonist and the pinnacle of power—that's an indisputable point!

The Superman before them, however, seemed like a prisoner, alone in a dark and hopeless jail, walking towards the end of his own destiny.

"With my power, those outsiders are nothing."

The dead Superman raised his sharp, chiseled jaw, his cheeks plated with cold, metallic armor, and a pair of proud and domineering eyes revealed through his disheveled bangs.

Even under the blazing sun, one can still die alone.

His deep tone still showed disdain for his compatriots, exuding an air of absolute dominance and pressure.

Los suddenly remembered who the other person was.

He is indeed a superman, but an unjust one!

An alliance that abandons all moral principles and creates injustice in the name of absolute justice.

An extreme superman attempting to use his superhuman powers to rule the entire world!

He almost succeeded, but collapsed at the last moment.

If one could obtain the power of an unjust superman, the people of the motherland would be nothing. Both superhuman power and dictatorial methods would be absolutely superior.

Just as Los was thinking about this, a memory of a special ability and how to use it suddenly entered his mind, as if it were innate.

That's a special ability that Superman possesses, called the "Biofield," which allows him to perfectly control his power to interact with the outside world.

So easily, he acquired a biofield?

Los subconsciously wanted to get closer to the dead Injustice Superman to gain more of their abilities, but suddenly a hoarse whisper came from behind him.

"Just a gentle reminder, kid, don't go any further."

Are there any other experts?

Los turned around at the sound, and the scene that appeared before him was even more astonishing than when he saw Injustice Superman.

This is a city battlefield that has experienced a terrible war, full of ruins.

The sky was still burning, the earth was desolate, and the world was like a furnace, with blood and ashes scattered everywhere.

In the shattered city of New York, an old man in crimson armor lies on a collapsed wall, his back to the afterglow of the setting sun.

Half of his body was charred black, his armor and flesh were indistinguishable, and the metal glove on his right hand was almost fused with his remains.

The energy engine in his chest went out, and his weary eyes reflected a sense of weariness.

Is this for real, Iron Man?

Los's brain went blank for a moment.

The hero who sacrificed himself in the Marvel Cinematic Universe Endgame, the world's richest man and playboy, Tony Stark?

How did Iron Man and Injustice Superman end up together?

Los looked at the dead Iron Man, then glanced back at the dead Injustice Superman, and a sudden realization flashed through his mind.

No, they're not mixed together.

It was their very existence that bound these two spirits, who died in different American comic book universes, together.

Although they are spirits, they seem like you can talk to them?

Los asked politely, "Mr. Iron Man, what did you mean just now?"

“I learned a lesson when I was very young: free things are always the most expensive. If I can solve something with money, I’m even willing to pay several times more.”

The dead Iron Man smirked and said casually, "Hand over your body to him, and he can certainly help you escape, but what happens after you're free?"

This isn't Gotham, don't be a riddle teller.

Los frowned, turned to look at the dead Injustice Superman, and tentatively asked:

"After I give myself to you and you help me escape, am I still myself?"

The dead Injustice Superman did not respond, but simply stared at him with calm eyes, as if to tell him that it was a good deal.

Los knew the answer.

He had no doubt that with the full power of the Injustice Superman, he could easily escape from the plane and even gain the upper hand over his countrymen.

However, after escaping, one may be completely controlled by the power of the Unjust Superman and lose oneself.

This is the Unjust Superman, not a god on earth, but the dictator of the world, the solitary king of the universe!

In other words, this is a Kryptonian demon god with superhuman strength who will stop at nothing to achieve his goals!

Los realized that he had been too careless in his treatment of the undead.

Even though they are dead, they were once the pinnacle of their respective American comic book universes, possessing unparalleled wisdom and abilities.

"Mr. Steelman".

Los turned around, wanting to thank the deceased Iron Man, but before he could speak, something else inexplicably came to mind—

Injustice, as the king of a dictatorial world, is not worthy of trust.

Can we easily trust someone who has died like Iron Man?

If they are now spirits, and can only connect with the outside world through him, could they have other purposes?

The person in front of me is a genius with an IQ of 270.

The deceased Iron Man noticed Los's hesitation, seemed to guess his thoughts, and instead revealed an admiring look:

“That’s right. You’re much smarter than Peter. Don’t trust any dead spirits, including me.”

He paused for a moment, then continued:

"You already have the solution to break the deadlock on the plane. If you can get out of this predicament through your own efforts, we might be able to discuss a real deal in the future."

The next instant, a piece of professional knowledge about "Aircraft Structure" and "Mechanical Analysis" entered Los's mind.

Iron Man said boldly, "This is an extra gift; consider it a greeting present."

Exiting the mysterious soul space, Los's senses returned to the nearly out-of-control Boeing plane, and time began to flow again.

At an altitude of 10,000 meters, the Boeing aircraft was on the verge of losing control, and the oxygen masks on each seat had already deployed on their own.

Los quickly reviewed the information in his mind.

Gain a new ability: [Biofield].

New knowledge: Aircraft Structures and Mechanical Analysis.

Stark, you big dog, is it just professional knowledge? At least give us some anti-Chinese armor!

Los looked down at his hands and quickly seemed to have come up with a way to break the deadlock. He immediately unbuckled his seatbelt and walked toward his homeland.

003 Facing the Motherland

"It's alright, the hijackers have been dealt with. The plane was just experiencing updrafts."

The Chinese man, laughing and loudly explaining to the passengers, then lowered his voice and said to Queen Maeve sitting next to him:

"Let's go. Even if I know how to fly a plane, it's no use. The cockpit is destroyed, and this plane is beyond saving."

"No, things shouldn't be like this."

Faced with the hopeful gazes of over a hundred passengers, and looking at the innocent, angelic girl not far away, Queen Maeve's remaining conscience still couldn't bring herself to do it.

She anxiously suggested, "Go outside and lift the plane up!"

"Lift? How do you lift it?"

The Chinese man looked at Queen Maeve with annoyance and casually replied, "At that speed, I would either walk right through the plane or the fuselage would flip over."

Queen Maeve's nails dug into her palms as she eagerly offered more advice, "Then you should take the passengers off one by one."

The people of the motherland seemed to have heard a joke and couldn't help but laugh.

"One by one? That's over a hundred passengers, making me fly over a hundred times?"

There are so many people, it's impossible to save them all.

Even if he can save some passengers, his incompetence today will be exposed.

Instead of doing that, it would be better not to save any of them, and just pretend that we never came aboard the plane in the first place.

The Chinese people had already made up their minds and were about to forcibly take Queen Maeve away when they saw a young man walking towards them, ignoring the turbulence of the aircraft.

It was the young Chinese man who had just warned the assailant that he was armed.

The other person had distinct features, bright and piercing eyes, a clean and sunny buzz cut, and a slender figure. He was wearing a common hooded jacket and faded jeans.

To the surprise of his countrymen, the young man was much more stable and calm than before.

“Mr. Fatherland, Ms. Maeve.”

Los stepped forward to greet him, quickly introducing himself: "My name is Los, and I just passed the application process for Godotkin University."

Queen Maeve was still anxiously thinking of a solution, completely unaware of Los's approach. She only instinctively looked at the young man when she heard the voice.

"Gododin University?" she asked, somewhat surprised.

That's a school under the Vought Group, which specifically recruits and trains newly-adult superhumans to provide a continuous stream of reserve heroes for the Super Seven.

Many of the current members of The Seven graduated from the Lamplighter School of Crime at Gododkin University.

"so what?"

The Chinese looked at Los indifferently; he was just a student at a school under the Water Group, of no value to him.

He believed that the other party was begging him to rescue them.

Los stated bluntly, "My ability is to enhance inanimate objects."

"Enhance objects?"

Queen Maeve's eyes betrayed her disappointment; it was a pity that her abilities, such as teleportation or flight, were completely useless now.
