Chapter 32 The Final Stage

Chapter 32 The Final Stage

The Andrew Hotel is the hotel where Xuexi from "Ice Moon Flower Snow" stayed.

"This afternoon I recorded a video for my supporters to tell them that there will be a big magic show at the stadium tomorrow."

"I think the outfit I wore for the video looks really good on me, don't you think?"

Even though the concert had been canceled, Xuexi still wore light makeup and the strapless bodycon dress she had changed into for the afternoon's recording.

Because of its form-fitting design, the dress perfectly accentuated Xuexi's figure. The silver-gray base with white diamond embellishments added a touch of mystery to the star singer.

In response to Xuexi's question, Connors carefully looked her over from head to toe and then said:

You can only wear this dress once.

"How could that be? I designed this myself, of course I wouldn't wear it once and then throw it away." Xuexi didn't understand.

But soon, the wear and tear on the knees of the dress, and the fabric deformation caused by excessive movements, made her realize why Connors said it could only be worn once.

Wearing an elegant gown, he surprisingly had a unique charm. Connors lit a cigarette afterward.

"Young Master Wayne, it's time for your rehabilitation training."

Butler Alfred urged, but Bruce Wayne, who should have been doing rehabilitation exercises with the help of a body frame, was instead having pieces of armor assembled on his body with the help of a mechanical arm.

This bat suit has a larger silhouette than previous tight-fitting suits, features an internal auxiliary power system, and has cushioning and support structures throughout the back.

When Bruce Wayne was finally dressed up, he looked like a heavy humanoid armor, with his long cape trailing behind him on the ground.

"Gotham and Robin both need me."

Bruce Wayne continued to use Connors's nickname for Dick Grayson, "Robin."

Butler Alfred stepped forward and helped Batman move the temporarily removed body brace aside, asking:

Even if Patterson is currently the only person besides "The Flash" Barry who knows that "Batman" and "Bruce" are the same person, are you still worried about him?

Without saying a word, Batman nimbly jumped into the Batmobile with the help of the Bat Armor.

Connors's way of doing things was so eccentric that Batman was even worried that he might misunderstand him and end up helping Robin catch the murderer who killed his parents.

Even though he hadn't left the house for the past few days, Batman used his detective skills to deduce that the Graysons' deaths were related to outsiders.

This outsider was actually the manager of Xuexi, the female celebrity who was supposed to have dinner with him.

Outside the hotel room where Xuexi and Connors were, a young man with a hooked nose listened to the laughter and chatter inside with a gloomy expression, his fists clenching harder and harder.

He is the manager and one of the suitors of the star singer Xuexi.

That night, when he knocked on Xuexi's door in a suit and tie, holding flowers, he thought he could take advantage of Xuexi's illness to make his move, but he was ruthlessly rejected by her.

As he entered the elevator and was about to return to his room, he heard Xuexi's door open again. The star singer ran alone towards the hotel rooftop.

The agent thought his chance to make it a done deal had come, so he secretly followed them and witnessed a scene that nearly made him grind his teeth to pieces:

Xuexi knelt on the ground with her back to him, while standing in front of her was a tall and strong man.

The glamorous goddess on stage is actually like this behind the scenes. The manager stumbled back to her room, completely distraught.

But he quickly came up with a plan to create a major incident that would cause the celebrity's career to be affected by public opinion, causing it to plummet, and even break up the couple.

So, before the show started, the manager of the "Flying Graysons" circus dripped a solution onto all the ropes that would cause the elastic fibers to age rapidly.

The plan was for the entire family to be thrown heavily from a great height into the audience during the climax of the circus performance.

However, no one expected that the "Flying Graysons" would be so intense just as they were warming up the crowd. Before their eight-year-old child even officially took the stage, the ropes broke.

The mere death of the Graysons, without any harm to the audience, is unlikely to generate a significant public outcry.

But Connors never reappeared, and his agent thought the matter was over.

Today, he was still wearing a white suit that matched Xuexi's silver-gray dress perfectly, attempting to further win her heart.

However, the soundproof door blocked the view inside, but the faint slapping sounds still made him want to rush in right then and there.

Strangle the other person.

Since one attempt wasn't enough to teach you a lesson, let's do it again. Tomorrow's magic show will have at least a hundred deaths...

The agent took a deep breath and continued listening to the alluring sounds coming from the goddess inside the room, a sickly smile appearing on his face.

After this battle, the hormones left by "Poison Ivy" Ivy in Yuki's body should completely disappear, and Yuki, who interacted with him based on these hormones, should also return to normal.

After taking one last drag of his cigarette, Connors got dressed and, this time, instead of jumping out of the window, stepped onto the soft carpet and opened the hotel room door.

Outside the door, a sleazy-looking man with a hooked nose, dressed in a white suit, was tilting his ear as if eavesdropping.

Without saying a word, Connors grabbed the other person by the collar and lifted him up, then walked to the elevator.

There is a small window here, used for ventilation.

He casually tossed the hooked nose out the window, and Connors followed closely behind, leaping down.

Amidst the wailing and shouting of the hook-nosed, lewd man, the two fell rapidly. Just before they were about to hit the ground, Connors used a master-level trick to slow their speed, landing lightly on the ground.

"Who are you! Did I fall to my death?" The hook-nosed man's first reaction was to check if he was missing any limbs.

Despite his legs being weak from the fall, the hook-nosed man's wildly beating heart finally calmed down once he realized he wasn't experiencing any pain anywhere in his body.

But soon his heart started racing again, because before he jumped, Connors had come out of Sheryl's room.

He also recognized Connors as the man who had been on the rooftop with Sheryl and sitting with her in the circus audience.

Ignoring his weak legs, he threw a punch.

Breaking an arm is no different from breaking a match. Connors broke the guy's fist with one hand, and thoughtfully prevented the broken bone spurs from piercing the skin so as not to smell blood.

Without wasting words with the guy, Connors covered his head with a cloth, tossed him into the passenger seat of the supercar that Bruce Wayne had just given him, and drove all the way to Gotham Stadium.

Several lights remain on in the stadium, which is still set up as a circus stage because of an accident that happened here during the "Flying Graysons".

On the stage, a small figure was kneeling on the ground, motionless.

After escaping Wayne Manor, Dick Grayson, orphaned and homeless, instinctively came to this stage for his final performance.
